That made me laugh more than it should have. Luo Yun Xi looked amazing in all the costumes, but him as the Devil God was absolutely mesmerising.

He does… it’s to kill himself to take down the all in distress way lol
He needed to appear to be a true Devil God so the immortal sects would not hesitate to kill him. He also needed Susu to hate him and let him go so she can ascend to Godhood, because only another God can kill the Devil God. All in all, it worked out exactly like he wanted. Upon closer inspection you'll notice he didn't really do anything evil. The array was the one wreaking havoc and at most he hurt Susu's feelings

This is just my interpretation. Based on the last montage, it looks like Tantai Jin will be able to return/reincarnate and this time without an Evil Bone and maybe even with his own Divine Essence. It looked like part of his spirit is recuperating in the Heart Scale. If this is the part he used to repair the Heart Scale in an earlier episode, that would mean that this part of his spirit contains his kindness, warmth and love for the world. The purest part of his soul. When he's reborn this time around, he will be reborn as a blessing to the world instead of a threat. Susu keeps the Heart Scale, so whenever he returns, they will finally reunite and become the family they were meant to be.

This drama is a 10 for me. Even if the ending would have been sad, it would still be a 10. As it stands, the ending is not even sad at all, so it is disappointing to see the rating gradually fall. Unfortunately, it's subjective and some people rate differently because they focus on different aspects of the drama.

Why is it only rated 8.7? This drama deserves a 9.
The rating gradually went down because of the ending. I'm not sure why people think the ending is bad or sad, because I interpreted it differently. Either way, even if the ending was sad, this drama would still have been a 10 for me.

Hmhm….i want to watch cuz Luo Yunxi but look like not a good drama :)
Even though I admire Luo Yun Xi and he's an absolute joy to watch on screen, I couldn't get passed 9 episodes of this drama. And it took a lot of effort. Luo Yun Xi did a good job with his character and most of the cast was good too, but Chen Yu Qi was unbearable to watch and the story just didn't manage to captivate at all. I really wish this was good, because I rarely and reluctantly drop dramas, but I just couldn't continue.
