And fact they have this future outlook together. And they got it, they wont if they just thought its "impossible". And they are flawed people.
(Some of the lines too obvious to deny it lol. Some that one would like to interpret, its still cannot be more interpretation. i mean its not "This clear fact should not be true bcos I cant agree with it". ).

Im not twisting things around. It is not me. Im just saying whats in the context that written in novel thats also shown in the drama. XY only really yearn for one man in the story. All the heartbreaks and yearning (wanting to be with/desire to he with) is with only guy. I cant apply this "yearning" on another man. Well you ask it. Yes all Xy yearning were on Jing when was thrown into river by Hou. she thought Jing should still be alive or when she give up that idea. Whether hes still alive or dead, she will still commit to him. (Back then she cannot obtain him she kind of yearn for him too which is why she could not sleep well for decade.) Im saying bcos its clearly referring to only one guy. Xy enjoy FFB/XL company (that formed bond too and flattered at times). But its not like she yearned for him when hes not there. But then again about title "longing", its true its mostly XY pov. But its also can apply to other characters as we all see each important character probably suffered from it too at some point in life as Tong Hua mentioned. And that made the story. No Im not twisting anything.

Yes Xiao Yao get Tu ShanJing back in the end. Im talking about the context and the title. I never found XY yearn that XL in such way. But i never deny their kind of unspoken bond. I dont find it as main love line at all. These phrase you put above there is about "eternal yearning" about when two people separated they will be yearning for each other or not able to forget even when not able to possess each other, and thats being the deep love. If part is eternal then yearning would be eternal too. Thats the journey with YaoJing. Its not they yearn at the end of the story . No. And a story title never only apply to the ending, but its whole journey. Moreover this longing is real title of drama, and its not lyf. In her novel, drama, its actually ZX/CX who probably left with yearning. And TH just said that. And as for Xy i think she will miss XL. but I cannot say its that kind of longing/yearning. Xy is surely devasted but shes also letting it go and moving on with life. She never really have such relationship with him too.

Jing is not flawlesss but sometimes things are out of his way too. But that kind of unfortunate thing can happen to anyone else. He does not have any ill thinking towards anyne else. Despite him not being able to handle things smoothly at times , he is most willing to do best to get to be with her. This alone would make me choose this guy.
At least his gentle nature and way of life gives Xiao Yao life and love, shes happy with him. And ready to get over any dark times.❤️

Certain things are just so direct. I dont think things can be changed. But some we can interpret.
Overall I see it that way on her relationships with those different guys too.
No matter how many times i read the novel. I only see yearning betweenYaoJing even when they cannot possessed to each other and also cannot be forgetten either. it like when they break up first time (no matter how she tried she cannot forget him) or another time Jing went missing assuming dead. If he did not come back she will yearn/miss him forever. Its yearning between 2 people. Nevertheless Like Tong Hua said this "yearning", many characters suffer from it though. (She mentions it belongs Zhuang Xu in novel by end though). I think its through Jing that XY can be whole and hope for the future (bcos they are same soul . I mean they have both positive outlook).

I guess they like that hopeless tragic trope thats why they like that? But its clearly surely from start they walked in different direction since start, so real commiting to life together is never going to happen.

Yes its not worth at worry🥹 ...but just could help at times. Wei had pick this one up. So yep i have positive thinking it will at least be good one. All the costumes so far are gorgeous. And yep already reserved on Iqiyi.

