Thank u so much! Its really good reading nice&meaningful takes on LYF after not visiting page for so long. Yes I still see lovers but some technique thing to put into the couple for commitment. It has technique on how to put in. So i did not see it as sth that could not be put in if theres no romantic love. But there must be acceptance & no grudge between the two gender who took it. But XL and XY are not lovers. Thats why theres always sth wrong although he used it save her life twice in novel.
XY most of the time never really hate XL athough she's scared of him at times. She knew he had done some nice things for her. Thats why she regreted it and was hurt after knowing he was gone forever and that their final farewell was hurtful. The guy just like to do things behind the scene. Its nice that he is
willing to do something for someone without taking credit (although i still see him taking advantage of her as well especially when it came to attack CX). However, I have a feeling he was super rigid to his loyality. Thinking one way XY must not attach to him.. denial on their bond at all costs, and thinking it as the best way for them to stay as enemy. In here that i find him a bit immature (before psycho aggressive at
times too). If he had made his good feelings known to XY, disregarding of his duty for loyalty, that would be less tragic and wrap up well for his bond with XY. I do not he was sacrificing for Xy at all. He was sacrificing for his loyalty and also wish Xy good perhaps in sadist way.His decision to me is immature.

thats unpopular opinion of him.

The cutting of proposal scene could be bcos of budget. But does it makes bcos its cut fl doesnt love her lover? No way. Theres many line and showing of Xy love towards Jing. Much less and not even one sadness for not going into such relationship on the other. Jing loves XY who loves him so where is that of jing loving woman that love another man.? None.

This 42 year thing again lol. Dont know why they want to use it as excuse as XY delaying marriage bcos XY was not "sure" of it! No way its a completely clear writing in novel she felt bad about enjoying her life with Jing when without her CX could be lonely. And its clear Jing was her happiness. (She withered and regret this later). And she was really into medical research for the good of wilderness (thats the same goal with her mother which King Xiyan was refering to. Really its weird
to take the two as same when the story is
complete different.) Theres no single line about doubt Xy love for Jing. In drama ver she delay it for Jing. (under CX persuasion) as it might be "bothering" Jing with his duties as Tushan leader.
Those years are gone bcos of Xiyan and Haoling fight as well. How will she hold marriage when the war broke/conflicts between her two elder beloved
men. And yes I could only take this 42 years as to make YaoJing bond even strong before official commitment. You see it never fades away.

So far for now. Theres no personal attack at all. We are just making judgement on interpretations reguarding the story.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 are u serious Yes Xiyan King did mentioned Xiao Yao being similar to her mother who studied medicine and spread her knowledge across the wilderness and Xiao Yao is doing the same but doing more research adding more to original in a more easy way so normally people can cured in inexpensive way. Its this compassion that Xi Yan king was meaning. Theres not a line on chapters on XiYan king doubt on Xiao Yao love Jing. And really those are two stories that can be read separately. Tone is different
Why have mother love story have to be counted as same for daughter. Lyf did not tell A Heng story..especially in this context its clear this XiYan king was seeing Xy compassion.
You can still missed the whole plot during those 42 years. So just concerned with yourself about this missing point.

Yes she delay the wedding at first bcos iof her bond with CX (she felt CXneeded her and her marriage would make them a bit apart. So she was just buying.) and it only lasts to 42 years bcos the war between . You really dismissed this info. But theres no purpose in XY to kept it that long.
The writer wrote it just to develop a strong and proper ideal cp through time and made him introduced

Let me tell U. Not every couple had their first
night on wedding night. Especially because she
wont be meetingthem in longtime again. I dont need to read her other novels. Other stories just other stories and not this one. We all know YaoJing is married and sexually attracted to each other. The whole chapter 20 is on them, and the most intimate scene in lyf. No denying of their actions and feelings in every word described. The author did not write smut for her couple here. Its another level. I mean she kept things mostly proper here. It made sense many couple in real life did not have it on that night after busy wedding party . There is nothing to be pissed here. YaoJing has many days and nights ahead.

