I'm confused about Ep 8 and 9.Ep 8 - After Touch got the thumbdrive from the sasaeng, why did he secretly meet…
I'm with you 💯 on this. I was a bit confused as well because I also thought Akin's face was displayed clear as day. But then in later photos, his face is blurred, and they even state you can't see who's in the photos, so I'm also scratching my head. I'll have to rewatch to be sure regarding what was said about the photos. As for Jade and his mystery lover, I am intrigued, but I also agree with you on that as well. We are almost finished this season, so I don't know why Lit is shrouded in mystery. Maybe they are saving him for the finale? Maybe Akin has history with him that we as the audience aren't yet aware of yet? There has to be a good reason. I'm nervous for his arrival, but I'm also cautiously optimistic.

Episode 9 was really good, and I do completely understand why Akin thought he had to protect Jin and Jin's career, which is blooming, prospering, and still in its early stages. However, I am irritated. After episode 7, at this point, I do wish Akin held a bit more trust in Jin and his relationship with him. For me, it kind of cheapens the progress made in the last two episodes since he so easily resorted back to breaking things off with Jin, yet again, to deal with the scandal on his own. If they are going to build a life together, then he needs to meet Jin halfway and learn to communicate all the good and bad of both his professional and personal life. They need to work TOGETHER. Be in a partnership. Every time the going gets tough, Akin goes running. It's pretty exhausting at this point, and it's like we get one step forward and two steps back regarding their relationship. I guess that's okay, though, because Akin is clearly an emotionally flawed character, and it's not supposed to be all cakewalk, roses, and sunshine all the time. But still. Are we going to get some concrete development by the finale when it comes to his emotional maturity? I feel sorry for Jin sometimes because, as much as I LOVE the two of them together, his mentality is strong and he has proven to Akin time and time again that he can and always will be there to support him and their relationship both privately and publicly. For better or for worse is real for these two. I just wish Akin would finally trust him.

On a side note, some continuity errors in this episode bothered/confused me. For example, didn't Akin leave the necklace (AGAIN) on the nightstand after their love scene? So how come he is wearing it later on while having dinner with Sine's family, and again when talking about marriage with Sine's wife? Did I miss something?

Spoilers! wtf?
No, you two are the stupid dumb AF ones. All I said was to be considerate of others. You don't know who did or didn't watch the trailer, and it doesn't matter regardless. So using the trailer to excuse yourselves of spoiling and insulting me in the process speaks to your characters along with your bullying tones. Get over yourselves. You're not worth my time. But your worth being called out petty itches. Byyee

Spoilers! wtf?
1st, I'm not rage baiting, there's literally spoiler tags or a reason 🙄. Second, I came here wanting to see if the show was good hoping people would be decent enough to comment without spoiling. Obviously, that was my mistake because y'all ain't. Third, I watched the trailer some time ago, so I guess I forgot what happened to Kong. For all I know, it was the MC's new love interest who died and the entire series will be told through a flashback. Ergo, Y'all are SPOILING. Regardless, I scrolled through the first few comments with you people not putting spoiler tags and immediately left, so ya I'm calling you out for it, and no, that doesn't me I'm rage baiting or some shit. Why would I try to bait you to rage? What nonsense. But nice trying to bait me. And of course people can comment on this platform. That's what it's for. But be considerate of others like the people who do use spoiler tags. Hun.

i literally was saying im gonna watch episode 8 later cause i dont wanna rush this series. i think the actors…
I wouldn't be spreading false information. Did the actors actually say there may be a season 2? This show is very popular and beloved by many as you know, so saying there may be a season 2, which is very rare for a BL, is risky if you don't actually know and are unsure. I'm not trying to come at you, but I wouldn't mention anything about a season 2 unless you know for sure the actors or anyone legitimately and actively involved in the show has definitive news about a potential second season.

I would understand letting the matter go to avoid publicity but that angle they went for? Nah. Nope. No fucking…
Agreed! Akin was decent and understanding enough to let her go out of pity and gratitude for her devotion, despite the mess she created for both his and Jin's careers, and it LOOKS like she repays him buy selling him out to Jin's publicist. I'm pissed. We don't know for sure that that's her hand at the end handing off the USB key, but it probably is. Who else's?

WHO WAS THE GUY AT THE END OF EP 8? IS HE A TRAITOR...
Ya, and the younger one looked like one of Jin's publicists. The one who kept asking Akin to guest star in Jin's livestreams. Are they cheating, or fixing the award results somehow? Is Jin's success fake? Is Jin's publicist a traitor? I hope not.

