Alright, need help. I have tried to watch this drama for around 3 - 4 times. Like REALLY TRIED. But the last episode…
SundressSavage is right. If you dont like her dont force yourself. That being said, she is actually a great FL. She grows alot in the story without having any of her neuroses or phobias fixed by love. I hate that trope. Her and the ML develop into a really cool couple.
Which you are entitled to. I like the revenge because she’s using the rules of her time travel to punish her nasty friend and ex: fate is inevitable and doesn’t change. It can only be transferred to another person. What kind of revenge would you find more satisfying?
Some of the personal drama the lead actress dealt with last year when her boyfriend was arrested for financial crimes was being questioned as a witness. This led to reports off and on through the year that she was an accomplice or had sold herself to him for benefits etc. Lots of ugly and unproven rumors.
It all came back up again when a report dropped on 1.15 implying she was his co-conspirator because he used her account as a borrowed name account in his financial schemes.
That was irresponsible journalism because it left out that this isnt new information. It was part of the investigation she helped with as a witness. She’s been charged with no crime. But cancel culture being what it is, some people called for a boycott. Doesnt seem to have taken effect.
This kdrama based on the beloved webtoon. While the webtoon captured my heart with its perfection, the drama left…
Im really sorry that is your experience. Its a sucky feeling when you are disappointed by a drama adaptation of a favorite webtoon.
While your points are totally valid as your opinion, my opinion is I disagree with all of them. Ive read the webtoon too and I’ve enjoyed this adaptation immensely. The acting, themes, and even the changes that expand the material have all been really fun for me.
I think most people who have read the webtoon are either loving this or hating it. Its definitely polarizing. So everyone who has read the webtoon should be prepared to either love or hate this.
It's a good drama though the script writers were clearly inspired by perfect marriage revenge, the similarities…
Actually they werent. The two dramas are based off web novels. MMH was written first. However, the return to the past to take revenge on my scum bag family which usually includes a cheating ex is a genre in its own right in web novels. Neither story stole from each other.
Well she is considered an adult and mom was grooming her as the heir that will take over for her. Its already…
In the book they did think dad was dead for a while before they found him alive. His arc was like FL’s mom’s arc in the drama-where they fled and only found him on their journey around the country to raise money. Mom shut down than as well. Again she thought her husband was dead and was in an environment where she had no contacts. She left it to the kids to forge a way. It may seem unreasonable to us because they were kids but the point the book and drama make is that in their respective areas of expertise these kids are genius level prodigies. Their actions shape an entire nation’s future. Whole point of the story.
Yes and no. I felt their interactions were very romantic due to the emotional intimacy and trust in one another they displayed. Alot of other viewers felt it was lacking because they dont pair off till close to the end and they wanted more overt kiss scenes and I love you conversations, etc. All depends on what you find romantic.
That the transition to a new arc. Alot of people struggled with episode 17-18 but ended up loving the second arc. Third arc is the one that has divided fans. I liked it all.
great acting. loved the series up to ep 12 or so, cried through a few eps, and then dropped after having to skip…
Well she is considered an adult and mom was grooming her as the heir that will take over for her. Its already clear mom and dad didnt think their son was well suited to business and he’s happy to leave that to the FL. He trusts her. The part where mom’s husband died is why mom completely gave up working and left it all to her smart daughter-in-law. She probably wouldnt have handled it that way if her husband lived. It was actually really refreshing yo see someone not holding on to power like a petty waste. She recognized the kids had the right and ability to build their own future just like her father-in-law had recognized her.
It all came back up again when a report dropped on 1.15 implying she was his co-conspirator because he used her account as a borrowed name account in his financial schemes.
