this is definitely gonna be one of my favourite youth dramas 😭 the director always does an excellent job in getting the high school vibes !! the friendship and relationships are both amazing and i love the chemistry between the cast !! and the fact that they all trusted each other and supported each other when something bad happened ?? also, the fact that both guys are so different but ill love to have a boyfriend like either of them ? there are also literally things you can learn from all five of them and i love it ! :> not to mention, i love the titles of each episode, the recordings they include at the end as well as the little speech towards the end

this show was a remake of the a 2008 singapore production about the lives of nyonya in sgp,my,ind so naturally it has the vibes but i think it’s slightly different from the original ,feels like they are telling the nyonya story just by putting on their costumes and all that,the cast barely feels nyonya

but im worried about bailus position though…this might Be false but because bailu is unable to deny ,we’ll probably never know if they have dated or not,not that it’s that important … cuz bailu has another drama many are looking forward to and both dramas would most likely air next year,denying of this rumour affects this drama,agreeing affects that drama..she’s in a problematic position …im hoping that everything ends well and the drama turns out great because all the pics shared by the cast so far seems to show their chemistry and good relationship

like what crydollz has replied ,those were their dramas,and for wangxingyue,he played the villain in a show related to the show luomingjie starred as a villain in and i would have loved to see them work together because i think they were both mean to the fl in those dramas ,nevertheless,i appreciate shenyue and chenzheyuan!

Apparently the two of them weren’t supposed to be the leads,was supposed to be hanikezi and wangxingyue but they changed last minute and shenyue and chenzheyuan came to save the show ,im thankful for them 🥹🙏although i would love to see the two villains together …

I think it’s cuz like he recently gained popularity in his other show and he’s a rising star,many actors of this stage tend to have many female girlfriend fans so it’s upsetting ?? the industry’s a little toxic … and there might be people who dislike the female lead too

it’s not annoying,all three of the guys are popular among book fans because they’re very different but equally attractive,there’s one who grew up with the fl who is a very charming young enthusiastic person passionate about fl ,another who is rather cold on the surface but he loves fl deeply and they are each others muse,but the main ml is a dark deep cunning fox who is her teacher and is also very in love with her(personally I like her teacher because they’re the official couple)

Maybe try shows adapted from novels of the same author,her novels are known to be special,different,interesting
the legends,the blue whisper(already aired)
back from the brink,legend shenli ,love you seven times(these three dramas are either still filming or have just finished filming this year )

I wonder why is everything going so slowly like why is this show not allowed to air ?? feels like it’s been long … probably because it’s harder for them to edit when there’s history involved and it isn’t pure fiction ??

It’s definitely a very special summer for all the fans of this show !!

Yea In fact there were many problems getting sponsors because the cast weren’t extremely popular and all that ,but like what the director said ,This group of passionate people will definitely let this project gain the recognition it deserves !! Sincerity is really the key…i remember reading that the male lead only had to interact with the fans of the show for 30 mins but he ended up spending 3 hours commenting and thanking and showing his appreciation to the fans of the show … your hard work will be seen if you’re sincere enough and im sure the fans are more than satisfied with the cast.i think we can feel the love they have for each other too and that definitely contributed to the outcome

I can only say it’s a pity but this can’t be helped …hope there’s some way he can see the results of everything even if he’s not on this world already …

This Show is crazy,everyone is Soo dedicated … the main characters have their own Weibo and there are professionals looking after those accounts,they tend to interact with each other on their accounts (the characters Weibo,not the cast)and then they wrote their own essays after the show finished airing (characters weibo accounts)they even got the voice actors to say their goodbyes to the fans by recording videos of them saying certain lines as the characters they dubbed and all that …like seriously I haven’t watched this show but i feel the sincerity and dedication and ive seen all the joy the cast had on set so that is definitely motivation to watch it

Esther knows what she’s doing !! Apparently she’s a fan of romance novels and dramas so im certain she knows how the kissing would turn out best …she’s got the skills

Yep,many people felt the same,thinking some parts weren’t natural,were rushed and didnt make sense but i guess we shouldn’t expect the new editor to understand the originals editor’s style …he probably had things in mind and everything would Have been better and smoother but death is unavoidable ….i just think its such a pity for the audience and mostly himself

Uhh yea passed on has the same meaning as passed away…I saw it on douyin… you can check the credits when it comes to the page of editors,they’ve boxed up the name to show respect?? It’s not just this show,a cast in another show passed on recently and his name was boxed up so i can confirm the news… its definitely tough because i think the different editors will not have the same train of thoughts and style and all that but ….its just unfortunate i guess since he definitely should gain credit after all his work in the 28 episodes.if im not wrong,i think there was a delay in the airing of this show too because in between they stopped airing for a while or something and im thinking its cuz of the editing problems theyre facing…

apparently the original editor passed on and didnt manage to edit the scenes after episode 28 and ive seen people complaining about the show being less nice …. honestly it’s just so so sad that he can’t watch the show gain recognition and he can’t gain credit ??

Not so soon bro 😭they just finished filming like this year,if they’re super fats with the editing,the show might air by q3/q4 this year but it really all depends
