DESTINED TO MEET YOU
Beautiful romance drama, it has 7 episodes on Viki with around 30 minutes each episode and it’s guaranteed to leave you satisfied with the ending. Absolutely no break up between this lovely couple.

THE GREATEST LOVE
This will always be one of my favorite rewatched dramas. I can’t count the number of times I was laughing out loud at almost every episode. The ML is hands down one of the most colorful, charismatic, larger-than-life, unforgettable characters I’ve ever come across dramaland. His shenanigans were just hilarious and his chemistry with the FL was very good. If you have seen this, then you know what I’m talking about, if you haven’t watched this yet, don’t miss out on this gem. This is definitely going to lift your mood if you need a boost. As the title hints, the FL turned out to be the ML’s one, greatest love. Happy, satisfying ending which will leave you smiling til the end.

Is there a break up in Oh My General?
Thanks for mentioning this. I’ve watched this before and if I remember correctly there is no break up. They had an arranged marriage and eventually fell in love with each other. The ML underwent character development and from being an immature brat eventually turned into a responsible husband who was able to protect his wife and their child that she was carrying.

Sure, no problem. Please read the spoilers below
There are 35 episodes, I’m not exactly sure but I think Episode 26 they seem to be hugging and kissing already. In Episode 27, I recall the ML already referred to the FL as his girlfriend when he introduced her to the other girl who has liked him for years. I know the ML has been chasing the FL earlier than that.

Sure, no problem. Please read the spoilers below
ML is a young, good-looking plastic surgeon and FL is a smart, confident older woman and the director of an Aesthetics Company. No break up but there were some misunderstandings, fortunately they did not drag too long. ML was jealous of the ex-husband at first but the ex-husband was actually a very nice person and in the long run became a good support for them. ML even asked him for some advise about love once he perceived him as no threat to his relationship with the FL. In one instance they had some issues where the ML felt the FL was not honest enough and did not tell him at first that she has a daughter. But it didn’t take long for him to accept that the FL has a past of which he had no part in whereas she is his first love, first kiss, first everything. Then ML became jealous when someone else tried to pursue the FL, and it was partly her fault for not being able to draw the line at first. The other guy was someone who took over and infused fresh capital into their company so he was in a position of authority and would show up around the FL, call her at all times even when FL is with the ML, and show his interest in her clearly even in front of the ML. But everything was resolved once the FL apologized to the ML for not giving him a clear sense of security in their relationship. But most of the angst stemmed from the other characters. There is the FL’s friend who became jealous of her and threw her under the bus. This “friend” has a cheating husband who became more abusive in the end. There was the FL’s controlling mother, there’s also another female who’s been in love with the ML for years, but she could not be considered a SFL since nothing really big happened, the ML of course rejected her and never thought of her as anything but a younger sister. The FL’s ex-husband also had some issues going on with his second wife, and there were some dramas with their company and clients as well. But everything ended on a happy note for mostly everyone. ML is super cute and talented. It’s Jasper Liu, after all. 😊

MY UNCANNY DESTINYThis drama has 24 episodes with a duration of around 30 minutes each episode. The main couple…
When the ML found out the true identity of the FL, he got so angry and upset because he felt deceived. That was the beginning of Episode 21. But he ran back to her side to save her as soon as he perceived her to be in danger. He couldn’t stay mad at her for long and 15 minutes into the same episode, he was back to smiling tenderly at her. And just like that, they reconciled. Happy ending, with the two having their wedding at the end.

SUMMER IN LOVEIt’s short but sweet….. if you want spoilers, please see below:
It’s a short fantasy drama with 18 episodes, with less than 10 minutes each episode. The story began with the ML and FL living miserable lives having both married different people even though they liked each other and had no love for their partners. They were both filled with regrets and would rather kill themselves than continue living on but instead, they were given a chance to reset back their lives and their outcome was different because they made the right choices this time and they never parted with each other again. It’s well done even though it’s a very short drama and I enjoyed watching it. I loved that the main couple soon found out they both came from the future and they both helped each other so that together, they can change their future for the better. It’s a happy ending for them.

Does this one have a breakup? I don’t think so, but I just wanna be sure
Nothing terribly painful, and it did not drag on, it was only a tiff stemming from the ML’s worry and protectiveness over the FL. They resolved it quickly and never broke up. You shouldn’t miss this one. I highly recommend it. 😊

I just rewatched Strong Woman Do Bong Soon since I haven’t seen it for years and I still enjoyed watching it as I did before. There is also a new drama coming this 2023, it’s Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon. I hope it’s going to be a good one.

Koi To Dangan aka Romance and Bullets aka Dangerous Lover. You can find the spoilers below if you’re looking…
JDramas are way different from Kdramas or Cdramas and this is adapted from Manga. I don’t know if it’s on purpose but the way the actors portrayed their characters really give off that Manga vibe, somewhat like when you’re watching an anime or reading the Manga comics. Others say it’s cheesy but I think it was done brilliantly tongue-in- cheek lol. Oh, and don’t get me started on how steamy some scenes could get. Japan’s censorship is also different from Korea’s or China’s, I think, so if you’re used to the subtle romantic scenes you’re used to in Cdramas/Kdramas, this one is slightly on the borderline of R-rated. No break up, strong main couple who openly express their feelings to each other on everything, be it in or out of bed. ML is very possessive and passionate about the FL, and the girl is just as lost in love for him. The ML’s father couldn’t make the FL leave him, the obssessed, jealous, envious girl couldn’t get in between the leads even as she desperately tries so hard, the FL’s childhood friend who is also in love with her couldn’t take the FL away from her man either. ML even told his love rival that the only way he could take the FL away from him is literally over his dead body even as he dares him to kill him. 9 episodes in total with less than 30 minutes per episode. 😊
