I cried a lot when A DOU died. That scene was so emotional! I can’t forget his sacrifice. When nobody was there…
Indeed before Ashile Sun took as Li Changge's protector, there were periods when A'Dou was the only one who was there for her. Screen time wise, quite a few episodes
The way he tells that sentence was very good. Like saying to a bug. X)
Many of us here, we just love the characters so much, we need to imagine what they are like, if they are animals. It just takes our appreciation of them to another universe.
One post from Dragnelia can set off so many comments and tickle our imagination
I like their friendship ... I see Dilraba really likes to make friends with many people. She is an easy going…
Hope and agree with both of you. That they will maintain their friendship for years to come, and bring us happiness. They should. The effect of those four months of bonding during the filming will not go away so easily.
I saw this too, and Reba was simply teasing him for stroking his long hair. Just another example of their off…
You are perfectly normal. As you put it, whether on or off screen, their chemistry is on fire. So hot, we must stand at a safe distance, or that chemistry will burn us. Already, they are so sweet, many have to take a drink after watching the BTS, just to wash off all the sugar
I’m so emotional today as I miss our GeSun so much. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful tribute
We all do. The drama had ended. But so many still making wonderful videos to keep our memory of the GeSun alive
I suspect, a few years from now, many of us will still be in this forum. Some sharing love of GeSun with new viewers. And other, sharing love for the HaoYan couple
I LOVE how positive everyone is with the ending! I’m sorry but unfortunately I’m not one of you guys. I still…
I suspect, many things they wanted to do. But filming took place during the pandemic last year. You can see in some of the BTS. Dilraba was still wearing a mask.
They did what they could, with their creativity. And hope that we, the viewers, might have the imagination to connect the dots and appreciate the beauty of this drama
For me, that is what made the comments section or foum so charming. I read many of the comments here and actually got to understand the drama a whole lot better. That in turn made me wanna think about the various scenes, and help provide some explanations as to why the director did this or that. If people are blessed by it, good. If not, it is ok. I move on
Lol a giant dysfunctional family that will always have eachothers back!
Yup. Your kitchen sink is same as the avengers in Marvel movies. And Khatun is pretty much Thanos, the bad guy trying to harm the good guys. Another Khatun that is too powerful for anyone of them to take him/her on individually, Changge will just send a message to everyone, and organise another arrow-shooting, sword swinging and butt kicking team to take that person down
I thought I would give out a few awards (My opinion of course!):Best Overall Character: Chang Ge She was intelligent,…
By the way, Changge walking out to surrender. That is also my best scene. Very dramatic. Very emotional. The snow. The music. The CGI showing thousands of troops in front of her. A fearless 15-16 year old girl, facing a division of battle hardened Turks, all still with vivid memories of what she did to their perished comrades.
yep totally married. formal ceremonies are pretty much just a show for families. since neither of their parents…
They could have. But I think they needed to be mindful. This is not a National Geographic movie. For everyone like you, there are thousands out there not interested in the cultural aspects.
Many came for the romances, kisses and all. You can count the number of times people asked, why no kiss??
So far, you are the only who wished for a scene on grassland marriage ceremony. And not just any grassland marriage ceremony, but one for a Tegin
Ashile Sun was already a big shot in the grasslands before this story began. When the show ended, he would have been a bigger shot. Many said he is likely gonna be the next Khan.
If so, leaders of all the tribes will be there at their grassland wedding ceremony, with big fat presents and all. They will get many more of those luminous stones.
The grasslands people love music and they love to dance. So, there will be lots of singing, music and dancing. They will invite Sa Ding Ding to sing. She has a voice that only the grasslands can do justice.
It all depends on when they get married. Right after the final scene? If so, very likely Changge may run away during the night. Or she will get Ahsun so drunk, he will not remember a thing the next day.
I can imagine the conversation: Ahsun: Dear, did we do it last night? Changge: Of course, you were just too drunk, so you don't remember Ahsun: You mean I was drunk, and yet we still did it? Changge: Of course, dear. You were drunk, but I was not. I knew exactly what should go where.
That girl, I don't really think she is ready for baby making, yet. But then, I could be wrong
I LOVE how positive everyone is with the ending! I’m sorry but unfortunately I’m not one of you guys. I still…
It would have been easy, you know. They were there at the studio in Hengdian. Put them on two horses. Roll the camera. Job done.
But the flight of that bird (very likely done by CGI. If not, I respect the camera crew even more), and Dilraba having to rotate her head, the camera having to follow that rotation. More difficult to execute. But this would be a super unique ending and it will stay in our memory longer, compared to having them together on horses, in the same frame, looking at the horizon (this would be far too common, too run-of-the-mill)
Throughout this drama, the director has asked us to imagine along with him. Why not the ending?
Wow, you actually did research on the birds. Very impressive. Pillow book did have a lot of romantic scenes. But…
Will not pass the censor for sure, anything more steamy than that bathtub scene. They probably got the censorship guy there, while filming that scene. "Mr, is this ok? Not ok, we tone it down."
Just how far away was Changge from her beloved? Some of you are still distressed, not seeing them together in the final frame.
Look at the flight of the bird (it is very likely a hawk or an eagle. Too big to be a falcon). It was a very short flight indeed. The bird circled around Changge twice, as if to check to make sure she is ok, and then flew off, very likey back to its master. The short flight will also convey to Ashile Sun, oh good, my wife is ok, and she is very nearby. The smile on Changge's face, "This guy; doing his business in full battle gear, but still thinking about me."
As for a different actress who can act a little better. Which Chinese actress do you have in mind, that could portray Li Changge a little better?
Those are sincere questions, with no ulterior motive

Just a thot
