So....the guy was married and cheating on his wife but the son is mad that the mistress didn't act like a devoted wife and acted like....a mistress? Why?
Ironic I was communicating with another MDL account on how Yoo Ah In has such great talent and chooses diverse…
I admit I do not understand why famous men who harm women there seem to go unpunished but smoking marijuana destroys a career. All I can think is that they do not like or value their women.
I hate his opinions toward women and his own entitlement but he is extremely good at acting and what he does in his private time that harms no others should not affect his work. I do however understand that he is in a career where he is the face of a brand and yes studio's and broadcast companies also have a brand. If it is consumed primarily by families and/or children....recreational drug use being publicly known could result in loss of contracts and work. What I want to know is why for goodness sakes did he do it knowing he gets tested? Is he okay? Is it because there is so much pressure and so little privacy that he needs the mental/emotional escape? I hope that Netflix does not fire him and instead has him do like in hollywood and get counselling and health looked after.
I don't get it. He has the skills for top roles and he has the looks. So why? He prefers plays or does not want fame.....or does not have family connections.....or someone in casting or producing hates him...just why???
I don’t get all the talk about animal abuse, honestly it’s sad to see an animal die but it’s only getting…
It is illegal in Hollywood to harm or kill animals so no, everything on Game of Thrones is special effects and trained animals. Thank you for making our point for us though by bringing up GOT as if that show has the ability to make all that LOOK real to you then why didn't this show do the same thing?
There are countries that also do not punish r*ape so do you think that means they should actually r*ape the actress on film for it to be more realistic to the audience? No. The line we do NOT cross in a civilized society is doing actual harm to entertain. We all know this so please do not gaslight here. It is the creators of film and television JOB to make things appear real without ever actually being real. @infinite mystery is correct that whomever was involved in this decision did not do their job and also committed a crime
This. Exactly this.Too much going on following too many characters creating too much going on making it very hard…
You seem to feel very defensive when we have different experiences and feelings about c-dramas than you. No matter how we feel you want to argue about our feelings. Let it go. Our experience and feelings of c-dramas is just as valid as yours. Please respect ours as we respect yours.
I watch c-historicals too.. my favs (the long ballad, the wind blows from longxi) they really weren't that easy…
This. Exactly this. Too much going on following too many characters creating too much going on making it very hard to get into. K drama pacing easier is made to drop you straight in. That pacing is the same formula as international. So are j-drama pacing. C-drama often takes longer to find it's pacing and reveal what and who the actual story being told is about.
I tried to get into the untamed. I really tried. The pacing, suspense, overall feel is about as different from alchemy of souls as possible. Princess agents worked though. If you are going to get into c-dramas be prepared for a cast of charachters whose story arcs all get followed for a whole lot of time and episodes. Also for a lot of extra and repeat experiences of your main leads that does not move the story along or world build at all. The costumes, cinematography and fight scenes can be really great but finding ones that the entirety is focused on plot and world building only with the same kind of pacing that k and j dramas bring means not all ancient costume c-drama will work for you. And seriously they need to stop using peoples cute pet dogs as terrifying monsters in c-dramas. I said what I said.
LOL ML totes looks like 16 but a 7 year age gap.....jeeze the way people were complaining I thought she was a middle aged lady. If she isn't old enough to be his aunt then there is no problem.
LOL he chooses Korea because that is the country he was born and grew up in and spent his most formative years. My point was, it seems disrespectful to list him by his secondary citizenship rather than his born citizenship which he obviously chooses as his primary citizenship. 🙄
This picture does not do him justice. The ones from the poster of Affa8rs of a Drama Queen are way better. I would like to see him as the SML and ML in a good quality full length drama.
I think you should see the drama again. This isn’t a stereotype game.
I think you need to read my comment again lol it is not that I did not 'get' the drama rather you did not get my comment. That is okay though as I was trying REALLY hard not to put spoilers in. But you do you boo.
All these writers have been cheated on? Is this all there is in drama land?
Well.....if one lives in a culture more forgiving to men of infidelity then yeah the writers probably see a lot of cheating men. In my own county men are held to a much lower standard in such things so most women will be cheated on. I just hate that it is being presented as normal or reasonable. It is breaking promises given, ingratitude, betrayal, lying, gaslighting and in general very weak character; why is this being portrayed as a reasonable outcome in romance? It needs to be presented to us as what it is, villian behavior. Man or woman, if this happens to a person they are left with deep and lasting wounds.
That's american slang and this is a chinese drama. The title translation is literal
LMAO when Yeezies facts are straight wrong " you missed the point". Naw son, you just ignored the two presented. Lee C's point: Just like when the subs are a mess, it detracts when the title is a mess. That is a straight fact. My point: England and the US are entirely different countries. Calling a British word US slang is ignorant. Then doubling down being all gaslighty and dismissive....yikes. Yeezies point: China does not care about any audience other than that in China. Total BS. Chinese film amd production companies are partnering with Hollywood ones; they are agressively trying to tap into the western market. Case in point A Wandering Earth. Companies want money honey. I find it hard to believe they are actively refusing to make money. But okay.
Why?

And while other stars apologise for things they never even did he didn't even apologise for the words and upset.
But okay, if you like the bad boy who treats women badly type hey you go on with your bad self but don't be all like "ohhh he said that but they twiiisted it he's not really like that". You get to like him despite that and I get to dislike him because of it.
