That is good!! If you have yet to rate it, give it a high rating in MDL, to counter all the haters. There were lots of haters, especially when the drama was first aired. People who rate it down unreasonably.

Yes, she has The Blue Whisper, which we should see either by end of the year, or early next year. And, by next June or July, we should see The Legend of Anle.

If you love her dramas, you must have loved TLB. Many of us who have been in this forum for the past months feel that this is likely her best performance in a historical drama. It called for her to show the widest range and depth acting talents and skills. And because Wu Lei acted so well too, they became well loved as a couple. Most of us ended up putting aside the lack of kisses and focused on their great on-screen chemistry.

There are some people who do not feel their magical connections. But many of us do. Especially, when we take into account the fact that Li Changge and Ashile Sun are two highly independent individuals, and Li Changge is so smart and talented and highly skilled in martial art, she does not need Ashile Sun to be constantly protecting her.

Please do, because the Xuanwu Gate Incident sets off all the events in this drama. The lead character of Li Changge is fictional, but Li Si Min was a real person. He will later become the 2nd Tang Emperor. Since you like history, this drama is set during the Tang dynasty. Historically, this period of ancient China is most loved by the Chinese people.

Yes, I am aware of that. She is like a queen of commercials in the Chinese market, which by itself is an indication of just how well loved she is in China. All the products see their sales going up, after her endorsement. She is also scandal-free and very humble as a person. Someone described her as beautiful inside out. And coming from an ethnic minority, all the more she deserves our respect.

Online search will reveal that she once worked as a salesgirl, before deciding to become an actress. We can only imagine, what a waste of talent that would be if she did not join the acting industry.

If you referring to the fact that they turned down the original male actor, and chose Wu Lei instead, because of the scandal engulfing the original male actor at that point in time, I agree with you. But that is the reality of the Chinese drama market. There are instances where a drama has been completely filmed, but was never released, because of some scandal. The producer would rather wait for a few years, for the scandal to subside before releasing it. I guess the producer for The Long Ballad did not want that to happen, because that would mean having The Long Ballad stuck in limbo for 1-2 years. So they chose a safe path and decided to go for Wu Lei, the guy who likely has a no-kiss clause in his contract, when The Long Ballad was filmed.

But truth be told. Wu Lei and Dilraba more than made up for it through their excellent acting. Any viewer who watched this and saw their body language, those hugs that got their bodies closer and closer, those tender forehead kisses, those eye gazes, those tender one-on-one conversations they had, they conveyed love and affection just as effectively, or perhaps even more so.

This is hardly a good arrangement. It will mean she needs to fly out of Hengdian, go the studio to film Happy Camp and then fly back again. Going to tire her out.

And between filming and airing of Happy Camp, there could be a lapse of 2-3 weeks, by which time, YAMG would have been half way through its airing. Hardly a good way to promote YAMG. The way they did it to promote TLB was better. Helped built excitement for that drama. Maybe they had no choice, due to some scheduling issue. If so, doing it this way is better than having no Happy Camp promotion at all.

It is not normal for events to be that fast in Chinese dramas, but this is not a normal historical Chinese drama. The event in Ep 2 is a real historical event in Chinese history called Xuanwu Gate Incident. You can read more about it in the Recent Discussion section above. Look for two links that are related to Xuanwu Gate incident.

This is one of the best historical Chinese dramas aired recently. It has elements of real history, as many of events in the drama really took place in Chinese history, and many of characters mentioned were real people, and places mentioned real places. And the main focus of this drama is on character development. Specifically of the main protaganist Li Changge. Romance ran alongside her character development, but is of secondary focus, compared to character development.

The acting by all the main actors is superb, great music, great chemistry between the first two leads, great cinematography.

If you look at the number of comments here, it says 32k plus comments. Shows you just how good this drama is, that so many people come here to comment.

That is a good question. But right now, Reba is at Hengdian, filming Legend of Anle. So, how can they even shoot any Happy Camp episode? If they want to do it, they should do it before she went there. The episode can still air, even after July 26. Could still be sort of promotional material, to generate more viewership. But she is now there in Hengdian. What can do they do? You mean, they will shoot Happy Camp at Hengdian?? Will she even have the time to do it, in the midst of filming another drama??

Is this possible? Dilraba is right now at Hengdian Studios, filming another drama. Any appearance on Happy Camp should be something they have done before Dilraba went to Hengdian, am I right??

Things became very crazy after you left. I was even more enthusiatic later on. We have about few hundred comments everyday. Every 3-4 days, we would add 1000 comments. Just crazy. I don't really understand why it went that way. It is very peaceful there these days. Just one or two comment a day at most. So, quite happy to leave when the time is just right.

Yes, those early days of the drama, there were just so many unreasonable comments. You and the rest really defended it well!! You may be happy to know that those nasty comments are no longer there. Ok. I suppose this can indeed be used as an indicator of her star power in China. And it is interesting what Nauriya pointed out about Dilraba, that she is from Xinjiang. She is the only actress in that actresses' list who is not a Han Chinese
