Not bad but too stretched

İt started off great, and somehow in the middle lost it's charm.
İt's a basic arranged marriage (marry first them fall in love) romance, the most common guilty pleasure genre I believe, and they did a good job with it.

But it is full of cliché, too stretched despite being short drama and utterly unrealistic.

I know it's weird to call a drama "unrealistic", a vertical drama nonetheless, but still it was filled of things that was completely weird.

The whole parent thing was unnecessary, if you want to show bad relationship with strict parent it would be weird to show a whole 10 mins of a child scolding his "strict parent" 😂
Also the ML is probably ET, because in my whole life I've never seen such a sensitive and kind guy, who is that selfless and loving towards someone he barely knows, ever!! They don't exist!! The guy cries and shows his vulnerable side openly and does housework and cooking too, if he isn't an ET then he is probably a Unicorn or something ~

Story generally isn't good but I can't really say This is a flaw, I'm probably just too old for the "handsome prince ML on a white horse who'd come and save Cinderella-like FL" though I'm still too young to be this cynical 😂😂

All I'm saying is, this was a good one, and the good acting made it better, except for some scenes the FL was terrible but overall well acted VD.

I would recommend it if you are a teen or a hopeless romantic, or simply love fairytale love stories.
İt's just, not for me~~

Nice show but with no story

Watch this only if you like the two leads and don't care about anything else

I love Singto and I believe he is an astonishing actor, that is why I started this show despite not being a huge fan of the whole "getting back to your ex" thing. And he didn't disappoint, Kris and Singto carried the whole show, basically because the rest of the cast only appeared scarcely.
So if you like the two leads and enjoy watching them for the sake of watching them, then you will love this.

Aside from that, and after the first few episodes, there is literally nothing going on, just the day to day events of two normal people ( or normal exs) trying to get back together but too proud to admit they still love eachother, so they play cat and mouse, with nothing going on, the series focus is shifted towards everything aside from the show they are making, actually that show is a key part that drives their relationship, not the other way around.

Is it a bad series?? Not really but it has no story, no events, nothing to catch your attention or keep you watching or at least makes you want to reach the end.

So aside from two good leads, this show has nothing to provide ~~

Light and fun

It's a nice light romance drama, I love the two leads together, the FL is so cute and have a very lovely smile.

The story is good, I didn't get the whole families thing but nevertheless it was enjoyable and entertaining.

There is nothing much to say about it tbh, it has less obnoxious characters and they don't appear much which is a plus.

Good but overrated

I have to admit I watched this because of the many edits I've seen for moon baek and because I really love Kim nam gil.
Sadly, it falls short to the mark~

Acting was the only good thing about it, KNG and KYK were great in their roles but the drama tried so hard to be so philosophical which made it lose it's charm halfway through it ~

It revolve around a hypothetical scenario when rules and laws fails us, can we obtain justice with our own hands? Kinda like the batman dilemma.

The end is extremely sugar coated, unnecessarily and unrealistically ~

I am still waiting for that punch

Ok this isn't what I expected, and not in a good way.
This is supposed to be a rom-com, it's more of a sport drama with a rom side story, the beginning was funny and some characters were written literally for comedic relief but somehow in the middle they got too seriously responsible and start giving life lessons.
What I loved about the drama was the FL and how she is so resilient and strong-willed, her whole journey and the lessons we can learn.
Also the importance of moving on, losing a person or being the cause of if is difficult, still we have to eventually move on with our lives.

What I didn't like was literally everything else, the ML character is terrible, I know he's been through a lot but that doesn't give him a pass on the pain he inflicted on others, hurting someone isn't an excuse if you have a sad backstory, the whole time I was waiting for the FL punch to come, yet I was surprised by the bizarre romance, the FL is supposedly different from her mother and sister, she is the mind while they are the heart, but to fall in love with a jerk who used you just because he has a sad past is just too stupid, just make her a hopeless romantic like her mum and I'll believe it. Also where is the punch?? He deserves one even if you fall for him, a deal is a deal!
Also this is supposed to be a rom-com, with sport side genre maybe or even a main one but this is too dramatic, it's about suffering and loss, nothing to laugh about here.
The last 3 EPs or so were all over the place, the whole time skip is just unnecessary, and the ML change of heart towards the FL makes me want to seriously roots for Uba, I'm on the same page with the FL sister on this matter.
Finally, I wouldn't recommend this drama because despite being a good one, it got a little boring by the end, and the story isn't that great anyway also the rom-com is very light and only in the first couple of episodes, the rest is pure sport drama.

Emotional and different

Let me begin by saying that this is not Nevertheless, it's completely different from the source material and I mean the webtoon not the Korean adaptation,
So if you want to watch it because you loved the webtoon/kdrama, you will find something else.

