Title Knock Out
It's easy to spot naive people who have never been in tough situations like Keen's. These people have never faced…
@Luciddd I know, some of these commenters are so irritating and dumb. I try my best not to lose my cool on this platform, but it's difficult sometimes, because generally, I know I am a nice person, but I am not afraid to call people out and respond in turn. These jokers here are annoying the F*ck outta me. Did they not watch the same show, Knock Out? Did they not see Keen get brutally beaten 3 times in the first episode, see him identify his father's body, miss out on an important job interview because of said beating, and have his home ransacked by violent debt collectors all in the span of a short period of time? Thun wasn't very empathetic in the beginning, and Keen was desperate and blindsided by his life taking a 180 turn into a shitstorm. He's young, alone, scared, and desperate, and what he did wasn't even that bad. Selfish, but not the worst thing someone has done. Plus, once he was informed of the history between Thun and Typhoon, he felt immediate guilt and did try to make it right. He's naive but also new to the boxing world and doesn't know all the rules and dynamics yet, so people need to stop being so catty and quick to judge! Give Keen a break, give him a grace period, and time to adjust. Yes, I feel for Thun as well, and Keen should have given him some space after their fallout about Typhoon and the fight(s), but desperate times, and LIMITED time calls for desperate measures, guys, pay attention, and take everything into account! Not just the bits and pieces that suit your pseudo-narrative and opinions. Seriously, y'all are tripping with the antagonism towards the protagonist.

I bet you that at least half the people who're shitting on Keen are just Earth fans or salty shippers lol. (No…
@Biscuits2426 Thank you! People bitching in this comment section about Keen while boasting that Thun has more chemistry with Typhoon is full of BS. How is Keen so unlikeable given his current and dire situation that was CLEARLY shown to the audience MULTIPLE times in MULTIPLE, brutal and violent ways, mind you, but Typhoon is a more suitable and attractive match even though, the whole time he has been shown, he's been nothing but uncommunicative, jealous, resentful, fake, and bitter towards Thun. He acted like a friend to Thun but never felt happy for him during his victories and probably despised him behind his back, yet he is more desirable to him? Give me an effing break! Y'all just ship them because they look similar in physicality, and that kind of pairing, in theory, would be hot. I could see it in an alternate world, possibly if Typhoon were a better person and deserving of Thun. But not now, so get over it already! Plus, this show isn't that similar to Jack and Joker, a lot of shows sample or are inspired and similar in plot from other shows, so, again, why are so many of you acting a fool? You think Jack and Joker are the first show to involve a down-on-his-luck protagonist working for debt collectors? Be realistic! And those of you dropping the show after the first episode can leave, no one here will miss you and your judgment. You have your tastes, and it clearly doesn't belong here. There's no need to announce it because no one cares if you drop it; it's just irritating. I can't stand people who don't give shows a proper chance for whatever BULL and then feel the need to tell everyone, like BYE!! πŸ‘‹πŸ½

lol, why?
Pit Babe 2 isn't bad. I don't know what people's expectations were, but we are lucky and should be grateful we got a season 2 considering how rare they are for BL shows. I don't get what's so cringe about it and why people are so harsh. Some people are loving it, some just like it, and clearly, others hate it, idk. We all have differing opinions, but I truly don't understand why people are hating so hard, this early on. At least allow the show to pass it's halfway point before judging so drastically, come on.

whoever wrote the script REALLY hates Akin because i swear they made him cry literally every single episode like…
Apparently he suffers a lot in the manga and anime too so I suppose the screenwriters are staying true to the source material in that aspect. I never read the manga and I watched the anime years ago and don't remember much, so I could be wrong, but that's just my take on why Akin cries so much. Regardless, he may cry a lot but at least every time he does, the reason are valid and interwoven into the story well. It makes sense why Akin cries on so many occasions, and not just for random, dramatic effect. Hopefully in season two, he and Jin will be an out and proud power couple πŸ‘‘ taking on the industry and especially Sigma's dirty, cheating ass together, with less tears and more fighting/confidence involved.

I really enjoyed the finale. But I'm annoyed that we still don't know who Jade's mystery man is. Why the secrecy and buildup? We seriously have to wait for season 2 to find out his identity? For some reason, I keep picturing LYKN's Hong as LIT. Toey and Hong would look so HOT together, and I can already imagine their physical chemistry. But of course, that is just complete wishful thinking πŸ˜‹. It was a sweet finale, but I was expecting a bit more pizazz due to it being, well, a finale and all. And I was really hoping Jin and Akin would finally come out as an official couple to the world, especially since they were voted together to be the sexiest men of 2023, and got married. We didn't get a wedding from them, not that we needed one, but that revelation would have been nice to see. I wish Touch and Sigma had gotten their well-deserved comeuppance for their evilness against Akin, but oh well. I guess it's realistic that nothing happened to them, other than Touch's guilt. Overall, most of us here agree that Top Form is one of THE BEST BLs out there, other than the negative minor group of haters, nitpickers, or think they know best or know everything, and are too mature for this show, and that their word is law viewers πŸ™„πŸ˜‘. Anyways, again, great show. Congrats to SmartBoom, Director Boss, and the rest of the Top Form Team! I can't wait for season 2, we'd better get one! πŸ₯°πŸ€©

Can we please be careful with making comments on ep 10? Please put them in spoiler. Many will not watch with fast…
Im sorry you are getting spoilers and I understand your POV regarding them completely because I hate them too. But speak for yourself. I love the fast track, at least for shows as good as Top Form where you can skip ahead to the next episode because you can't wait. Clearly, a lot of people enjoy the fast track too. And We TV is a business, it's not necessarily greed since they are capitalizing on an extremely popular show and the price isn't that expensive for fast track episodes, at least not for most people depending on the currency ig. Plus, there's always the illegal websites for viewing too. I like the fast track and hope they keep it going for the good shows, but I can see why you don't.