Mame needs help honestly but I doubt if she would accept it. The story was going well but fell off especially…
Snuggle Dust YOU SAID IT! I agree with pretty much everything you said. I hate bullies, I hate toxic stans who bring Noeul down simply to uplift Boss, and I hate that he isn't being professionally challenged or utilized in a way that suits his obvious potential and capabilities. I LOVE Boss too, but really wish more people would give Noeul the due respect and credit he has earned and deserves. He's clearly a hard worker, and I, for one, would love to see BOTH of them, together or individually, in more serious, mature roles as well. If they break their partnership to explore separate professional endeavors, then that would be very sad but also very good for them, as it's true, they shouldn't be glued to one person forever. It isn't sustainable from a business perspective, and it does not help you grow as much as an actor or explore other opportunities outside your ship and agency. I just pray Boss Noeul pulls out a head-turning show-stopper before they part ways while in their peak, prime era. Fingers crossed!

Wow, thanks for the spoiler🤡
I actually found it funny, but they're not the only one talking about content from the manga, and anime, so beware. I have already come across a dozen more spoilers without trying at all. Luckily, I already watched the anime awhile ago, but still. That's why Wonda didn't bother me, but I can see your perspective.

Johnny did SA Akin, just not through penetration. And I agree with you regarding Jin's reaction and his stance as a victim in this whole mess. I don't get why not a lot of people aren't giving him more leeway when they saw for themselves that Jin gave Akin multiple chances to come clean about what happened. Of course, both of them were in heightened emotional states, feeling overwhelmed, and they were still navigating the newness of their unofficial relationship while Jin was trying to reach Akin all night long with no answers. From Jin's perspective, I can totally understand why he was so upset and hurt. I also think Akin gave up way too easily and should have fought harder for Jin, like Jin obviously wanted him to do. Jin didn't need a grand love declaration, but he needed honesty, clarity, and communication from Akin, which he did not receive. Plus, he's been very patient and understanding of Akin's behavior and treatment of him in the past. I know we need to wait and see what actually happens, but I am surprised they get back together so quickly next episode judging by the teaser.

Sorry, as you can see I now put my response under a spoiler tag. I don't like spoilers either, even though, I didn't think what I said at time was a spoiler. Also, you should be careful on this page if you aren't caught up with episodes because this page is riddled with them. And are you calling us clowns? 😂

All of a sudden it got angsty😢🤧💔 Can some spoil it for me, so did Akin actually sleep with that guy,…
As much as he wanted and tried to, I don't think they actually had sex. Nevertheless, Johnny still SAed Akin given the hickeys raking his body. Johnny isn't innocent by any means, regardless of what's been done to him in the industry. In the 2nd teaser, he says every role he's ever gotten was due to cast-couching, as was proven at the beginning of today's episode with that sleazy producer. Guess that's why he was late. I felt kind of sorry for him, but not when he showed he's just as bad and sleazy as the lot of them.

First of all, why is this ep so damn SHORT? We waited a whole week for this? And Jin was barely even in it, only to be heartbroken the majority of the time, he is?! Second, Jin is right; Why does he always have to do all the chasing, pursuing, communicating, and wearing his heart on his sleeves? If they are going to be in a relationship, it has to be a partnership, where it will take two to tango. It has to be balanced; from what I have seen, Jin is holding almost everything together. I can't believe Akin actually walked out of the car. He literally did the bare minimum to explain away the hickey and lied while doing it. Of course, something happened with Johnny, but he could have been honest with Jin. He was probably scared of what Jin would do, react, or what he would think of him, but honesty is best, especially since he was SAed. I was mad at Akin for defaulting back to old habits and running away when the going got tough, therefore invalidating Jin's feelings, but I also understand he probably needed some time and space to sort through his feelings, as he was feeling overwhelmed. Why couldn't Akin communicate that to Jin, though? I don't know. Next week, better make up for this one. I am still waiting for all those fluffy moments from the trailer we have yet to see, and Akin has A LOT of making up to do.

Today's was a great episode. Well, every episode thus far has been great. But we had some much-needed character development from Akin, and now I'm hoping he can be consistently nice to Jin and considerate of his feelings from here on out. I love Jin's unconditional love for Akin and his constant consideration. In episode 6's preview, I love that he was ready to throw hands with Johnny in Akins' defense. 🌟 for soon-to-be boyfriend of the year! I also have come to appreciate the visual appearance of Smart's character. He's biracial, so the grey eye contacts are subtle yet still look natural and eye-catching, at least to me. They stand out only under specific lighting, making the eyes even more charming. I actually really like them. The dude's in costume, and it's in line with his anime counterpart, so I don't know why people keep complaining about his looks 🙄. At least Smart stands out from other characters but still looks absolutely beautiful both in character and out. I do agree with the bangs, though. Why are they so long? I appreciate that we could see Jin's face and eyes majority of this episode. I don't need to talk about Boom since he always looks flawless. I am excited and giddy for the next episode.

I'm kind of disappointed too. I think everyone thought it would be something new, fresh with a darker touch and…
Right? Aesthetically, I was hoping we'd get something in terms of "The Crow" and "Queen of the Damned" with a modern palette sprinkled in.
