are you high? like what even is this comment, 1) where has it said Ponds character is straight? or any sexuality,…
THANK YOU! SOMEONE WITH BRAINS! I have been reading this LONG-ASS comment thread, and you are the only one, THE ONLY ONE with common sense, speaking about what's actually relevant and important regarding Pond's character in regards to his role and relevancy to the show! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Why is everyone else so predictable, and turning this into a melodrama that doesn't need to exist??!

SOOO SEASON 2 CONFIRMED ?????
As much as I wish there were, I highly doubt it. From what I have seen on literally ALL he social media platforms, but especially on MDL for the Cut and Uncut pages, there are just too may complaining, whiny, toxic, stick up their coochies, negative nellies out there that hate on the show. Some have valid reasons but others go overboard with the hating due to the show or actors not meeting their unrealistic expectations or unreasonably high standards. But after this special episode came out, now everyone is singing their praises and wants a season 2? Especially when most probably watched it illegally? Ok 🙄😑. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinions, and I too have fully acknowledge that the this series as a whole does not go without its faults, but objectively speaking, it really wasn't as bad as a lot of bad apples made it out to be. As many people and myself have mentioned before, season one left a lot of holes and there is a lot of plot left to explore regarding Ozone + his fiancé, the mom + that whole predicament, Wim+Jin, and otherworldly Phus and Cirs, . Season 2 could redeem the writers and give us the closure most of us didn't get in season one. However, I could be wrong and I hope I am. They have a whole fan meet tour coming up so maybe a season 2 announcement is in the cards because seriously, the finale, and now the special episode does setup for second season. No one can deny they didn't do that on purpose.

hm... I dont think so. they are really different to me. for example payu does not curse/swear unlike cir.cir also…
Plus, Phayu is also way flirtier. Ponytail Cir can be cute, and he certainly has a soft-side but he is no Phayu. They have different vibes and different kinds of confidence.

OK, so I did just watch this special episode, and I believe there are different writers for each episode of the OG series (I'd have to go back and check) because this one is a vast improvement and deserves to be called the overall standout IMHP.

The NC scene was indeed great (I wasn't expecting it), Otherworldly Phu and Cir were cute, but I wish we saw more of their relationship development. It's true that their ending is very open-ended and practically begs for a season 2. ForthNut was trying to compete with BossNoeul with their Makeout scene. Who knew they had that in them??? I also wasn't even expecting to see OG Phu and Cir, so another pleasant surprise. 🤭

The pacing of the ep was good, and the writing was good. I like Boss as this Cirrus from Ep.8 and was happy we got to see him more fleshed out. He was cute when he smiled, and when we saw his softer side around nerdy, shy Phu -- OG Phu brought that out of him and opened the door for nerdy Phu. I did wish otherworldy Cir told his Phu about his dreams of his counterpart and experience with the other Phu. That would have been interesting. On a side note, in the second universe, Jin can read Wim's mind but he can't in the OG universe? Why?? That's strange.

Overall, this special episode was really good, and it satisfied me. It could open as a backdoor pilot for a season 2 seeing as there is still so much plot left to explore, such as, the conclusive story of the special episode's Phu and Cir, more on Ozone and his situatuation with his mother and fiance, an exploration into the lives of more Phu and Cir variants, backstory of Blackshirt Cir and his Phu, Cir's turn as the Educator in the White Room, the development of Jin & Wim's relationship and an explanation on why he can read minds in the first place? Maybe we could get new faces with uncomplicated "gifts" (That's just wishful thinking on my end; it's completely unnecessary).

I still stand by my original comment in this forum about the writers not utilizing the parallel worlds to its full potential and leaving a lot of plot holes, unnecessary filler, and cringeworthy singing scenes (Forgive me Boss)during the OG series' last few episodes, but this special episode compensated a bit for those blunders and makes me hopeful for a season two that definitely seems plausible has a lot of potential.

