We may have maligned the writer when we mocked the truck of doom. In the webcomic:
The bad ex husband dies in a car wreck of his own making. It was shocking and felt earned (he sucked) but also came out of left field. Making our ML die by truck of doom means now they can explain the ex’s inevitable demise as the ex taking on that fate. Although, the dad saving ML was cool, this fits better with the rule that fate doesn’t change but it can be given to someone else. And building up the ML’s angst about dying because it was out of his hands instead of a choice may add some nice drama. If not overdone.
Did anyone expect Jihyuk to barge into their lunch at the Japanese restaurant when her supervisor wanted to steal…
I think from the previews FL was explaining to ML how fate doesn’t change but it can be transfered. Since he knows he dies in a car accident in ten years he’s probably thinking he cant give that fate to someone else so he’ll die in ten years. In the web comic his death was different and he was saved by a kind of divine intervention. But here its very clever cause I strongly suspect the truck of doom so many of us thought was lazy writing might actually be an inspired twist on the writers part relating to the webcomic end of a different character.
they're making grandpa look like a busniess man in the drama rather than a happy one like in webtoon
Still early days. He’s just investigating his grandson’s background and we all feel thats ominous because of how often an envelope of money arc appears in dramas. But its actually a good set up for what he was in the webcomic: their shipper. Imagine how funny that bait and switch would be in this drama. And at least we get to see him investigate her instead of just popping up and instantly adoring her. The web comic was sweet but felt shallow on that front. Also, I haven't read it but apparently the web-novel had a lot more details. So they may be drawing from that.
*Big Sigh* Are we going to have a love triangle? I just HATE this trope. I don't mind it once in a while, but…
Nope. She and ML end up together quite happily. The ex-SML has an unhappy lonely ending if they follow the webcomic. The high school crush SML falls in love with one of the FLs new friends.
this man is so cute, i need to watch more of his dramas. i loved W but didn't like Romance Is a Bonus Book (which…
My favorites are I hear your voice and while you were sleeping. He’s got a bunch that are awesome. Romance is. Bonus Book is good but kind of slower paced than alot of his other dramas.
TRUCK NIMMMMM Why is truck nim always white? lmfaooooooo
Because it is pure of intention. Its only mission is to enter the story to create a quick dramatic event and than drive off never to be seen until the next drama calls.

It shouldn’t be a real love triangle if they follow the webcomic. More connecting and overcoming some of their teenage trauma. The sml ends up with someone else.
Only on episode 1 but already I don't like the lead characters. Two rich powerful stuck up people. Idk not very…
?? While they are wealthy and arrogant I wouldn't describe them as entitled or condescending which I think is what you meant by stuck up. The wealth doesn’t go away and neither does the arrogance. They are also both quirky, sweet, empathetic and entertaining. If you dont like those types of characters, youd probably be happier not watching.