I really enjoyed the episode a lot. I was kinda surprised at the NC scenes. I really like them, but it felt like…
Thank you! They are grown men in a healthy, stable relationship who are crazy in love. Of course they are gonna have a lot of s*x. As is their "momma and papa" pet names for each other. I think the names are actually kind of cute and work for them. But as for the NC scenes, if you don't wanna watch them, then skip it, but I don't want to hear anyone say the love scenes are excessive or unnecessary because we all know there will be a lot more where that came from. Plus, I hope no one compares this to any other BL. Let Pit Babe be its own show and have its own identify.

It's a good start to the series, and I'm looking forward to the rest. I thought the fight scenes were choreographed and filmed decently enough, although honestly, the pacing of this episode was a bit slow at times. It seems Nu has improved on his acting over the years, which is great to see. And I can understand where some commenters are coming from regarding Zee's acting, even though I think he always does a fine job. Although he could be more expressive and emote more, even if his character is supposed to be broody, sexy, and mysterious. Micro-expressions/gestures and body language count for something, you know? Moving on, Kenneth's friend group was enjoyable enough. I found it nice that they were all clearly foreigners, too. Although it would have been nice and more realistic if at least one of them had been a local Brit. Speaking of which, where was Kim Goodburn when they filmed this? Was he not available? He would have been perfect to play Paul since he's Thai and British, and I think he's an independent actor. Anyways, I am highly optimistic that TNP will get better as more episodes air. On to the next!

Neither of them are sleeping around. They are in a committed relationship with one another and only sleep with each other. As for the storyline, it's about the two leads trying to establish and navigate their passionate relationship, in secret, in a toxic, hyper-focused industry. The characters are flawed (especially Akin), because nothing is picture perfect, and no relationship is, nor are they meant to be. But that is what makes the viewing experience more fun and complex. The two MLs are hot AF, are deeply in love with one another, and are in a relationship. And people, in committed relationships who are in love have a lot of sex. So ya, it's not unusual to get a lot of NC scenes. At least with Top Form, they are done tastefully and with meaning. If the plot isn't as story-driven then oh well. I can see your point of view. But this show really is in a whole other league than other BLs over the last few years, there is no denying that.

I'm confused about Ep 8 and 9.Ep 8 - After Touch got the thumbdrive from the sasaeng, why did he secretly meet…
I'm with you πŸ’― on this. I was a bit confused as well because I also thought Akin's face was displayed clear as day. But then in later photos, his face is blurred, and they even state you can't see who's in the photos, so I'm also scratching my head. I'll have to rewatch to be sure regarding what was said about the photos. As for Jade and his mystery lover, I am intrigued, but I also agree with you on that as well. We are almost finished this season, so I don't know why Lit is shrouded in mystery. Maybe they are saving him for the finale? Maybe Akin has history with him that we as the audience aren't yet aware of yet? There has to be a good reason. I'm nervous for his arrival, but I'm also cautiously optimistic.

Episode 9 was really good, and I do completely understand why Akin thought he had to protect Jin and Jin's career, which is blooming, prospering, and still in its early stages. However, I am irritated. After episode 7, at this point, I do wish Akin held a bit more trust in Jin and his relationship with him. For me, it kind of cheapens the progress made in the last two episodes since he so easily resorted back to breaking things off with Jin, yet again, to deal with the scandal on his own. If they are going to build a life together, then he needs to meet Jin halfway and learn to communicate all the good and bad of both his professional and personal life. They need to work TOGETHER. Be in a partnership. Every time the going gets tough, Akin goes running. It's pretty exhausting at this point, and it's like we get one step forward and two steps back regarding their relationship. I guess that's okay, though, because Akin is clearly an emotionally flawed character, and it's not supposed to be all cakewalk, roses, and sunshine all the time. But still. Are we going to get some concrete development by the finale when it comes to his emotional maturity? I feel sorry for Jin sometimes because, as much as I LOVE the two of them together, his mentality is strong and he has proven to Akin time and time again that he can and always will be there to support him and their relationship both privately and publicly. For better or for worse is real for these two. I just wish Akin would finally trust him.

On a side note, some continuity errors in this episode bothered/confused me. For example, didn't Akin leave the necklace (AGAIN) on the nightstand after their love scene? So how come he is wearing it later on while having dinner with Sine's family, and again when talking about marriage with Sine's wife? Did I miss something?

No, you two are the stupid dumb AF ones. All I said was to be considerate of others. You don't know who did or didn't watch the trailer, and it doesn't matter regardless. So using the trailer to excuse yourselves of spoiling and insulting me in the process speaks to your characters along with your bullying tones. Get over yourselves. You're not worth my time. But your worth being called out petty itches. Byyee

Spoilers! wtf?
1st, I'm not rage baiting, there's literally spoiler tags or a reason πŸ™„. Second, I came here wanting to see if the show was good hoping people would be decent enough to comment without spoiling. Obviously, that was my mistake because y'all ain't. Third, I watched the trailer some time ago, so I guess I forgot what happened to Kong. For all I know, it was the MC's new love interest who died and the entire series will be told through a flashback. Ergo, Y'all are SPOILING. Regardless, I scrolled through the first few comments with you people not putting spoiler tags and immediately left, so ya I'm calling you out for it, and no, that doesn't me I'm rage baiting or some shit. Why would I try to bait you to rage? What nonsense. But nice trying to bait me. And of course people can comment on this platform. That's what it's for. But be considerate of others like the people who do use spoiler tags. Hun.
