Thank you so much! I was looking for another drama with the actress, but this kind of behavior puts me off. That…
In "Introverted Boss" his social anxiety seemed to be all about drawing attention to himself. That just seems counter productive to the entire concept of social anxiety. I avoid drawing attention to myself like the plague. Not to mention the fact the show kept trying to push the whole "speaking publicly to an audience" will cure you narrative.
Don't hestitate, just bloody avoid this drama if you do not want to watch a romance between an arsehole who attacks and physically assaults the female lead in the first episode and his designated victim.
I'm on the first episode and the "psychiatrist" already gets on my nerves and makes me considering whether this…
I also have severe social anxiety and have just watched the first episode. That scene at the police station had me wondering why tf the psychiatrist was not arrested and had his license suspended until a full investigation was done (and not for the stabbing, but for the way he flat out assaulted the female lead and prevented her from escaping). The character is full on despicable for me and there is absolutely no redemption that would excuse his behaviour there, so I am dropping it since I guess they are supposed to be the destined pairing.
This is going in my list of Korean Dramas (alongside "Jealousy Incarnate") where they make the male lead so despicable in the first episode there is no redemption possible.
Why the fuck was the psychiatrist not arrested for assault & deprivation of liberty towards the female lead in the first episode? I get that in Korea (according to their dramas) that the police are useless but this happened in a police station. I guess this is gonna be another drama with a nasty selfish man being cured by the love of a good woman. Personally the guy is pretty irredeemable so I am not interested in watching a romance involving a nasty arsehole. sigh
I am not sure why Chiwa has such an issue with the secretary. She seems to be upset that someone who has known him for 7 years knows him better than someone who has known him for a week. Is this a cultural issue and because I am not Japanese, that is why I do not understand it?
Ewww no. He is kinda douchey. He knew she was falling for Hong Ki’s character, knew Hong Ki liked her too, and…
Um, I am on the 14th Episode and have yet to see the main lead actually be likeable, let alone nice to the female lead. So if you think the 2ml is "kinda douchey", but Hong Ki's character is not full on douchey arsehole, I guess your thirst is real. This is just another in a long line of Asian Stockholm Syndrome romances.
Does Joo Eun ever apologise sincerely to Soo Jin? I don't like how Joo Eun treats Soo Jin when they were younger,…
What drama were you watching? Are you sure it was "Oh My Venus"? Or have you confused names. The only person doing any bullying was Soo Jin in the present day. The most younger Joo Eun is guilty of is maybe a little bit of insensitivity. But even then every flashback involving the younger versions showed Joo Eun being nothing but a supportive friend. And you are only on episode 6 and you have drawn out this fantastical interpretation ...
The most forgettable drama I've ever watched. I watched it only 8 or 9 months ago and I literally can't remember…
I am not sure why I watched this, Kim Tae Hee who not only has a tendency to chose to play weak annoying characters, she is also one of those Korean actors/actresses who sucks at acting. I have given up after the 2nd episode and I am sure I will forget all about this show soon.
I really really dislike the Chinese plotpoint of characters speaking to themselves out loud, so they can be overheard. This has a lot of that. At least the Koreans keep the eavesdropping for conversations happening between two people. But overall this is a cute, light and fluffy romcom with an adorable female lead, (though sadly dumber than a doorpost - something normalised in Chinese Dramas).
I agree that having your hard work (and translating/subbing is hard time consuming work) stolen is a frustrating and disappointing affair. Also I am not Hungarian, but thanks for being someone willing to put in the time and effort to translate for others. Cheers.
I am always grateful for the subbers/translators, they do an amazing job. but seriously, your explanation ... I think this is a case of cutting off their nose to spite their face. This is the internet. There is always going to those who take advantage of other peoples work. BUT there would also have been those who were incredibly thankful and willing to support their work. I have to wonder if they started this with an incredible sense of naivety.
It's hard to make out of it. Looks like a happy ending, maybe a neutral ending but not a sad ending. It looks…
I just cannot see how it is a happy ending in any way. He does not remember her. And the only reason he fell for her was because of their shared experience. The "him", she meets at the end seems to be same as he was at the start of the series and that "him" looked down on her (and everyone else). I fail to see how this version of "him" will ever give her a chance. And the ending certainly does not suggest it.
To me the ending was okay. I mean we could not expect a super happy ending after what happened throughout the…
I am not sure it could be considered a happy ending. He does not remember her, and the only reason he fell for her in the first place was because of their shared experience.
There is an annoying issue with one of the actors (and this often happens with all bodyswap dramas/movies). It is the fact that Thomas Tong when he was playing He Zhi Zhou possessed by Shen Xi, played an entirely different character to when Shen Xi was played by Vivian Sung. It was difficult to suspend belief that they were the same character.
I wanted to like this, but the comedy just kept being over the top stupid
Fairly early I think, she is only there for a couple of scenes
the restaurant owner who the manager mistakes for her doctor bfs lover. that episode is the only one she appears in (other than flashbacks). As for her looking different, I think it is just she has a heavy makeup on in this
The drama is actually a fun watch and it hasn't really gotten much serious at any point as far as i've…
To be honest, I feel Shen Xi in He Zhi Zhou's body was doing a lot more to mess up his life from the start. She made absolutely no effort to not stuff up his life, whilst at least He Zhi Zhou in Shen Xi's body made some effort to respect her life.