I agree. This should have been a mini movie seeing as they haven't even met yet. Is it worth paying for?
Great. Thanks for the answer, though! I'm Canadian, too, and will be paying in CAD if I decide to purchase. What's with the open-ended or downright bad endings, though? I did enjoy the series overall, and I'll always love BossNoeul, but the ending did sour the show's prestige for me, which was pretty disappointing. It left something to be desired because they didn't utilize the parallel universes as well as they could and should have. 😖.

I'm not saying they had to go overboard with them or make their inclusion overly complicated, but they teased the parallel universes and the other Phu's and Cirs all season, yet we barely got to see them, and there was next to no utilization or resolution regarding them.

Cir could have easily used the parallel universes as his excuse/reasoning for knowing so many intimate details about Phu, but they instead chose to throw that out the window and go the stalker route in the guise of him being Phu's secret "guardian angel" protector from afar? It was a waste. The parallel universes weren't even relevant or needed by the finale, so what was the point in the end? 🤔🤨

Anyway, I didn't mean to rant, lol. I just got heated thinking about the series again, and now about this so-called special episode. I'm frustrated they left the special episode's ending open. Why couldn't it be conclusive? Are we going to get more stories with the other variants? Yes or no? I doubt it 😑😒.

MeMindY is beginning to really annoy me with their constant carrot-dangling and money-grabbing ways. Like, enough already; it's ridiculous at this point! 😤😮‍💨

Sorry I’m not the Lilly comment you’re looking for, but I can say I agree with your points from the perspective…
To be fair, this show from the get-go was never advertised as a serious thriller. So if that's what you were expecting or wanting, you set yourself up for failure and wasted your own time. If you watched the trailer, or, even based on the show's opening theme sequence, you can easily ascertain that this show is meant to be flashy, campy, flamboyant, color-vibrant and fun.

You're not supposed to take it too seriously, but if that's what you are interested in, then respect to you. But I don't think it's fair to call the show bad or silly and judge it because it didn't meet your expectations, when it was always honest and transparent about what the show was meant to be. If this particular show were more serious, then it would have been too somber for most audiences, and the tone wouldn't match with the established current aesthetic.

Like I said, this show is supposed to be fun and it has flair. Could it have had more serious moments, action, better-choreographed fight scenes/shootouts, and a more fleshed-out script? Yes, because no production is flawless. But for what this series was trying to be and for who the characters were and how they were portrayed by the actors, I think everyone did a great job and pulled it off quite nicely despite a few nitpicks. I can respect your opinion, of course, but this is just mine. No hard feelings.

It's supposed to be about separate variants of themselves in another world meeting and falling in love. It's about another/different Phu and Cir love story, the story of the Cir and Phu that is introduced in episode 8.

WARNING! THIS COMMENT MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

This first episode was unexpectedly really funny. I loved the RealHia scenes whenever Real would become a lovesick bafoon whenever he was with and around Hia, and Hia would be done with him. So good! They remind me of Fang and Tan from We Are and Khem and Thong from The Sign haha😚🤭.

I also loved the chase scene with Joy. The group looked like mafia gangsters, all threatening towards her when she was booking it to spill the birthday tea to Type after overhearing their secret. I don't blame them for not wanting those two blabbermouths to know about Teerak's birthdate surprise, so their "hunt" for Joy was super entertaining to watch. Let's not forget about Muenfa's evil Joker-like (🤡😈) smirk when he finally cornered her.

That gagged me lol 😂😂😂. This first episode was cutsey, fluffy, uncomplicated, simple, and buttery fun! I'm excited for the next episode 🥰

Unfortunately, after Mike's most recent interview, I may drop this because with this pilot trailer he and his production team definitely made the show look like it would be a action thriller with some romance sprinkled in but it turns out it will be a romantic comedy? I'm utterly confused and I feel so misled.

In the interview, Mike even looked semi-confused that everyone thought the show would be dark-themed and gritty, because tonal-wise and aesthetically, that's what they gave us. but according to him, that's not the case.