That alone made me rate it less than I intended to, because it's not a direct adaptation, it copied a few elements from the original webtoon and the rest is new.

Now judging the whole thing starting with the changes in the story. Is it bad? Nope, not at all, I dare say it's actually a better story than the original, and if they were brave enough to ignore the source material completely and adjust the story a little, it'd be much better, hell, it'd be perfect.
Alas that it's not the case here, at some point I thought ok this is nevertheless, and in others I thought nope that's new, this state of confusion made me wonder how shall I rate this? Like should I compare it to the source or just ignore it?
To elaborate a little on this, some points that confused me a lot like the lack of attention given to the art, weird I know but they didn't explain what their arts represent, what does it means, I see some scribbles and they say wow! 🤯
Shall I be impressed now? I mean don't get me wrong but I'd appreciate if you explain more, how is this good art, why is this great, what did it represent?
Also the side stories that got disregarded after being completely presented in a very shallow way, if you don't want to show the side stories, don't! And focus only on the main characters story, I was surprised when Osakabe and Hikari disappeared suddenly, Ruki too was gone to give more space for the two leads interactions.
You don't have to burn the candle from both ends, if you can't show a character properly, don't make him a main.

So I believe the story could be much better if they just break free from the webtoon shadow, because them wanting to include elements from the webtoon (like the side stories and the main theme like the butterfly that didn't have any importance or influence on the ML nor did they give a reason of his love for them) was unnecessary.

Now I don't have any other complaints about acting or characters, the things they changed are acceptable and all actors did great.
I also - surprisingly - recommend it, if you are into this romantically melancholic stories and basically haven't read the webtoon.

Good and eye opening

This short 48 mins movie had two sides to show.

The sweet fairy tale side and the harsh realistic one.
Sadly I couldn't see but the latter, which left a slight bitterness after finishing it.

The good side was how important is it to not judge a book by it's cover, and how someone's act can make him look beautiful even if he is the most ridiculous and lame person ever.
There is a chance you'd love someone if you get to know him and gave yourself the chance to really see behind the outer shell.

That been said, the other side shows most YouTubers in a nutshell, the sad reality of our world now and how it changes from having fun to a warzone where you get to do anything and harm anyone for just a few views, and instead of doing something meaningful you lie, deceive and hurt other people, slowly dehumanising yourself.

And before anyone coming at me I know I shouldn't see too much into things and it's just a movie, but it is still so realistic that it's hard to be cool about it.
However, they choose to end it in the fairytale way making everyone good and having a happy ever after.

I still didn't like the other 2 YouTubers friends even if they were not actually bad, the whole deceiving idea is terrible and in a real life it won't end as lovely as it did.

A flower that didn't get to bloom

I can't express how much I loved it, it was very unique and special drama, yet, it didn't feel complete, it felt like a very long preface and stopped right at the first chapter.

I have to say first that I haven't read the source material I know the series adapt a part of a whole, but my opinion relies only on the series, so excuse me if I ignore the whole and focus only on the part adapted.

What I liked about this drama despite the slow pace is the way the story is represented, I totally got immersed in it and wanted to see more, and although I mainly started it because it was a BL, I didn't really care about the lack of romance for the most of it, I also felt robbed of the relationship development as it stopped at a very critical point but that didn't deprive the story from it's charm.
Acting was amazing, I can't believe the two leads are actually that old, they fit their ages pretty well, and they did great job, specially the 30YO Liu Dong Qin, despite applying half a bottle of foundation on his beard area and how obvious it looked but I bought that he is 17.

However, what made me anxious toward the end - beside knowing that I won't find a drama as good after finishing it - is that I knew there won't be enough time to show the relationship and the blossoming romance between them.
And that really left me in a pinch, because I don't know if adapting a small part of the source material and stop the drama at this point on the story and depend on having a second season to tie up loose end is a good idea or not, because second season isn't promised and many problems could arise making it difficult to produce a second season, that been said, i also can't imagine changing and of the episodes to include more of the story as I believe it could take away from the beauty of how it's made.
I mean, ep9 is amazing I had so much fun watching it and despite most of it being a filler, I don't wish to change a thing about it.

Overall I love it as it is, slightly hoping that the plan of having a second season would be true and we will get to see more of them, I really want to see those two boys in love.

I really recommend this, it's one of a kind and very perfectly made.

I don't really know how to rate this ...

Well, first of all, the reason I started this was Woo Bin and Eun Jin, also Steve Noh is a bonus but the story itself and Suzy as the FL made me a little reluctant to start it.

