Just a quick explanation why the rating dropped from 8.6 to 8.2 in the blink of an eye. Sometime this afternoon, this page suffered a massive coordinated attack. About 100 MDL account holders came here and quietly rated this drama likely between 0-2.

We do not know who these people are. The only way to counter this, very simple. They had a coordinate attack, we need a coordinated response. All who love this, rate it as high as you possibly can.

We need about 100 new ratings, all very high, to counter all those haters. But please also be honest. Those ratings must reflect what you feel about this drama, and you merely want to hold your ratings till the end of the drama. Don't hold it back. Because it might be too late. We can never tell. Haters can easily coordinate another round of attack and bring it to below 8. They did it once, they can do it again.

It might be too late by then. Some newcomers who come to this page, if they see the low rating, some may not even want to watch this. Yes, it will go up eventually, certainly will be more than 8.2. But it will be more prudent for those of us who love it, to rate it high even now. If nothing else, to encourage newcomers to watch this (if we truly believe this is a really good drama).

Can I try to be a peace maker here?? Number 1. Pencil Box is not an obsessed Yang Yang fan. She is a totally rational Yang Yang fan. I read all her comments here. She has displayed no obsessive behaviour.

Number 2, MimM, you said you are not a Yang Yang hater. We take your word for it. You said you find Yang Yang just has that pokerface and stiff look by nature and it is not due to his good acting. Many people here seems to respectfully disagree with you. They say it has to do the role he is playing. That here in YAMG, he will emote more in later episodes.

All of us will suspend all our judgement. Hurtful comments back and forth will benefit no one.

MimM, you keep watching. Later episodes, after Yang Yang faced situations that called him to emote more, and he still show that pokerface and stiff look, you have a point. For example, if he can cry with a pokerface and still look stiff with tears rolling his cheeks, we say you have a point. Yang Yang has a special way of crying that only his fans can understand and appreciate.

But, if his facial expressions did change according to the script, and everyone can feel it except you, it will be hard for the rest of us to believe that you are not a Yang Yang hater.

It does. But much will depend on you. If you a fan of either Dilraba or Yang Yang, you will feel that this is very good drama very early on. If you not a fan of either of them, by the time you hit around E8, you will start to feel the plot a bit better and know that this drama does live up to all the hype.

I see. If you as much as feel a tiny bit offended, can I appeal to you not to take it personally? There are lots of people who love YY's acting. They could be feeling hurt.

If you are not a hater, and we will take your word for it, perhaps you could carry on watching?? Because quite a few people above have explained. His character in YAMG is written this way. In later episodes, he will emote more.

Yeah! To counter those people, we who love it must rate it way way higher.

There are two types of people who complained about the games. Those who do not find games interesting, but still enjoy this drama a lot, just by watching all those interactions without the games. I belong to this category. I merely fast forward scenes with games. And I know full well that games is not part of the core plot or main emphasis of this drama. The main emphasis is about their struggles, their relationship, etc. Pretty soon, no more games will be involved, they will understand and their complains will go away.

Then there is the 2nd category of people who complained about those games. They are those who don't really like this drama because of other hidden reasons. They merely use games as an excuse to hate this drama. Those kind, there is nothing we can do, because this forum is an open space. Anyone can come here to make any kind of comments. We usually term such people 'haters.' If we can identify them clearly, the best way to deal with haters is to leave them alone. Don't even respond to them. Because, if we don't respond, after a while, they will get bored and will just go away. At least some will. The very thick-skin one will hang around and just talk to themselves.

These numbers do look good. I think most important will be the final count. That usually come in billions. To be huge success, we might have to be looking at something around 8 billion views. 5 billion views will still be a decent numbers.

Me? I am totally fine with what YY is doing. It is this lady MimM. She seems to be struggling with the character Yu Tu. Finds him too stiff. I am more than willing to wait till later episodes. And even he maintains that poker face, I am fine with it. It seems that is the way his character was written, so I will not blame Yang Yang at all.

We just need to explain things a little to MimM.

Oh dear. Did you see that BTS that showed him laughing and joking with Dilraba? His 'natural' face is hardly a pokerface. He looks like a fun loving guy who expresses his joy readily. He really did have to master that poker face look, as demanded by his role in Love020 and YAMG. Why don't you follow Hoshiko's suggestion? Watch his other dramas?

Also, showing poker face could well be an art in itself. You said you came from TLB and saw Dilraba acted with pokerface. I came from the MDL page of TLB and was there for more than 2 months. I think there could be different ways of showing pokerface. TLB is a historical. Both Love020 and YAMG are modern dramas. That is one difference there already. Next, Reba is a girl, and YY a guy. Another difference.

Finally, different actors/actresses have different ways of expressing coldness. In TLB, we saw the way Dilraba interpreted it. In LOVE020, and now in YAMG, we see the way YY did it. To each his/her own. While you find his version cold and a bit stiff, others may find his version of pokerface quite charming.

And, as Fairydustpuppy noted below, he does have those micro facial changes. I myself see that he does smile a bit, even if it just a quiet and gentle smile, and not those loud and hearty laughters.
