Viewers actually did the calculation of screen time for the four main leads. CD & ZSX got 52 minutes of screen…
Wow I can't believe our WuWu cp only got like around 1 ep of screentime tgt, like whaaat?? That's crazy... And to think they got 4 times less screentime in comparison? It makes me so sad bc I was craving for them in the last third of the drama... It was clear that JiLu was more focused on and it sucks bc I wanted to see both cps equally, not one to be the more focused one.

Tbh, I actually thought in the first half they did better in balancing the screentime. The second half was really obvious that it kinda bugged me, as much as I love Tian Jiarui. I adored the WuWu cp, so to me, it sucked not having enough of them.

And you're right, likeee... How can you make Shiguang the true dragon god and make his arc like this? I was hoping they would do well in focusing on his development as a dragon god but it wasn't really done as well as I had hoped. He wasn't even focused on much. I wanted that tho as the true dragon god he is...

Ngl, even b4 this aired, I always thought Tian Jiarui was playing a Dragon Deity (not even a fake) this whole time so it was quite a plot twist for me that he wasn't actually a true one lol. I think once they revealed to us that Shiguang was the true dragon god, the focus on him should've been bigger. It would've been nice but oh well.

Ngl, I even praised this drama for balancing out the screentime but lol it became worse over time. I should've known this would happen. I am nervous for future dramas tho I still look forward to them bc they're my style oof.

I even heard Joseph gets only about 3 minutes of screentime per ep (for the most part)? Is that true? How didn't I notice it esp in the first half tho... This is crazy esp billed as a main lead...

Wait but how much of this screentime is actually across the drama? I'm curious about throughout the entire thing how much they appeared. It is clearly noticeable tho that in the last third there was less focus on WuWu unfortunately.

atp idk which cp I love mosttttttbut I feel like all the comments are about LWY & JLI really enjoy the interactions…
Tbh me neither. I love both. But I do have to admit I was craving for more of WuWu. This could be bc they got less screentime in the last third of the drama. Most of the focus was on JiLu which ngl made me sad only bc the WuWu cp was sidelined :( But then I did feel it getting a bit repetitive with JiLu which did get tiring for me but I still adore them. :)

Yeah I am aware and it's unfortunate. I've been waiting for these BL adapted dramas tbh. Also I think you will love the relationships in FoF, esp the bond btw the MLs :)

Fangs of Fortune! Sorry I forgot to say out the full name skdjsks but tbh out of the non-BL (including censored) dramas this one feels the most BL to me!

Lemme share short videos of the two MLs!

Funny and teasing

Beautiful and emotional

As for censorship, well, TGCF is a danmei, and they are stricter with these. They are still strict with these kind of bromances tho that yry to make it look like BL. How FoF one passed censorship? Idk tbh bc it feels like a love story btw the MLs, tho there is also a FL (so that could be one of the reasons). Anyways we do love to joke about it being a polyamory tbh LOL the drama where u can ship almost anyone with someone else (out of the youngsters in the cast)!

I have to say FoF is on another level (they're both part of a love triangle with Neo Hou's character there - we joke about it but it feels like it anyway so likeee) so I rec trying it after maybe hehe in this one I always felt it was one-sided with Li Jie lol.

Lijie was so happy that the person he protected all his life was alive and hugged him.The thousand years old Jiling…
Dang that person just makes me smh seeing their comments... Even if I'm into BL or bromance or whatever, you can't deny the beautiful relationship of JiLu!

And yeah, Li Jie seeing Ji Ling and then hugging him after losing him initially makes the scene so much more beautiful and emotional! πŸ₯Ή

What's the problem with that hug? Like friends or brothers can't hug? πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… Mentioning censorship in this…
Well idk... I thought guys can't hug in dramas even when they have a lover, like for instance, not even FoF had one despite the beautiful relationship btw the MLs 😭 Sorry for mentioning it and giving u the wrong impression in my comment... I was just surprised bc yeah, censorship is even strict with such simple things lol... So I thought it was nice they finally allowed it! You can see that it makes these kinds of scenes more emotional!