Be that as it may I decided to give it a go, the story is full of tangles and complications, there is a lot happening and too many characters, I don't know if I was bored and just want to end it or I was genuinely entertained and want to keep watching to the end, all I felt is "when will this end?" I wanted to reach the final closure so I kept watching.

The religious reference was the main thing that caused backlash, it's heavily influenced by the Islamic view of Shaitan but it's full of Christians hints too, so you don't even know which religion they wanted to reference which IMO is a really smart move, because it's a work of fiction not a religious adaptation of Satan's story so basically no offence done to neither religions, cause they didn't get the correct story from any of them.

The end of the story was too sugar coated, but it's a Fantasy drama after all, they wanted the illogic happy ending so be it ~~

Acting was fine, Woo Bin was fantastic and I was really happy to see him because i haven't seen him in a drama since forever, my beautiful Eun Jin was great, I think her role was smaller than I expected, I wanted to see more of her and I wish her role was bigger, it was a very insignificant till maybe the last few episodes only, I also wanted to see more interaction with Steve Noh, they literally had 2 scenes together and I loved them more than the leads. I wish to see them in another drama together again.
Suzy was ok-ish... She got better I can notice her improvement in acting but I couldn't help but compare her psychopathic character to Seo Yea-ji in It's ok to not be ok, I mean her acting and chemistry with Woo bin were ok, but I couldn't see her as a psychopath at all, she didn't convince me as a psycho, she doesn't have the look of crazy in her eyes, she just act tough and it doesn't suit her at all, I expected that tbh, and that's why I kept my expectations for her character very low, so I can't say I'm that disappointed.

I would not rewatch it again, not even for Woo Bin or Eun Jin, once was enough, and I won't recommend it because I understand the religious reference may be uncomfortable to some people, and you won't miss much it you skip it tbh ~~

Great show like old dramas

I watched this with my niece, and we both enjoyed it very much, she likes it a little more than I, but we both had fun.

Story is great and enjoyable, cast was spectacular, all characters were great even evil ones, the two leads and Bong su are the best of the best, the 3 characters were amazing and tbh all the class characters were so much fun.

It's humorous, fun and great with a touch of fantasy.

Then why am I only giving this 6.5??
Because it also lacking big deal, the show starts off nice and fun, got boring just after 3 episodes only to pick up the pace for a couple of episodes from mid ep7 to 9... The story has too many plotholes, unnecessarily.
Everything can be solved with a talisman... Bad ghost? Talisman... Evil spirit? Talisman.. Switching fates? Talisman... Hair fall?? Also talisman ... Even at the very last end ... Everything got solved like that *snaps fingers* as if there is no whole 12 episodes of struggles.

So after finishing it and looking back you'd feel like, nah that was too easy I wonder what's all the fuss was about... Also the evil shaman role is kinda stupid, I mean I loved the character and hats off to the actress, but seriously, everything could have been easily solved if they just drugged her or kept her under their watch for a few days or so ~
But noo hohohoo.... They have to let her fxxk everything up then solve it later.

The evil spirit that everyone fears and was wrecking a havoc, is actually the nicest and cutest ever, I loved him even more than the ML, which is kinda stupid too, because if this is what I'm supposed to fear, then you are doing it wrong.

So this was the reason I gave it such rate, but still it was very enjoyable if you just ignore the story and enjoyed the show for the acting and fun characters~~

Good but the story is meh!

While I generally liked it, I can't help but fall asleep in the second half.
Technically it's not the drama's fault that the story is repeated a billion times and I chose it it to end my drama slump -it didn't work, I skimmed through it- but let's be fair, the sex scenes were good, I mean honey as a lube? Yummy 😂 and the two leads were fantastic.

Acting was perfect, I may be slightly biased because I love Boom, watching him gives me joy, nevertheless all actors did great and it's not one of those cringey, bad acted BLs that Thailand is famous for so it's very watchable and enjoyable.

The story is where I struggle, it's not the best and it's very repetitive and boring really, nothing to look forward to, but again that's my personal statement because I have a drama slump as I said and maybe maaaayyyybe if I ever rewatch it at a suitable time I may change my rating.

So, would I suggest it? Sure if you are in your Thai BL phase, that's one of the good options you have.
İs it worth the time? İf you get bored easily maybe you'll skip some parts but overall not extremely boring, you can enjoy it nonetheless ~

Giving this lower rates because as I said it didn't fit my mood ~

A dive into the dark side

A very dark and slightly disturbing story of two lost souls searching for love.

The story is very heavy, it leaves a very bitter aftertaste when you finish it
While the end is very good, the drama itself is so sad.

It's not the darkest I've ever seen and considering this is a Japanese drama I'm totally unsurprised by the story and how disturbing it was in some scenes -the little child scene with the man stripping - yet I slightly regret watching this as it's totally not the type of dramas I'd generally enjoy.