I think i will just reply here.This will be long. There is post above in this comment section sharing on interviews of here and there. there is one in which Yang Zi saying "She did not choose Jing". (lol but in another interview Yang Zi had said "If Xy did not love Jing, she might not have choose Jing" so I think it depends on audience she was talking to probably.
and then Yes there is mentioning of being "rational" in there. but are they really rational in reading and understanding context without making up on "hidden lines". TH had already said she had expressed everything CLEARLY in her story. And character has their own choices. As she said in Liaoshen Evening News interview.
At least Tong Hua acknowledged of Tushan Jing being Xiao Yao's Lover. And Yang Zi used "dating" with Shiqi. So theres that.
For me in chapter 8, WXL chose to go and test on Shiqi whether he would help her escape from CX. If WXL did not care enough she would not "choose" to do this action.
I will summarized topic on of "Jing break promise" .he did not do it to happened. Its all unfortunate events YaoJing have to go through. He is the only guy whom hoped future with Xy. He did not give up on it no matter how ill fated events they have to meet, not just accepted along with it. They do not considerate these ill fate but put the blame on the guy. Or even thinking fair? lol. Actually other 2 guys also followed their urged things in life as well. But they had not chosen Xy although they did good things for her. And XY has good feelings for them.
But its with Jing that she manifested her future with. Im saying bcos its in the story context. With Jing she does not feel she was dominated like the others. It is him who gave her equality. Thats very important in relationship.
TH said that love is one thing and the choice can be from being suitable. Yes I think that if couple is not suitable or compatiple the union cannot be last long. Since their mission in life does not incline together. I like this a bit realistic approach yet also very romantic approach on YaoJing love story. it felt idealistic at time too for some reason. 😅 I mean we may have liked bad boys before not always on nice guy in dramas and romance. However in this one there something that give realistic yet also dreamy kind of romance with gentle touch (not intense angsty always). And certain people come to love this gentle Tushan Jing. I think Tong Hua wants to keep this novel not as fantasy angsty passion that probably in real life cannot last. She avoided overly erotic for this one too. But chapter 20 is quite intimate still. Its what she considered her fav back then. And we love it as well.

Yes its one of the most plotline i come across over too . I think the characters are very well built. And also its grounded fantasy is something interesting and unique than other xian xias that had come out.

I still dont understand about anything passion in ch43. She was awe by seeing his real self who is unique and powerful. Wheres passion there? All her yearning are all referred to Jing.
And Pls let me LOL about this Jing = maternal energy lol... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I dont think Xy do those things with her mom that she does with Jing.
Yes Xy never betray her good feelings she had for XL. She regards him as companion at times and wish him choose "good" for himself like her choosing her way. And yep all Xy's desire towards Jing never betray the good feeling she had for XL.
And yes Jing is actually a genius strategist in his way. But he naturally chose love over power.

No theres no mentioning of XL in chapter 20 at all.
And No... That Jing line is "maybe you are too good" is answering her question of why he rejected her kiss before in chapter 14. Its not his feeling in the moment in chapter 20. Theres no line "You are too good to me."

Ohh I had seen this "hidden line" theory on this page a bit long time ago. But to me LYF is NO such " hidden line type" at all. All the relationships are clear.
The author clearly wrote which is the main love line relationship and the two other types which are
also high weight for overall plot.
But I do admit I think the author did tease XY bonds with XL, (also CX too) with somewhat "romantic" items. But those kind of flattering things cannot be equal up to "being in love". Their relationship with her are certainly not.
The author wrote very dedicated to her main couple in their developing stages of romantic love journey especially in the novel. Theres is no backup to this in writing descriptions of feelings or in their actions. So how could this storytelling development arc become a cover up for something that is not even referred to in this arc at all and also has of its own? I mean theres no hint to "cover up thing".
And also this moon thing, the context in novel never referred it as any person, but only her emotion seeing it. (although in drama it does with Xy mentioning Jing). How could this moon"represents"the person just bcos its presented in the scenen but no referring. Isnt the referred emotion (whom it is for) written is what it represent?
So theres no such "hidden line" plot here. Sorry long reply again.😅 I just hope those who come to watch lyf or read its novel appreciate more on Jing and YaoJing romance. And other characters too. I think this story is fascinating.

Well yes he wants her love not her pity. Its his thinking in the context. Also about XY being a beautiful lady now and princess which he was implying now in chapter 20 as "too good" bcos XY asked him. There no word of "more" there in Jing saying. And again Jing said it with "maybe". Again no lines of "kiss being out of pity" . You are just adding it there. They both completely enjoy the kiss as lovers.
About the moon, XY manifested to be with Jing through her love song to he brightmoon. She said she sang for him.
Jing knew Xy value moonlight so he chose the date. With that so Xy was still hopeful. Her heart still filled with Jing. So she vow to moon. She committed to Jing. We cant say she was not hopeful and willful right when the moon full for her when she was yearning on Jing that night.
The bright moon did shine on them through the dark sky when they left Tushan mansion in chapter50. There is "hope" YaoJing brightly through dark sky.

