How long have we been waiting for this to air?

This would have been so perfect to move on from The Starry Love.

I had the same idea. Although I'm a little hesitant, because the novel isn't finished.

I guess it's still fun to spend time with the characters.

She definitely had one of the saddest stories. The trauma that she experienced was too great. It fractured her mind and she could not move on. When a person is so broken that they chose to have the world end just to end their pain, there's no going back. It was too bad. Qing Heng might have helped her heal, but she was too far gone.

Oh no, I would not want to live in the world where the two psychopath end up together. With the power they had, the world would not be worth living in. I do agree, however, that they are match .

Man Man was such a bright spot in this drama.

To be honest I have only seen Dylan in Miss the Dragon and LBFAD. Miss the Dragon wasn't a very good drama in my opinion, but he was not too bad in it. He did do a great job portraying DFQC. I guess there's no way of knowing whether he would have done a good job playing YQ and the other way around, because we'll never get to see it. Either way, it all worked out great.

I wish we had seen them return too. The ending is by no means unsatisfying, but feels a bit incomplete

Well, they didn't actually show them take human form, but based on what the Rain Deity said, they would regain their human form after Yetan was nourished with Chao Feng's blood and Qing Kui with You Qin's. So even though we didn't get to see them regain their human form, they certainly will.

This is what I've been saying since Ding Yun died as well. She is so hellbent on pointing fingers, but they were there to kill the soul shards and in the process almost killed other innocent people. She's a psychopath. She only ever feels her own pain, but can't imagine the pain of others.

I wish they didn't have to kill off Man Man though. That scene was so heartbreaking.

I agree completely. I guess it's hard to imagine after seeing the two actors in the roles and both did a great job portraying their characters.

The scene that we always want to see in Xianxia, but rarely do. I loved it too.

I wish I had the patience to watch it slowly. I just binged the whole drama and now I'm sad it ended.

Well, there have been some rumours, so I would say don't get your hopes up. But I would really like to see a special episode of all of them living their happy lives.

What I love about the ending is that everyone got or will be getting the future that they wanted.

Wudai became the Void King and even though like his father, he's a great warrior, his softer side will balance him out and make him a great and fair ruler. Especially with Lou Luo by his side, who finally got her man.

Qing Heng's abilities were recognized and he became the Heavenly Emperor. In the future, he will hopefully meet his fated Empress and be happy.

Di Lan Jue and Ziwu got married and are having that baby that Yetan was talking about.

With Wudai and Qing Heng taking on the responsibility of ruling, You Qin and Chao Feng will have the peaceful life with Ye Tan and Qing Kui that they have been envisioning for half the drama.

The bond between Ye Tan and Qing Kui was portrayed so beautifully. I was grateful to finally see a strong relationship between sisters for a change.

Agreed. 100%. The Heavenly Emperor and the Void Queen were the two characters I really wished would die and pay for their crimes.

Exactly. I think that's definitely one of the strength of this drama. It's not solely concentrated on the couple and the development of their relationship. There are bonds forming between so many people: bonds of friendship, bonds of family and bonds of love. And all these relationships evolve and change into something very beautiful to see. Chao Feng and You Qin start out with opposing goals, but as the story develops, their goals change and converge. This drama definitely did an amazing job with developing the characters.

Their relationship is definitely adorable. In the beginning, the Emperor seemed to be more comfortable with Chao Feng. He was more comfortable scolding him and treated him like a son-in-law. He felt more hesitant to do the same with You Qin, because of the millennia of respect the Mortal Realm had to show the Heavenly Realm. It was nice to see all of them be comfortable around each other. You Qin and Chao Feng also behave like brothers. They all make a very adorable family.
