Thank you for sharing it. So the cp name is 'YangDi'. I quite like it.Does anyone have the promoting video with…
Wish I could help you. But my Chinese is not very good and I cannot really translate them. I only understand about 20%. I just look at their interaction, facial expressions and so on, and we can see just how comfortable they are with each other.
Lmao, i read almost all comments here except 2 or 3 comment (which are attacking others who have different opinion…
Yup. Great great majority here are all positive. Those who don't like the games, just a few. Just need to provide some explanation. Some say YY is a bit stiff, we explain. If all else fails, we leave them alone. Don't waste our time. We just enjoy exchanging views with people who love YAMG, and love the performances of YY and Reba.
Just to share with all of you something I learned from someone at the page of TLB. I scrolled down 2 months of…
Defend is perhaps too strong a word. Perhaps explain is a better word. If people find too many scenes on those games stuff, we can explain why. If people find YY a bit stiff, we can explain why. If they do not accept our explanation, we just move on.
The 'defending' of TLB helped create a family atmosphere at the page of TLB. We enjoyed each other's presense there so much, at one stage, if you take a lunch break of 1 hr, and you come back, you cannot even find your own comments.
I am not suggesting we create the same kind of culture here. Hardly. Each MDL page is unique, with a unique composition of individuals. And each drama is also unique.
I am just giving a suggestion how we could respond to people who come here will a different opinion, so that less friction is created.
If you do not feel comfortable engaging people with different opinions, it is Ok. Those of us who are comfortable will do it.
Just to share with all of you something I learned from someone at the page of TLB. I scrolled down 2 months of comments at that page to find this. Here was her advice:
Sad, but nothing much we can do. If you try to explain the ending or why the drama deserves a higher rating, they would say that's their opinion and you're trying to belittle their intelligence or don't allow them to take their stance, or how you're trying to strong arm them with TLB/GeSun army... blah blah. It's never ending and just exhausting to engage. Best to just move on, and enjoy discussing things that makes you happy with people who have the same thinking. Life is short. Don't get worked up over internet comments. Scroll and skip over undesirable comments.

It's been a while since i watched wuxia. Is this a good one? Please recommend any good wuxia from 2020-2021
Very very good! You will love it. But, it is not a pure Wuxia drama. More like a historical. It does have some very good wuxia type of fighting sequences. But the story is very very good.
Would like to second the comment that Gu Man mentioned that the novel is made for YY and Reba. So, no need for…
Haha! Sorry. I was not directing the comment at you. I hit the reply button, meaning to reply to Starblink above. I know who you are and you were at TLB, so I would never have directed that comment to you.
it's both lmao tencent took the chance to promote both of their biggest partners and their most popular game
I think geez meant Tencent used the drama to promote the video game as well as both the leads of this drama.
That, I can fully understand. Especially now that you mentioned both YY and DD are spokesperson for the video game itself.
I actually have nothing against that. Because I read an article that says Tencent spent a lot of money making the CGI for this drama, those CGI that involve the game. That is why they looked so cool. And I bear no resentment toward that.
But since I am not a game person, I just fast forward all the game scenes. And so far so good. I have understood what the main plot is all about, and where the story is headed toward. And because both YY and DD have acted so well, I am totally satisfied. Not a second of my time has been wasted.
It saddens me to read so many opposing comments because I am enjoying the drama immensely and am a fan of the…
There are only just a few opposing comments. Honestly. But, somehow, it has been amplified. Not to worry. We will bring our experience from TLB to bring peace to this place, so that, hopefully, by tomorrow, calm and rationality will return to this forum.
Whoever is/are trying to sow discord in this forum really doing a good job. If we keep our cool, we can identify these people. They cannot hide forever. And once we identify them we can manage them. Not to worry.
But not all with dissenting views are out to sow discord. Only 1 or 2.
The storyline in the novel is straightforward BG romance with no complex or dark characters to decipher. As such,…
Yeah! That is the thing. When you start asking examples of bad acting by ML and FL, many scratch their heads and cannot offer any. But, it is ok. We do not need to over-react and attack them.
So far, I can see, the great majority who are here still love this drama. There are just a few with differing opinions. We just need to manage our differences with them in a way that is respectful and civil.
Not everyone needs to share the same opinion with us. That is a fact of life.
Yes, if you do love this drama, give it a 10. About two days ago, close to about 100 individuals dropped a bomb…
They have 20 accounts? Oh wow!! No wonder! Then just 5 of them will be able to do enormous damage! Thanks so much for educating me. Much appreciated!! I learned something new.
And they picked on Dilraba all the time? And the rating at the TLB survived their attacks? Wow! That means there were lots who pushed back as well, throwing their support fully behind TLB.
I will write to one of the editors at MDL. See if something can be done about these black fans.
Dear all who love this drama, please do not over-react to people who say I don't like this or that. Or that YY and DD are not good actor/actresses. Don't attack them. Just interact coolly, asking for reasons or evidence, to engage them meaningfully. Not all who say they do not like this drama or do not like YY or DD are haters. It is perfectly normal to have different opinions.
If they have trully watched this drama, watched all the interactions between YY and DD, listened to all the conversations between them, and still do not feel any chemistry, it is ok. Perhaps their definition of chemistry is different from ours. Maybe they are looking for kisses (or even more than that), while we sensed chemistry just from those eye gazes, those micro expressions from YY's faces, etc. We saw sparks flying, while they don't. It is ok. As long as they have watched this drama, and watched it attentively.
What is sad will be those who comment without even watching, or watched but not attentively, fast forwarding so many scenes, and come here and give substantiated comments. Even for these people, do not need to jump to conclusion. Just ask them why they feel the way they do. If they can give some examples and explain, it clearly shows that they are genuine viewers with honest opinions, just different from the majority of us. These, we do not need to attack them at all. They are entitled to their opinions (so are we to ours).
At the forum page of TLB, we just leave honest viewers with different opinions alone. We do not attack them. We just don't interact with them, because interacting with them will only stir more mutual misunderstanding and displeasure.
Do your best also not to direct negative terms like haters or toxic fan toward any specific person who came here to comment, because they will not like it, and will be very defensive. It is also not respectful to do so.
Haters and toxic fans are terms we use inside our mind, keep within ourselves, to guide us in our interactions with them. To understand why they see things the way they do. Not terms we should throw around lightly, or this forum will turn into a very hateful place, confusing many newcomers who come to this forum.
I stayed for 3 months in the forum page of TLB. If you are not sure how to handle people with dissenting views, and there are lots around and more will come in soon, I can show you. Just see how I handle the next one with dissenting view. I am not alone. There are quite a few from the TLB who migrated here. All with months of experience in handling people with different views, and great command of English.
There are people who say that the forum page at TLB is cult. It is ok. They can call us whatever they want. We will not react to it, and start calling them names in retaliation. That is not civil.
So, we need to stay cool and not over-react to every negative comment. It will not be productive, and will cause confusion for those who come here. They will think that this is not a forum, but a battleground.
That was like a few days ago?? Someone posted below. Latest update: We now have 600m views! Well on the way to 1billion views.
