I just love Alen Fang in his desert costume - he can come rescue me anytime!

Yeah, too many "handsome" dumb fellas who are so used to wearing cosmetic moisturizing face masks every day (or unsettling their botox) that they can only do micro expressions instead of really acting. What also irks me is that a person can be stabbed, have arrows in their bodies, punched and kicked several times, then shortly after end up in a beautiful bed with all their perfect makeup and hair and ornaments. In xanxia with all the photoshopping, I can accept this, but in wuxia, the actors need to have enough self-esteem to act "ugly", e.g. they are in disguise as a commoner but stand out like a Dior model.

I absolute love Jeremy. He makes us love him or hate him depending on his role but earning little respect for his talent. Sadly he gets partnered with idol actors or dumb young females so we keep only seeing some quirky portrayal of creepy lover. I really wish they'd give him the opportunity with a decent cast as a ML with a sound plot so he doesn't retire.

If I had no choice, would I prefer to be stabbed or r*ped? That is the question, and the FL did treat PY well with a lot of flattery and lied consistently ... but I prefer Jeremy myself too.

I will be okay with the ending if WZ kills those who hurt his family and PY becomes a just ruler free from his mother's manipulation. One never knows how traumatic it is to have one's family harmed by evil others - the flashbacks haunt us forever until justice is done.

I think Jeremy is at that in-between age where he's too old to play the action hero and too young to play some old shifu, so he gets these odd roles. It's a pity that unlike western actors like Tom Cruise, Kevin Costner and Sean Connery, once you're past 35, you can't be cast to your full potential, sad!

Ep 7: I would have let WZ drown, forget the darn clay cat!

The little girl on the swing is Ashu and Yuan Mo's daughter in the garden of the home that Yuan Mo bought (and Ashu then bought). Wouldn't it be nice if they moved there permanently and Yanle became a part of Yong!

Although I enjoyed the "journey" of each person, I'm uncomfortable with the ending. Think that Ah Shu and Yuan Mo don't have the maturity and capability at all to rule Yanle, so despite the seriousness of the revenge killings, have to continue to look at this series as a rom-com to accept the conclusion.

Can't wait! Leo is made for martial arts, wuxia and xanxia. His moves are smooth and lithe, and he is sexy and powerful at the same time. Is there a release date?

Xiang Liu's sacrifices included dying for XY. He didn't defend himself when she shot him with the arrow and was injured. I believe he even let himself lose and die during the battle because he didn't want to end up killing XY's family members and causing her grief. Now that I rethink this, XY didn't deserve XL, he was too good for her - she deserved wimpy sick Jing.

I still believe that one of Xiang Liu's lives/heads lives on as the merman in the orb, forever with XY and will return when TSJ dies . XY will break the doll one day in loneliness as she misses XL her soulmate and discover him again in the crystal ball - LYF Season 3 they will be together living in the sea.

I'm devastated that she didn't choose Xiang Liu, but her heart is too damaged from her past for an exciting fulfilling relationship. This is MY conclusion to the story:

Jing is weak and sickly and will die. Xiang Liu put one of his 9 lives into the merman in the crystal ball. In due time, he will regenerate to his full 9 head dragon form, break out of the crystal and be with Xiao Yao, who in secret cries over the doll and her tears give him life daily because she still only loves him the most.