There no word of "pity" or a line that presenting meaning to that word regarding to that scene in chapter 20. Xiao Yao is accepting him and he is now confident to give in into his desire and in the context implying "selfish" in Jing'thinking bcos he is generally proper guy, but will give in his love. Think you are going to ask how. I will just answer shortly. He said "last time she was too good"..bcos at that time clearly in chapter 14, he was insecure. As he said"selfish" meaning he is only thinking about what he wanted now. The words are implied with "maybe". A real selfish person would never admit about being selfish. And he also added "alluring". Surely it means she's alluring him for now and they did it. I think you cant understand the scene bcos surely the guy is not your fav. its clearly a love scene between 2 who are clearly in love.
As for that moon that is being "cold and lonely" , the scene only have XY thinking of XL, thats exactly feeling the moon has no much hope for XL? it answered to her question of "Did he think about the moon they look at together before".
The scene doesn't have Jing or XY thinking of Jing. Therefore theres no connection to YaoJing in that scene.
Dont include Jing when he is not implied in the scene and dont include XL when he is not impled in the scene.

The knee kiss in chapter 20 ep28 is about Xiao Yao affection, she just answered him with a kiss his body part that shes accepting his injuries. Its not only about "physical intimacy" as of applying physical only but shes accepting his injured body. It definetly applies to emotion accepting his injuries(which might disgusts others but not her) Its her sudden act too and it is a kiss. And the whole chapter 20 dedicated to YaoJing love.
In chapter 43, Xiao Yao did go and hugged XL true form. She is accepting as he is. But u see words are "it isnt about beauty or ugly, it was about being in awe of such power". Does it sounds like anything someone would feel towards someone they were romantically feelings?
But then the story ends with Xiao Yao yearning for Jing.
I will add a little more for this moon thingy I have been seeing in this conversation. I have not see author implying XL to moon at all both in drama &novel. But in drama at least Xy mention of it. According to my interpretation moon represent "hope" for Xy. She sort of feel ease everytime she see the moon. She sang to the moon and pray that she and Jing can be together.
And vowed to it later that whether Jing is with her or not, she was willing to accept the pain.
And no faking stuffs (dont know where they got it) as context imply Xy emotion pain in such long and deep way.

Yes ...bcos he was loyal, but he doesnt question towards whether what they were doing were right or correct (this is just my take). He is just ready to die off with his army. And hes very rigid towards it. Thats what I mean. One way of thinking..but then the author intended him to fulfill bit tragic theme of the story.
But even then he had his fulfillment in life. he did do things good for Xy and stay loyal to his master. I think he passed away with fulfilling feelings. So its not all that full tragic.

Its just that sometimes it cant be helped to feel worry when things are not common ....such as no booting with full casts but Wei and crews only. And not confirmed on casts as well. It just give a feeling of "why". I heard that they were taking breaks and sort of going slow? The director had done movies.I hope his drama is good too. Of course Id like to see the team promote drama since start like some others (some from tencent) arr doing. But of course DSL team is DSL team. I couldn't be demanding much. Its his first drama in 15 months. Im all too support it.

Yes romance is never priority for CX.
He definitely is not suitable for someone like XY whose priority is family and group of people she cared for.
CX is also dominate and he knew her devotions towards him although its not the way he wanted. He s also not considerate of her feelings as well. Guess that i quite dislike him since he ruined xy reputation just to cut from Haoling, so that
she has no where else to go . And i guess his invading of Haoling actually show his ambitions. Xy had to accept him with all.
Its then Xy had to rely her emotions on Jing. Jing was the same kind as her, more of family person type. But he also has this forsight on wilderness which is one of the reason why he supported CX way to throne. But yep in the end he just wants XY and her love. Although its not 100% conventional , his sincerity towards his own feelings and acts and towards Xy finally made him get his happy end overall through all the traumatic things that happened to him.
