But he didn't know that she had feelings. He is waiting for a perfect time to propose her.
But you have to remember when she was pursuing him at first, she was pretending to be someone else, because she was following Campus hunk's advise (not knowing the guy she was pursuing was the same person who was "advising her"). Then it is the opposite: him trying to fix the problem he created. I mean, it is a romcom for a reason 🙃.
I think in the coming episode (16-17) SZ would probably try to get closer to the FL although he would have minimum…
If it follows the book (and so far, for the important scenes, it has with some changes, like it always happens) I don't think it will be too drama-like because if you look at the calendar someone posted in the photos section, there is a heart shape lock in 17 and a kiss emoji in 19, and I already read they become a couple in 18 and their first kiss is in ep 19. BUT! that Marry Me scene is throwing me off because that one is not in the book.
Ok, re: epi 39. I grew up in the Caribbean where hurricanes are the norm. We know to stay put INSIDE when they say it is imminent the sucker is going to hit us. I'd think people in China would be the same with a frigging typhoon (which is another name for hurricane). Like, seriously, WTF with all the people not prepared?
I really cannot understand why the leads had to apologize for their drama and all of the hate I keep seeing in the comments from their own country. I guess Chinese people are very critical of their own. I don't get it. This was a good adaptation from the original novel (I have seen worst, and not made in China. Hollywood has butchered their fair share of good books). Anyway, all of this to say I enjoyed the drama. Were there parts I wished they had added? Sure! Were there parts I wished they had keep it short? Of course! But again, it was an adaptation of a good book.
Also: after reading about 4 Chinese novels, I have to say: apparently Chinese men love to smoke.. a LOT. *snorts*
The fight starts off about the job - SY made a decision about his next steps without discussing it with XQ. But…
I guess having him framed as a traitor like in the novel, was too much for the TV censors... I mean, it implies that FWY had too much of a way in within the military echelons (remembering that Meng dad was in the armed police in the book).
In the new trailer, it showed that Xu Chin is cut… can someone tell me- will this affect her as a Dr? Omg today…
She's a surgeon, so anything happening to her hands could end her career as a surgeon. If you remember in the earthquake, she saved that other doctor's hand but his career as a surgeon ended due to nerve damage.

In the book they became a couple in chp 52 but became intimate in chp 62...
