I'm so desperately anxious to see what happens next, and don't understand why the rating is so low compared to some other meh series that just completed. I think the rating should go up based on the excited anticipation we have for the rest of the episodes - which I never felt for the others. This series is one of the few where I got to really care for the characters ....

I sure hope this is true

I'm so focused on the romance and plot, I didn't appreciate the costumes and special effects. It deserves a full re-watch -without distraction of the subtitles- to see the excellent effort in creating a fantasy series that's neither a wuxia nor a xianxia which makes it so unique and enjoyable.

After watching Ep26, I don't like or trust the Wuling sect to be an honourable one. Why would a group of martial masters develop such a cruel way to create a shadow puppet and even more cruel way to "detox" someone with those nails? That Linglong jade needs to be destroyed and such forbidden evil arts outlawed.

I wonder how many people were killed to create that pool of blood that JiNan fell into while trying to rescue his brother? I know evil reject was thrown out, but he stole the methods.

You'd think with all that strength he had secretly gained, he could have pulled her out. And he never did rush to get help did he?

I'm still loving this series. Now if I were Prince Annan, I would kill, in this order:
- evil sorcerer, crazy empress, prince Li, crazy Taijin emperor

Probably would have to exile CP for his betrayal/cowardice (LS may plead for him), and also send Yao king (his brother dead by then?) far far away. The Jade Linglong should be destroyed although the Wuling sect may claim it back.

I hope that Prince Annan will retain his "man in black" powers in addition to his princely fierceness/martial skills

He wants to be Yao emperor? Yukky yukky. I hope the empress kills him instead for even thinking about it wearing the king's clothes

To me that evil reject is vile and disgusting just like the empress - I hate him even more than Prince Li. Hope that MY gets to support LS eventually.

If JinAn lives up to his name, then LS abandoning CP is a distracting strategy. Hopefully he also convinces MoYin to investigate further and to bring him to his senses. Than LS, CP, MY and JinAn can together bring down the evil rulers from both lands. Maybe the astrological event will bring about good and not evil if leveraged by the righteous. So few episodes left though to gain victory ...

I prefer this to the other series with a cold CL and childish FG. At least LS is relatively consistent in her mature outlook and actions with everyone even when under stress and wounded. Had enough of the strong silent male, even Robocop talked, LOL.

My fanfic wish is that Lishuang is found to be a real long lost princess of Taijin, that she marries Jinan and the two countries become one.

What if through his fights with Mo Yin (has some weird powers), Jinan is slowly regaining his memory as Prince Annan? That's why he tested the CP's right hand strength, and offered to be his bodyguard (not only to protect LS but also to assess his country's opponent)? Both countries have dysfunctional rulers who are using evil magic to gain immorality (Taijin) and power (Yao) so they all need to die.

Yes he's pretending to be weak. He didn't collapse when his brother stepped on him into the carriage

Yeah, like why watch something that's so devastating to him? There's millions of series and movies to watch, e.g. Marvel movies

In ep 20:27 Jinan gave the CP that vase and he took it with his right hand, so he's probably healed and using LS et al to get his throne back (but secretly), don't trust him either