I didn't expect the hug?? I was so shocked bc they always censor this type of thing... That scene got me emotional esp with the way Li Jie looked at him. Omg, tbh, as much as I love the two cps, Yanan and Tian Jiarui and the relationships of their different characters are the highlight for me in this drama! 🫢

Not sure what you mean by "taken away". Jiling reads and absorbs the memories of his puppet every time…
This makes sense. Thanks for the explanation! I think I get it now!

Just finished ep 23 and omg stop (don't spoil anything from ep 24 pls)... Even if all this time it felt like Li Jie, I couldn't help have my suspicions that it could be Yuan Wuhuo... But then it felt too much like him so I was wondering if he was just unconscious inside the body while Li Jie was the conscious one mainly, where maybe Yuan Wuhuo will eventually take over him, but all this time it was Yuan Wuhuo? He could act like Li Jie this whole time (I'd assume he gained all his memories then)?? Crazy... I miss Li Jie now but it's nice to see Yuan Wuhuo again ngl I couldn't help but laugh when he appeared bc my suspicions were kinda right LOL I hope to see Li Jie back in the end tho 😭

Edit: I still feel like maybe Wuhuo just overtook him eventually... Wonder if they will clearly give us an answer oof

Wuyi removed the memories of puppet Ji Ling one time, all which were memories b4 she met puppet Ji Ling in the drama (like by ep 1 or smth) again, so Ji Ling didn't rmr her upon their "first" meeting bc of this. But Ji Ling still has those memories that were lost. I thought we all knew, like am I misunderstanding smth 😭 I find it strange he has the memories but ig it's bc he isn't also technically puppet Ji Ling? It's confusing lol...

I have been wondering for awhile now how Ji Ling has the memories puppet Ji Ling lost, the ones taken away from Wuyi? It can't be because he's not puppet Ji Ling (bc he technically still is). Whatever happens to puppet Ji Ling would happen to Ji Ling himself, right? So how? Like I thought it would've been interesting to see how he regains those memories but all this time they weren't lost?

Ji Ling and the puppet aren’t truly different individuals, even if they appear in separate bodies. The puppet…
Thanks for sharing. I am like on and off when it comes to both Ji Lings but I have been slowly trying to see them as one while still alr being aware about everything you explained to me :)

As I think about it more one may think puppet Ji Ling is a puppet, but tbh, I could never come to terms to him being Ji Ling himself even if he's a part of him bc of the experiences he alone had in his life. He lived a life. Original Ji Ling had his own too. They had their own separate physical bodies. It's honestly sad to me that all this time puppet Ji Ling was the one that Wuyi loved first oof. I also now thought about how Wuyi is sadly also kind of like a puppet bc of Jiu Ying creating her and even using Di Zhu's face and body for her appearance. And then we also got Yuan Wuhuo and Li Jie who took on the appearance of the real Yuan Wuhuo as well (tbh I still don't even know who they truly are - the butterfly twins in the illusion?). Yuan Wuhuo who has a brother (where it seems even Ji Ling took his appearance when he couldn't save him)... is it really not HIS own brother but the original Yuan Wuhuo who gave him memories? See, look at that. So in the end, puppet Ji Ling's memories are his own when u think about it... Not Ji Ling's since he didn't actually do those himself :( Just like how the original Yuan Wuhuo had his own memories but the Yuan Wuhuo now has those memories (which ig in ways feel like his own?). Anyways, looking at all this, how can we think that the puppet Ji Ling we saw first is only a puppet as if he had no existence when a lot of the characters are in a similar spot 😭 The more I think about, the more sad I feel that he poofed so early as if no one cared about him as a unique individual. :( It makes me have mixed feelings for Ji Ling for discarding puppet Ji Ling like that... Tbh, I wished he let him live.

Oh this makes me even sadder oof... This drama gives me mixed and sad feelings with all the hidden identities of the characters 😭😭
