Yeah! This is why I find this drama so good! All the stuff they talked about are real. They relate all the conversations to real issues in China. People who don't appreciate this drama may not know this.

Hundreds of them lurking around. They do not show their face. But quietly, they just rated this down. Like really down (0, 1, or 2 out of 10). Only that kind of rating can bring this down from 8.6 to 8.2 so quickly.

Please bear it for Reba. I was at TLB page and people pointed out her red lipsticks, worn during scenes when she went to the grasslands. The grasslands is where people lived in tents. Of course no one who lived in those conditions wear bright red lipsticks!! I suspect it is the same cosmetics company she signed with, the one in Love Designer. You see her wearing the bright red lipsticks alot!

How did I cope with her red lipsticks? I just blocked it out of my mind and focused on her acting.

So, if possible, don't focus too much on the whiteness of her face. Or, you might feel upset.

Please don't feel bad. Please read some of the comments right below. You might understand why the characters he played in LOVE020 and here is poker faced. It is hardly YY's fault. In fact, if he is naturally a cheerful person who laughs easily, showing poker face is a compliment. It shows that, as a good actor, he can control his emotions really well!

Cannot be helped, in some ways. If you watch the BTS, Yang Yang off screen is rather cheerful. He laughs readily and heartily. I am told that Gu Man, the author of both LOVE020 and YAMG wrote all her male characters this way. A bit poker face, like you said.

That said, you also notice Dilraba to the fine and funny?? Here, let me try this on you. I mentioned to someone here. Opposite attracts. Dilraba's fun, funny and cute complement YY's poker face. If both had the same personality, if both were witty, talkative, cute, etc. it might make viewers feel that they are too cheesy.

So, now, we have a good balance between the two. Dilraba's more outward personality (QJJ) to balance a more inward looking and less expressive Yang Yang (YT).

Yes, here in MDL, fans don't attack each other. The situation in China is totally different. If YY fans detect any 'closeness' between YY and Reba, for sure they will attack her. And Reba's fans will respond in kind. It will not take much to ignite a fan war. If YY were to accidentally hold Reba's hand, I think that is the end. Fan wars will start.

No such happened for Reba and Wu Lei. When they held hands during interviews, it only ignited shipping fever.

I will give a likely explanation for her make up. She very likely signed some endorsement deal with some cosmetic company, and the contract states that she needs to use their white powder foundation in modern dramas. Like you, I think she is naturally beautiful. So, the endorsement deal is likely the reason why her face looked too bright.

You and I have been in TLB page long enough. Not difficult to identify who the haters are. Here are some possibilities:

1. Fans of Love Scenery and FIYS, but cannot tolerate another drama doing better their favourite drama. I worded this very caerfully, because there are those who did watch LS and FIYS, and still find charm in YAMG. But they could be in the minority.

2. Hard core fans of any of those leads who acted in LS or FIYS. Rating YAMG down will make their favoured stars look great.

3. Anti fans of Reba and Yang Yang.

The above categories of people are most worrisome, because, I suspect there are lots out there who fit in the above categories.

People who rate this down because of gaming per se, we have less to worry about. Because, soon, as the drama progresses, there will be less and less gaming stuff.

The person who say that this is not a mature drama simply does not know what she is talking about. May not even have watched a single episode.

In general, lots and lots of haters. Very likely even more than those who hated TLB. At this stage, it will take about a few hundred who rated it either 0, 1 or 2. For that to have happened, it is not random at all. It is very likely a form of coordinated attack. All of these anti-fans and haters would have send messages to each other and ask each other to rate this super low.

If you are referring to the fan meet itself, yes, I do not anything sizzling between the two. But Tiremeddy could be referring to something else, so some of the small talks between YY and DD during the fanmeet, when both of them thought that they were off camera. I think someone here mentioned this.

Yes, I would agree that out in the open, they cannot be too close. Especially YY and Reba, because they are so close in age.

Reba is a full 8 years older than Wu Lei. No matter how playful they are toward each other in those interviews, many still do not see the likelihood of them being in a real courtship.

I will agree with this comment totally. But, at the same time, I want to tell all who are watching this and really love it, please do not hold back from generous rating. For rating to drop from 8.6 to 8.2 in the blink of an eye only means one thing. Lots and lots of haters just came to MDL and rated it like 0, 1, or 2. So, you know what to do, if you do feel that this drama is good.

Yes, in the blink of an eye, it dropped to 8.2, just like that. Why? Lots of haters have come in. Which is why if you love it, you need to rate really high, just to counter all those haters. This is why I gave it a 10.

I don't think you will get any hate at all. Lots of people at TLB page felt the same way you felt. The Happy Camp episode was likely the only thing Tencent arranged for them. There were quite a few interviews Reba and Wu Lei gave, while the drama was being aired. Not sure who arranged those. If Tencent did, ok. If they did not, shame on them.

As to Tencent promoting ZLS, now I know why you said you might get a lot of hate. You think you might get hate from her fans, for saying Tencent only promotes her dramas or gave her all the plum roles . But, her fans are not even going to be here on this page. So, you are not likely going to get any hate.

For me, Tencent giving her plum roles is a high risk strategy that may well backfire, if ZLS does not deliver.

Yes, even if Tencent does not promote YAMG much, DD and YY have enough star power to do it. But it will nice if Tencent is involved. After all, they own the broadcasting rights to YAMG. If the drama does well, they will make more money.

Ok. Let those of us from TLB give you a piece of useful info, if you are new to Reba. When she filmed TLB, we saw great chemistry between her and Wu Lei. And lots of TLB lovers shipped them like crazy, especially after they saw all those clips of them promoting TLB while that drama was being aired. An army of fans were shipping them like crazy!

But nothing happened between them in real life. The two of them were simply promoting that drama, even though there were some body contacts between the two, when they did it. I do think privately, they were great friends. But, just ordinary friends. Nothing special.

So, if you do see her very friendly with Yang Yang, it will be no different. She will be very friendly with him. Nothing special is going to happen between the two.

This is just my view, though. I did not ship Wu Lei and Reba, so I was not disappointed. Not going to ship Reba and YY either. Just sharing this, so that even if you do ship them, bear that info in mind, so that you will not be too disappointed.

I would like to agree! My last count, there are about 30 people who migrated from TLB to this page. All of us are Reba fans, who came here to cheer her and Yang Yang. Wu Lei fans have gone to pages of his new drama.

So far, it has been a blast to see her transform effortlessly from Li Changge to QJJ. Such an amazing versatile actress.
