In my country, dramas are parental guidance-level intimate — the most scandalous thing you’ll ever see is a guy taking off his shirt 😂. And let me tell you, the acting? Legendary… in the sense that it barely exists. Producers have zero money, directors have zero skills, and scriptwriters have no plots. just freestyle whatever nonsense pops into their heads and call it a story.

And the dramas go on forever — I’m talking thousands of episodes, same plots, same locations, same “shocking” incidents repeated like they’ve discovered the secret to immortality. One even started in 2017… and somehow it’s still airing.

So when I first stumbled onto K-dramas and C-dramas online, I was like… “. In a drama, People actually finish a story, the actors can act, and plots… plots actually exist! What kind of sorcery is this?!” 😂

For me, I honestly don’t care about kiss scenes or bed scenes. Real chemistry doesn’t even need physical touch — I learned that from watching One and Only.

But in this drama? 😭
The intimate scene just made me laugh. The vibes were so off that I genuinely wish they hadn’t shown it at all. It completely broke the moment instead of adding anything meaningful. i feel it just like a dog fight 😂

The first 1/3 of that drama was genuinely good — I really enjoyed it. But the last 2/3 were honestly awful. I don’t even have the words to describe how bad the screenwriting became. Since this story is starting to fall apart too, I checked the this drama's screenwriter’s previous works… and when I found out who also wrote SaB, all my expectations disappeared instantly.

Now I’m only watching this drama for the leads — they’re the only thing keeping me here.

The abortion potion was actually given to her by the ML — not because he wanted to harm her, but because if she became pregnant, he would be the one to die. It was the only way he could protect her and keep himself alive, even though it was cruel and heartbreaking.

She’s a great actress — the character is just painfully dumb at times 😭 And honestly… exactly what I expected from the SaB screenwriter. A real mess. They have a talent for creating characters who make our blood pressure spike for no reason 💀

Honestly, everyone around her is hiding at least one secret. She’s the only one walking around in the dark while everyone else already knows the truth — no wonder they all look at her like she’s the fool of the palace.

And the Preceptor… she’s straight-up obsessed. In the novel, she was actually a consort, not a preceptor, so I’m fully expecting her to pull something outrageous later. She already oversteps every boundary possible — barging into the empress’s chambers, lecturing the emperor like she's his wife, acting like she has some claim over their marriage. I just know she’s going to deliver the most infuriating “plot twist” of the whole show.

Honestly, — even if the plot went completely off the rails, I’d still be here just because of these two leads. Despite the chemistry being ridiculous, every episode gives at least one scene that keeps me hanging on.

Yesterday’s bath scene. The moment FL put the hairpin to his neck… instantly reminded me of KMLM too.

I think the Prime Minister staging Xian Xue’s “death” in front of Xiao Huan and Cang Cang is exactly his style — one move achieving multiple goals at once.

Cutting off Xiao Huan’s surveillance.
As long as Xian Xue is alive and moving around, Xiao Huan will keep tracking him. A “death” wipes the board clean and buys the Prime Minister freedom to move his real chess pieces elsewhere.

Weaponizing Cang Cang’s emotions.