Acting was ok, I loved Kaji the most, he also -surprisingly - provided some comedic relief in some scenes.
Story like I said was too dark, but not bad, you still can enjoy the rest of the day normally after finishing it, or is it just me? ... Ok.

I'd generally not watch it again, nor recommend it but for the sake of the whole experience I'd give it a 3,5 or something ~

Lost it's charm half way through

I was so excited about this because I love the two leads specially HS, sadly it wasn't that great and struggled to not drop it.

Acting :
Ihave to be fair and say that acting-wise it was good, HS was spectacular, the only thing I couldn't stomach was the way Heyri was speaking, it's like a 3 YO child still I understand that it's the way she chose to go with the character so I didn't mind much, and while I like KH I couldn't see anything "in his eyes" the anger or calmness or whatever that he has to show was lost on me, I was only able to see one facial expression all the way, he just can't act with his eyes.
So aside from that I liked the rest of the actors even the annoying ones.

Story:
I don't know what was going on, and not that I didn't understand the story but midway it was all over the place, the way they showed she was not a serious case of DID then bam! She was cured just like that, I hardly could see her taking any meds nor was I convinced by the psychiatrist she was seeing and their conversations felt ridiculous.
Also I couldn't follow through the time, some days I'd be confused like shouldn't they be at work now or whatever? Are they allowed to take so much days off? Specially the days that HO had to stay with EH I and she sleeps for over 13 hours for like 3 days continuously.
Aside from lacking logic big deal, the story got very boring, the more you watch the more you get less excited to finish it, pity it was good at the beginning.

Overall not really bad, what I didn't like was personal preference, some can just not see the things I didn't like or can be easily ignored, yet I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you have patience and don't care much about logic ~

The chronicles of butts

It's a known fact that BOC has ass fetish, so you know you are going to see some bare butts when you watch this.

The reason I didn't want to watch this is I didn't like the story, it's not really my cup of tea but I saw too many edits for the second couple which made me intrigued.

And as I expected, I didn't like it very much, and I ended up with too many things that bothered me

1-where is the comedy? This is supposed to be a romcom as far as I know, yet it's all about politics and power games, if it wasn't for the second couple i wouldn't even dare to call it romantic, well I mean it has romance but not satisfying one, the whole comedy part is put on Mile's shoulder and my man isn't even that funny, I dare say his character was annoying to some extent.

2- what is the role of tanwa? Tanwa is supposed to be the main lead character next to Trin, right?? Nope!! That's not the case, all he did was live a happy go lucky life, seduce a - supposedly - straight man, and piss his dad off. Aside from that he can be completely removed from the cast and the series would still be the same, he contributed nothing to the story aside from being the love interest of Trin and he can easily be replaced by Victor.

3- why isn't Victor one of the main characters? That guy was fantastic, he nailed his role which was big btw, he even appeared more than Tanwa - until you know what happens - he was a better person whose conversation is up to bar with Trin's, and there is a fairly good reason for them to be together, also he and Trin both try to make the other person a better version of himself.

4- the way the solved the whole lert situation! A video? Really?? This has to be the most unreasonable and unrealistic way to prove someone is innocent, better make the bad guy surrender and admit to all his crimes, I wasn't really invested in the riot part but I was waiting to see how will they solve everything and tie all the loose ends.

5-happy end for the wrong couple!! I wish they did the second couple the same courtesy they did the first, alas they didn't and they opted to only keep things fairytale-like for the first but very very realistic to the second, I was fine with the end I wasn't disappointed or anything, this was late 60s so what else can I expect? Happy end for homosexual couple? Don't be ridiculous!

I believe that sums everything up, on the bright side, you can enjoy what BOC can do most, great cinematography, and nice direction, story and character, probably not so much.
I believe after 4mins and this, I won't have any high expectations from BOC anymore...

Good slice of life but lacks logic

I liked this drama but I hated the amount of illogical behaviour from some characters and the unnecessary obscurity of the story.

I know it's discussing a very serious issue here but the way the characters handled the abuse matter is so stupid, providing little to no solutions, none whatsoever to anyone who is involved.
What made things even worse (which is a personal matter but still) was the little kid's behaviour and his mum's lack of brains, I know he is a child and he is a wounded one but he was so spoilt like his mum which made it slightly harder for me to sympathise with them. I'm not saying I didn't wish for them to be happy, it's just that I wasn't particularly moved by their story, I had a straight face all the way.

I still loved Hiroto tho, and his selfless character, slightly annoying but I still loved him so much
The transition in the two brothers relationship at the end is the only thing that made sense to me as it's a necessity to both.

I won't say much because it's not necessary, but imho there are other dramas that handled many serious issues in a better way.
