I stopped where they had her being abused and her abuser not being punished in any way. This left a very very bad taste in my mouth, as if anyone who wrote and directed that finds it so normal an event in real life that a man is warned and released rather than killed or severely punished. It is my kind of movie but enough with women being violated on screen expeeeeecially if said abusers do not get punished or dead. Nope nope nope and nope!

I wanted to like it but......entitled rich guy gets to bully and just in general be entitled. Never has to grow up, become human, or even value his love interests feelings never mind at least try to understand her. I would have liked it if he had grown as a human. If they had portrayed him learning to understand his gf and valuing her feelings. But a wealthy man able to force and coerce with impunity.....well that hits too close to what happens in real life in Korea no? Except in real life the woman being forced and coerced does not usually fall in love she usually survives. I am sorry to all that loved this but it made me very very uncomfortable. I love the male lead in other roles he is amazing. Fl here was very....face contorting and door mat but loved her as Veronica Park.

Ugh this irritated me the moment she came on screen as well but I could not figure out what it was so just thought "whatever she keeps doing with her face is making it difficult to enjoy the show". I love short and when it's good have zero issues with the vertical. They are great for people too busy to binge. But this is indeed a mess. The first episode looks kind of like someone snuck film from a distance of someone elses production and actors. Blurry, far away, different lighting except when their mfl is on screen. But it still does not feel like a proper production even then. Did they film it while extras on another film set? Just the moments in between? I feel bad for the poor actors having this on their cv. Whoever directed this thinking this looked even slightly okay....*shakes head* How does this have a 7 someone please explain to me.

Completely agree. Set sound over dubbing every time. Dubbing sounds off because it is unnatural studio acoustics no? And when they add super loud step sounds or weird eating and breathing sounds to eating because dubbing actors are adding in their own acting....*facepalm*

It was a strong start for me which means a need for binging. Waiting for episodes was excruciating...until episodes 11/12. By the end of episode 12 I am struggling to continue. I am not enjoying this new twist and THAT scene in 12 made zero sense at all. This just seems like it has taken a bunch of twists to upset and frustrate the viewer, wring more emotion from us, rather than to deepen the story and plot. This always pushes me away instead of drawing me in. I am so disappointed.
Did anyone else feel this way but pushed through to finish the drama?
That synopsis creates more questions than answers. Let me know If I got this right: Puff transmigrated into the book she is reading becoming the books MC Princess Xiulian. To deal with the Prince (her husband or fiance?) she uses her knowledge of the book. To get out of the book and return home she must open the heavenly gate and wait 7 or 79 days. Not she must survive the royal palace all while avoiding sleeping with her new husband.....why they phrase this in the sysopsis that her one goal is 'keeping her virginity' safe..... 🤮
