I'm feeling the same. I loved the beginning but i'm at ep 28 and it just feels like a push now to get to the end.…
That is exactly it!!! It started so very good and I get to see Lusi and Yang Yang together but.....yeah then the palace drama was so repetitive and the romance focus was suddenly ridiculous and did not work for the characters. Now struggling to stay in it because of Lusi and Yang Yang.
Sadly that's what used to happen in that era. But you should continue she herself punishes him and i found that…
Thank you. If you had not written me that it would forever remain dropped. It still sits very badly with me that she could have stopped him and that his own superiors did not punish him but I will be able to finish because of you.
It's not bad but...it's not great either. Because the cast is fantastic and I love the actors playing the main leads I wanted this to be a lot better than it is. Maybe this is because I did not read the book? By the middle it has become a push to finish because the characters are still dealing with the same issues from the same old adversaries. It's been excruciatingly repetitive that way. The cool fight scenes were at the beginning and by the middle few and far between. Even the romance is....still the same, utterly repetitive. Hopefully it will stop repeating and by the end I will love it so much I forget how boring the repetition was for me.
Lol he looks great in every and any photo of course but his maturity looked so good on him in his last drama I hoped a prfole pic showing that would be so awesome sauce. I hate how they are forced to look young to stay relevant. He has a baby face though so easy for him to look young but he is representing ageless lately like a Boss.
I am just under half way though. I love that they sloly show all the different perspectives of a time/situation including that we ourselves have layers of them. They slowly show us all the different ways one situation is seen by all those who experienced and observed it. Awesome. And now at the end of episode 7 it feels like time fo wrap it all up with all the characters communicating. But there are 9 more episodes so I am scared it is going to be ruined for me with annoying unnecessary back and forth, unrealist8c childish and adding more romantic people into an almost resolved situation. I am scared it is about to be ruined for me or that I will drop in frustration. Advice?
Edit: I stuck it out and very glad I did. This show has a quiet depth throughout with many remainders about perception and growth. Is good but not the usual of big extremes.
The whole life ruined bit just does not work for a 30yo. Like, at all.If she was young and still working on a…
All right y'all I get it you love this and want to defend your delight but my statement still stands; they are eeliberately using the parallels to her mothers teen pregnancy and using the energy of a future cut off before it has begun energy. They are clearly not using the adult dealing with an extremely difficult and unexpected life event and that is my beef. And you all know it. They are not addressing and focusing on any of the very normal issues I agree with you guys on and ONLY playing it off like a teen pregnancy disaster. The original was all the things you said AND a teen pregnancy but they chose to keep the teen pregnancy vibe. It doesn't work. Sorry.
I came here looking for reasons to pick this back up and finish it finally as I am trying to find romantic comedy to binge while waiting for Sh**tting Stars....only to discover overwhelming amount of people dropped it where I got bored too. Those that finished it don't seem to recommend either. What should I watch then?
"Like how do you write a review and rate after litterally watching 2 episodes?"I died laughing. It takes me the…
Riiiiight??? I just decide not to watch if I did not like the first 2 episodes. Would never rate it. It is very sus. I think you called it, someone is trying to tank it out of hate. Maybe his gf dumped him and could not WAIT to watch it. Haters gonna hate.
How come they make these types of short series in a few minutes? When are they broadcast? I do not understand…
I belive they are made for phones so people can catch them on breaks, commutes, that kind of thing on their apps. I would not be surprised if the reason there are suddenly so many and of such low production quality is that broadcasting companies are all trying to get in on the success of short web streaming dramas by making one cheaply and seeing how it does. People seem to really love them (because they have so little time) or really hate them (because they have the time so it just feels interrupted). My first of the was Psychic Princess and I loved it but it was neither cheap or low quality.
The whole life ruined bit just does not work for a 30yo. Like, at all. If she was young and still working on a degree or just about to enter the job market then yes but having a baby at 30 being life ending? What were they thinking???
do people hate these actors or smth? like how do you write a review and rate it after literally watching 2 episodes?…

Hm maybe some people did not like it because what drives the plot are the emotions of all the characters. In the first two episodes we see everyones behaviour but not why. Same as irl. Then they show the characters difficulties. Finally they show the characters emotions and longings. And they start to grow. Next their fears are revealed because yup, hard to grow if fear holds you back. Yes the male lead starts as extremely abusive with a massive superiority complex. But we slowly see him grow. (No he was not a sweetie in disguise he truly was a terrible human). He grows enough to be able to confront past experiences and pain. This has a very realistic representation of inner growth and how sometimes painful while at others liberating it is. But they do not spell it out for you. You have to be able to recognize what you are seeing. Layered over that are the hate to love, betrayals, and intrigue. Yes it is a very slow start, almost as if they paced it like you met and got to know the characters as you would have had you met them in real life. I almost did not make it through that bit. I disliked both the main leads at first but by the middle I cried with them and laughed out loud at their antics. If you prefer unrealistic/childish draaaaama you may find this too slow but if you like to see real growth with a side of laughter.....make it through the beginning and you shall enjoy this.