Yes Jing and Xiao Yao love grew by time. I mean she loves him more and more as story progress. Actually in drama, she did give Jing her flower pounch twice. Somehow I saw it as a love token lol. She did actually confess she loved Jing. I know that anti jing disregard it but it is though. It is the line "I like you" but in here it means romantic love to a man. Its not lousy usage of word "love" like a more pure pure most online romance novel. Bcos the nature is just different.
I dont know how can anyone think its surface when she suffered her heartbreak for 10 years. Yes her trip to ocean with FFB did some distraction for her insomnia. Its for a short time. And Jing was always there in her heart and shes not really healed until she reunited with Jing. Crystal ball is beautiful. But as u can see it mostly represents their trip under ocean, and her urge SOS to it. But when once she got back with Jing, her heart absolute fine and happy
again with Jing. Another time she lost Jing again, she went into 4 days sleep. Her body is fine but she wished this loss to just be a dream. She suffered her yearning heartache for years. (Naturally just repeat singing her love song for him). In the context, I understand it as XY character growth bcos she's no longer running away from her own emotion but commit to it. (I did not once see her long in such a way for XL).
Yes XY was very devasted at XL. (I this was sad this level at other losses too. Very different from the one for Jing which is more like losing the one who gave her emotional life). The tragedy is that XL never really accept their bond (in which XL thought its better she has no attach to it). As for this mirror thing , i cannot get why some think any related to romantic stuffs. I see she kept memories there. She even let Jing record Ffyy&Hou scheme with it. Isnt it clear XL just cut out any memories she had him. ( I mean in our gallary , do we only keep our crush pic). So this association with mirror and romance is just completely weird. For me. As for why Jing was not in the mirror, situation was never that needing to keep memory. As of this context i take it as he was not memory but reality that going to be with her in the end.
By the way, Xiao Yao was sad bcos XL was dead and bcos he never accepted her although they had good some memory together before.
I will add this little more about bug. Think about it both CX and XL got it but not Jing. If lover bug was only meant to be shared
by lovers, then both CX & XL must be her lovers? I know some are going insists its only XL then that its really and permanantly planted. In context its clearly shown/written that this reason is because XL whole heartedly took it.
Think about it in common sense to what that old man said about how this paired of bugs can be shared between lovers only. Would it be appropriate if its shared between non lovers
when you feel the emotion of another person or your feelings and emotions known by third man. Including another man feel what u are doing with your hubby in bed too. Very inappropriate. Thats why. I could not see other reason at all. And the old man only saying whats in legend not that he really completely know this bug was created for saving lives in original. Since its life and emotion connected who will shared it with those whom they don't love? (Xiao Yao didnt know this for long time, she only take it as poisonuous bugs for long time and used it for protection)

Jing and Yao love grow
just naturally and was fully committed by end.
As for why the story is still only called "not tragic" "not sad", bcos all the characters still losing something. In yaojing case would their family ties. But in overall its still not sad end especially with CP having end up together by end.

I think you should read the novel. They cut alot of Jing and YaoJing scenes
The production I think favored XL in S2. His scenes are shot better. And the way they promote XL and XY, I cant wholly blame those fans. Like the way they make Zi and TJC sang together for cp song, or her wearing red in ep5 Lyf S2. But even that so its so weak to say their love as "the one". I personally did not see it from XY.

I remember the way they blame for Jing taking 15 years from XY. But really isnt it XL who took the bug from her knowing what it is but she doesnt. Saying he did protect her through it is not wrong. But although she raise it WXL not wholly knew what it is. It is bug that connects emotions also. Knowing her inner emotion is never inappropriate thing. Or do they think its appropriate? Isnt it "manipulating". In one hand he took credit for taking the bug from CX but not letting her know what she did not know. He also tracked down CX alongside with by tracking the bug too.
Are they always about this mask thingy idea to blame others that they dislike....bcos its their fav ways of doing things....not Jing ways.
(Im not saying all things are bad. However, cant deny its still manipulating and one way of thinking while looking "cool"? .
As for being passive?, i guess they just dont want to understand Xy together with Jing try to solve problem together. And in novel he s the key in making Xy meeting her mom. The journey only consisted on YaoJing and Haoling King.
About jumping ship. Its a rare thing. Many shiqi fans stay as jing fans.
Those who probably jump? Well I can only think that they dont actually like Shiqi to be love interest from start. I feel maybe they are too stick with this ..... tension(I dont find the right word yet) as stereotype for fl love interest, which is not here. Or else they just disappointed he did not go dark
or do things in chaos like their fav?. And those gaslight blames on Jing are just "their bitter disappointments" but not really the character Jing.

