I was able to find a somewhat better sub at another site. But that was a while ago and can't remember the site's name 🙁. I think it was dramacool.

Now I am wondering if Wei Yan's fall after entering Grandmother's room was an oopsie or scripted. That looked painful. Under a spoiler, just in case for those who are not that far yet.

I am currently watching this and gah, the English subs are killing me., but I am able to follow somewhat what the heck is going on. The ML looks more Spanish than Japanese though.

Which come to think of it the age gap is the same as the characters in the original novel. She is 14 and he is 22. She turns 15 right after marrying.

It could be the age difference between the actors. There is an 8-year difference between LYN and SZ

I didn't like his character in the novel and I am not liking his character in the drama either.

I can appreciate the actor's performance while disliking the character.

That mole under his eye... rawwr

Finally decided to really watch this (as opposed to a video here and there). I gotta say, I didn't really liked Wei Yan in the novel and I don't like him in the drama (so far). I still need to see the whole painting fiasco. (under a spoiler, just in case)

The leads? I adore them.

I haven't really started the series because I want to finish the novel first and finally reached the Wei Yan arc (chapters 23/24). In which episode this is happening? I can see already some changes from videos I have seen (the whole bracelet thing, which is not in the novel). I put this under a spoiler just in case.

Honestly, I haven't had any problems (and I do have a anti virus program). I saw that You Tube has the series up until ep 31, the last time I checked, so there is that.

Is not bad, but it helps to have a popup blocker when watching in that site. Kisskh is how I have been able to watch dramas that are not available on YouTube or only available in IQIYI.

She's like that in the novel, probably worse.
