Amana, earlier on, when I did an audience analysis, I kind of found evidence that is somewhat in line with what you said. I found that LS and FIYS were enjoyed by the very young (the 13-17 age group) way more than YAMG. And it is in line with what you said, because YAMG deal with many adult real-life situations. Young people of that age group loved LS and FIYS, but they can never relate to all the adult issues addressed in YAMG, so many of them just stay away.

So, in a way, these three dramas are targetted at different age group. It certainly does not mean older people cannot enjoy LS and FIYS, but the themes explored in the three dramas are rather different.

By the way, I am also multifandom. So I love your picture of Li Qin. After Joy of Life, I watched Song of Glory and also loved that drama, but was sad that it did not get the rating it deserves. And then, My Amazing Bride, which was really cute. Now waiting for JOL Season 2.

Yeah. The pace is quite fast. Things moved along seamlessly. Before we know it, this series will be over in about two weeks. After that, we can keep track of the viewership count in China. And maybe next year, look out for awards that the drama may win or YY or Dilraba may win. This is a really good drama. Many of us will be surprised if they do not win anything. Maybe all of their fan bases in China will unite. Tencent will lend its support and there will be many cheers to go round. We shall see.

That is very true. But even so, there could be lessons we could take away from interacting with them. If nothing else, we could take those interactions as opportunties to practise our social skills in learning to treat people politely and respectfully. We do not need to engage them in any prolonged manner. Just one or two exchanges. If they are still not happy, that's it. We leave them alone.

It is! So many of us find it weird. Particularly in the acting profession. Surely you must kiss a female lead someday, to show your true acting capability. But I am told, he will be changing soon, that in his latest drama, he will indeed be kissing his FL. We shall see.

And we can bring it from here to our life at home, in schools, and our workplaces, and, for those still single, even to your future families. It is so easy to call people toxic or hater here, because this is an anonymous forum. We do not see each other's faces, we do not know other people's age. The person whom we call toxic may well be old enough to be our grandmother or our grandfather.

It is ok to use those terms in a general sense, with no particular person in mind, to refer to a group of people who don't like this or that. But when we interact a specific individual, it is always good to be polite, courteous and respectful. This way, even if they started off being a bit agreesive or hostile, you will be able to swing them to your side.

Oh, very likely because of the male lead. We cannot be 100% sure, but he very likely has a no-kiss clause in his acting contract, when this drama was filmed last year. Also, he was merely 20 years old then. But, you can tell, because he gave a very good portrayal as the male lead. You will agree with me, when you start viewing. You can hardly tell he was merely 20. He performed like a guy about 25.