Jing hired XL bcos he is "friend" of XY, who can talk to her. Not him whom had no chance and was sick. (Even if inside he didnt really want to let her but he is willing let her go bcos he knew well xy and fenglong are not compatible) ..I dont know what this guy XL is thinking...his fans claimed he appeared in front of Jing so Jing can asked that of him ..like really which fortune teller god had told him that. What if Jing didnt ask loool. Maybe he just want to test something. Put aside that I guess his fans never
understand about "giving own choices", but this dominate thing is "good". If i have to put it still in good for him. He is doing what he think is good. But not opening way for her to decide in good term.

Well hes such a "cool guy" who did it to benefits both XY and his Chenrong soldiers. And i guess it just added more flavour for his character fans to enjoy this thrill doing that in chaos.

Yes Im always happy to see especially those who appreciate of Jing character. A character who did things in gentle approach in not harsh cut way. But LYF is very layers with character building. And we do really feel for them.

Kekeke ....I dont mind if thats the liking of a character in truthful way. I mean they dont have make the sacrifice one in all like XL dies for her bla bla. NO! He dies for his loyalty. It's so clear both in novel and drama.
And they always claims he is always there. NO! Well yes he is there for her at times but no not the one who is most there for her. His actions are questionable.
I mean he made use of her to support his side too. Thats partly why he acted as accepted that bug. He did made use of that to track of her bcos shes with CX. So how can we say hes one who theres for her most no way.
Jing is the one who doesnt use her for other benefits. He is just a man in love

XL is not a bad man. He certainly has good feelings for XY. Yes he did things for XY (+taking advantage at times). But i
still found it as
more of
friendship then.
And its bcos he clearly not accept it which is actually one of
his tragedy too.

With others I dont know, they didnt chose her first. She is not sad they did. I just like the way Jing opened Xiao Yao heart. And in the end Xiao Yao learnt to deal with being left alone. I love that Jing is still in her heart whether he was alive or dead. The last person she thought before almost becoming Royal Mother was Jing. Its very sweet in novel.

Its all shown clearly shes turned on by him since early on. But she has abandoned issues before so shes trying to deny what she feels for TSJ, but she couldnt resist kekeke He looked so refined that Xiao Yao thought he will leave her when the times. she was so prepared. yet she still want to dirt him to be down at earth so hes with her and not out of her reach. She did act on him to test him. If shes really not having feeling for him what urge might drive her to do those things.

They really have problems with his every single move. Very true. Back then Jing was bashed strongly for his dying with Xiao Yao in maze. Mock him for being coma bcos of it. Really! They are so blind to even see he's pouring all his energy into her. He definetly not only crying. Its funny how they think he should be rational on such situation. On such situation are they all rational to know what to do? if not must be bashed being weak? And super over prasied on other 2 who helped her afterwards bcos they had chance. But had they given all yet. NO. Theres someone who talked on Jing also taking advantage of Xiao Yao too as to not to blame. All he did is sinerely wanting love from Xiao Yao, theres nothing about him taking advantage from her for other benefits. Why not so if you are wanting love and be with someone you love and action to towards it, you must wrong and selfish person? Do they all considered themselves that? Yes the other two help Xiao Yao bcos chances fall on them but if they dont why would we even consider them have good feelings towards her. And about this donkey i dont know what is meant by it. I have a little conflicted feelings with Duke Ping Jing guy. But i guess hes still ruthless anyway. Its fine the way he ended up in drama. The nature in their place is just that rough.
