I loved it! And the way all the kids supported her and by extension their family was so sweet. Also, Im really looking forward to seeing the parents and a teenage Duo in season 2 because of almost everything in that episode. I know that’ll be more the boys romance as adults but their family is such a huge part of their lives. I want them back.

When did they become them?Because they kept coding everything so long before that first throw him over the shoulder and carry him to the bedroom scene. Was it the ex-never his actual girlfriend? Before that? After that? Was it when SY promised to be there for every holiday till WB gets married. I want clear cut answers! Cause they were flirting a-lot but not like these last few episodes. Also the scene where the cousin interrupts their fight and SY walks off with his belt hanging almost completely off his pants made me laugh so hard.

No idea. With how they are gearing it up Id predict 8-10. But it could go longer.

Very happy. The ML had to cultivate from scratch and they reunite to spend their immortal lives together in the heavens along with their pet one horned deer demon. Man I hope they keep that character.

The budget is smartly applied. Im not sure how high budget it is, but its really good looking.

Personally I like the aesthetic in the clothing. However, thats a personal preference and I agree some do add a bulk to the actors. I have no idea why they made these changes. They dont suck. Its still a good story. Im excited to see where it goes. But it feels much more like someone walked into the writer’s room and said they had to add an unnecessary past connection, the FL can be spunky but not a cynical smart mouth, add an extra SML and make the heaven’s more dangerous with secret plots so its like every other xianxia story. Because that is what sells. :/ The original novel was kind of the anti xianxia which embraced subverting the tropes it did use.

He’s being heavily coded as secretly evil with his mortal life as Prince Ning who was evil in the book. But they may be playing with us to use him as a red-herring.

I was so looking forward to her growing from tiger cub to adult tiger and learning to cultivate. When she finally found the ML it was a year or two later. This version was great but felt very convenient how they just landed as random animals without a very short distance of each other. Even convenient it would have been awesome to watch more.

Did the SFL retain her memories? I was reading her natural attraction to him and being his cousin resulted in a mortal lifespan crush. I do strongly suspect the SML kept his memories.

Did you read something saying there would be no season 2 and/or the main leads are banned? Last I heard S2 is confirmed and the way they’ve aired this is likely to get past any bans.

Its really well done. However, if you are worn out on xianxia because of the trend in BE or confusing open endings, no way to know what this will be. Its changed a-lot from the novel so it could go anyway.
