I think the most heartwarming thing about Zhao You's relationship with TTJ was that he gave him hope. There was another person willing to believe in him the way LSS did. That meant that he was worthy of their trust and faith in him. Which in turn gave him the strength to do what he needed to do.

I'll say LSS and the Ye family (her grandmother, father and brother). They had a very strong bond and the familial warmth was very obvious.

LSS and Qu Xuan Zi. He was such a good father to her and luckily so, because her biological father turned out to be evil and selfish.

Well, we seem to be watching the same dramas, so we definitely have the same taste. 😋

I think if well done, I don't really mind most tropes. The biggest problem with any trope is if it's dragged out, it loses it's impact and becomes annoying. If resolved quickly or in a refreshing way, it can be interesting to watch or add a bit of drama and tension.

Good parents are really hard to find in dramas.

Independent main leads. Main leads that are not defined by the romantic relationship. Fully formed characters where the romance happens naturally and is just part of their journey.
