My connection was cut per mistake this week and I haven't watched IHYV 15 and 16 yet... don't tell me anything!!!
Yes, it ends next week. :(

I just realized you haven't watched Scent of a Woman. I think it's the kind of drama you may like, very... sensually charged. No gangsters, but one can't always have the full package, lol.
I'm almost finished with Lovers, and while it won't become my favourite drama, I must say the love story is indeed beautiful. I fail to understand some turns here and there, but as you said they don't influence the love story, really. I love everything related to ... San? Kim Nam Gil's character is hilarious, so serious and yet he's always the victim of the weirdest situations, hahaha.
Ah, these soft-hearted gangsters...!
;)
Boa, what a name.
Immediately puts me in the mind of the snake.
LOL, same here.
I don't even know who she is... :P
I wouldn't mind being given a little more details on these people when news about them are published.

If you are in the mood for something serious, then I suggest you try Scent of a Woman, one of the most sensually charged dramas I've seen, The guy is very manly, and despite the serousness of the issue, the drsma is not depressing and it's a very beautiful love story.
Else, you could always watch Lovers, the one I'm watching. The leads are all gangsters, it's like an overdose of testosterone, lol
No cutie pies here.
Last suggestion, The City Hall, if you don't mind Cha Seung Won (I hate him, but that's me).

Thank you very much for recommending Mother. I've read some very good things about it and am intrigued, and now that you say so, I'll definitely try it out. I only have to wait for the Summer to pass, because I'm usually a lot busier in summer than any other season and this is why I usually choose to watch "easy" dramas, things I don't need to use too much brain for, lol.
Of course I don't mind at all your asking about my nick. I know the meaning of amrita in sanskrit and I know it's still a widely used name in India. Unfortunately, I can't boast to be any gods' nectar, nor of being immortal! ;)
I chose this nick for 2 reasons: 1. it contains my real name, which is Rita. 2. it's the title of my favourite novel by Banana Yoshimoto. :)
And may I ask you where from Asia you are? Is Farah your name? :)
Uh, I almost forgot: I'm Italian.

Please, never apologize to me for replying a little late: I'm the queen of late, I'd feel even guiltier than I am, lol.
I hear your voice is truly a lovely drama, very sweet and well characterized. It's not over yet, I hope the last episodes won't ruin and otherwise adorable experience.
Your worries are shared: if this goes on, Dramafever will get the exclusive monopoly on streaming dramas, which I consider scandalous to say the least, since it's an american site and a payment one too. I am downloading all I can, but I can't dl hundred of dramas, nor do I want before I'm sure they are good. Let's hope alternatives will always be available, for anime too.

Hi Farah, thank you so much for your kind words. :) I'm very happy you approve of my review of Soratobu, however I hope you'll decide to write your take of it anyway. I think this is a drama that deserves a little advertising, and what better way than a few well articulated reviews? :D
By the way, I see you are in the process of watching a few dramas right now, but should you ever be in the mood for something slightly similar to Soratobu - in mood, if not in setting - may I suggest you give Osozaki No Himawari a try?
The 2 dramas are different, and yet I can't help comparing them, for some reason. Perhaps it's the simple and yet adorable characters.

Lol, my dear, I wish I could offer you some consolation, but I'm drama orphan too, given the time it takes to sub Summer Nude, IHYV which I started watching when they aired episode 6 and have been banging my head since then (against my husband's head, by the by) and that other drama I'm watching which causes me a headache from a different kind of head-banging: the frustration one. :P
So I suppose you finished Itazura Na Kiss? Did you like it till the end? :)
I'm definitely going to watch the black butler, I'm intrigued by the idea of his wage being "paid in soul". The return of the lost Hiro is an added bonus! ;)
I haven't seen the drama Akumu-chan, so I doubt I'll watch the movie before that - and given the age target, I might just as well skip it altogether, lol.
Don't like horror movies, so the last one is out of my list for sure.
Thanks for the info, Cheer! I look forward for more. :D

Sorry that it's taking me so long to reply, this is not my lucky year in terms of computers: I've sent my brand new one to the "mechanic" because it would switch off while working on it. So I'm stuck with this laptop I hate and, worse of all, I can't download, which means this week is a non drama week - sure I could watch on line, but the whole waiting for the page to load and video in segments gets on my nerves.
This said, I think I will watch the ghost drama too, despite it all. There are only 3 actors out there whom I avoid like the plague because I can't stand: Cha Seung Won (City Hall); Moon Geung Young (Mary Stayed Out) and another Moon - Chae Won (Innocent Man). Since none of those is in the drama, I can even give the Hong sisters a further chance to redeem themselves, lol.
The two gifs in the middle are from Ending Planner and Buzzer Beat respectively. :D

Well then , greetings TO Copenhagen! :D
I think you should actually take the chance and enjoy your holiday without laptop, i-pad and MDL. Taking a break from drama (the virtual one, I mean), can be very refreshing. ;)
I am at episode 6 with Lovers. Indeed, it's NOT my cup of tea, and yet there's something which makes me go on. I understand nothing about the whole triade scenario, the construcion thing, the chinese gang, the land mortgage and all. And there's a little too much testosterone in this for my comfort. However, I want to see the development of this love story, and this is partly due to what you wrote. I'm curious, intrigued and I see what you meant when you talked about an adult relationship, without the usual flowery cuty cute parafernalia. I still like the heroine very much. She's so straighforward and frank.

LOL, I am a secret garden fan, but not a Gentleman's dignity one, so I'm still debating about that writer. And you're right: let's give him a chance. I had the same problem with BoF, she was awful although I think the performance of all was not at all stellar, not even Kim Bum who is otherwise a very, very promising young actor (and a lot handsomer than LMH, I'd add).
The Japanese version, on the other hand, even if based upon a story I can hardly relate to, was awesome in many respects, last but not least the relationship among those 4 guys (their fight on the road was priceless). Makino is a unique character, independent and strong. Even the taiwanese version was better than the korean one, imo. Very cheap, with terrible clothes and some bidimentional screenshots, and yet those characters had substance - if I am making any sense.
Sorry, this ended up as a rant against BoF, lol

If the comparison is with Matsujun, I understand very well why he won over stony LMH. ;) Min Ho is a tall statue, a little wooden in his acting and with too round a face - for my liking. Also, he seems too preoccupied with his looks to jump into a part soul and body. Matsujun, on the other hand, is not perfect or pretty, but has something in him which makes him a very sexy one. And a good actor too. :D

Uh, I think for once I'm also going to go against my principles and watch the new Hong sisters drama when it starts airing. I'm referring to the one where the main female lead sees ghosts. The main male is an actor you like, So Ji Sub. I suppose you have the drama already on your list?
I usually hate the sisters, as you know, but who knows? They may surprise me. I'll give it a try, because I like the main idea.