Even the poster gives us those vibes, right? So what the hell is he going on about? Is he trying to gaslight us or something? He also said he "only showed the stressful stuff" in the trailer so that's why it's looks the way it does, and I'm like, "what?" 🤨 Why would you do that? You are selling something and leading us to believe you will deliver something that isn't your actual intention, thus misleading us with the final product.

I can't say I'm not disappointed because I was desperately looking forward to a modern, vampire-melodrama, action-flick reminiscent of the recently rebooted Interview with The Vampire television show (which is glorious in every imaginable btw). Is that really too much to ask for? Not everything Thai has to be a rom-com - especially when concerning the vampire sub-genre. Gah! Vampires are still "in", especially since they're more of a niche genre nowadays. And don't even get me started concerning the drama on the actors who are leaving.

I am well aware there are many bumps along the road during all stages of production, but I have to wonder if this show is even being made still? I wish everyone involved all the best, but I no longer think this particular vamp show is for me. Just make a dark, gritty, gothic romance with action, adventure, backstabbing and blood sucking and everything is Gucci! It can't be that hard to understand when everyone keeps asking for it.

Haha, fair. Or maybe just get better eye contacts? Something more natural looking? Again, I think they look ok, but I can totally understand why you feel differently. Idk, because trying to make him look as close to the source material as possible is something I can respect since a lot of studios forego the small stuff in adaptions which annoys me because those details are important and there for a reason. At least this show is trying and I'm not just talking about only in Asian media too. I don't mean for this to sound like a lecture if it does.

As much as I'm enjoying this, the way Smart is styled keeps throwing me off a bit ngl
Apparently, it's how his character looks in the anime. I think he looks pretty good, even with the eye contacts. But he looks so different compared to when he was in Don't Say No, I keep thinking he's two different people 😅

If you’d actual watch it you’d find out that’s actually not the case at all.
Exactly, I am reading a lot of these comments where so many people are being quick to judge the show without actually paying attention to the screenwriting or plot development, or skipping after the first few episodes, or midway in! How are you supposed to know and understand what is happening if you don't finish it, and then complain about the storyline and your confusion thereafter? Additionally, some people are saying they watched one episode then dropped it, which is fine, but then feel the need to come here and announce it to everyone. I don't want to sound harsh, but who cares if you say you watch one or two episodes in one post, then say you don't like the show at all and are dropping it in another? Again, who cares? If you're gonna drop it, then drop it already, I don't understand the need to announce it to every one.

How much "high production" can they get for a TV show about balancing a relationship while juggling stardom in…
Hi, thank you for saying something because I was actually curious about what the OG commentor had to say. From an objective standpoint, so far the show really does seem to have a higher edge over other BLs production and quality wise. I mean no disrespect to other shows, but this one is is pretty damn good and is on par with JBLs aesthetically, which is very alluring for viewers. All the OG commenter had to say was that the actor were attractive and had good chemistry so I didn't understand where they were coming from so I was curious, but not anymore after they bit my head off over nothing, and acted like they were better than me. It's a TV show. Not a multi-million dollar Netflix produced extravaganza to cater to Hollywood executives, so that's why I was curious as to what more they were expecting from the crew who created and worked on the show from what we've seen so far. Yeesh. Have a cow. Anyways, it's in the past. Thanks again for speaking up ✌️💖😉

Perhaps I saw a different drama than other people, but I ended up dropping this. Hill-Easter: Hill looked bored…
he's not really taking his money. he doesn't need it. it's just his unorthodox way of getting closet to North no matter what. Why? I'm a little confused by that too, but it works for both of them and keeps Johan in North's head both positively and negatively depending on the day, time, and mood. like some characters say in the series, it's Johan's way of "flirting" with North. But if you don't like it, then you don't like it and that's respectful. Don't wait your time. But regrettably, It's your loss cuz it is a good show 🤭
