Everything you can think of in order to drag it and not show any kind of physical intimacy.
I’m not sure which comment you are responding to; but I did not ignore your points. I am responding to a different comment that I can understand and empathize with a character and their feelings. Regardless of how mature Shin is, he still should respect when someone says they don’t want to enter in a relationship. It doesn’t matter why Akira is apprehensive about Shin. Internally Akira wants Shin, but he has to make the decision to take the plunge. This has nothing to do with age, but it’s a necessary respect one must have toward a potential partner.
And yes people CAN be in different places mentally. Akira is not different than many adults who comment that teens have their whole life ahead of them, so don’t settle. In addition Akira asks questions about his life because he realizes that he hasn’t accomplished much. For you their age doesn’t matter, but Akira has mentioned their age gap so it IS a real concern for him. And that IS okay. Just because he doesn’t know where he’s going doesn’t mean he should just accept anything thrown his way. I have no problem with age gaps nor do I have a problem with a teenager in high being interested in an older person. But to accept Shin’s feelings for Akira, but dismiss Amira’s concerns is not fair.
Why am I obsessed with Kim going back to work? I am trying to comprehend how he has missed so many days, and doesn’t feel any anxiety about it. Is the D so good it makes you forget?? Maybe I’ll get my answer next week.
Well all their bl content are adapted from manga and Boys love is actually under the category of shoujo which…
This is a really good point especially in a culture where PDA is minimal. BL has gone through a metamorphosis as it’s being adapted in other countries, and it is adapting to its various audiences. KinnPorsche is a major hit because audiences are getting tired of high school romances. Now they are wanting more adult themes, more hot kissing, and sex. Adding a Mafia tag is the icing on the cake. I’ve seen so many commenters condemning shows because the leads don’t make out. There are definitely times when I get disappointed, but since when does a kiss make or break an entire series? Some of these shows like Mr. Unlucky and My Love Mix-Up don’t need a kiss. Yes teens kiss and have sex, and some don’t. It’s okay to show both sides.
I find it humorous (and frustrating) that audiences get upset when writers of live adaptations don’t stick to the novel. I think writers should have creative freedom to add and remove elements of a story to adapt to their audiences.
As cute as I find this drama. I have to admit I'm growing evermore frustrated with Japanese BLs. On completing…
I’m also curious to know how much the lack of kissing is based on the actors in the shows or are some of these shows written intentionally leaving out a kiss. There are shows that contain multiple couples, but there is only kissing between one of the couples. The Japanese actor Kira Yuki kissed his love interest in HIS and Kimi no Koto Dake Mite Itai. He plays a high schooler in both, and the kisses were very light and brief, but are perfectly acceptable given the story lines. In Make it Right, neither leads have a real kiss (mostly camera angles), but Fuse kisses his girlfriend in the show. Book and Frame not only kiss, but they have sex in multiple scenes. Even in Color Rush, the two leads only touch lips. Cherry Magic had plenty of opportunities for the leads to share a kiss, but it never happens.
I also want to clarify what you mean by intimacy. You can have intimacy without kissing, which I think some of the stories portray. Especially Life Love on the line and Cherry Magic. I think if you look beyond the sexual I do find it odd that characters kiss during the courting stage, but not when they enter in a relationship. Do you think if actors are uncomfortable kissing their screen partners they should be recast?
Everything you can think of in order to drag it and not show any kind of physical intimacy.
Japan is a phenomenon when there are same sex couples. I have seen dark concepts that include SA (Dangerous Drugs of Sex; Double Mints) and lighter conceptsuu that are very PG (Cherry Magic; My Love Mix-Up). Takumi Kun series is one that shows a balance of being in a relationship and has a sexual component. It’s interesting when Japan was the first to explore the BL concept.
It’s like the ones who are penetrated are reduced to infants after intercourse. This happened in cutie pie and It was hard to watch.
Everything you can think of in order to drag it and not show any kind of physical intimacy.
I am dying!!!! As usual you never disappoint. I would be cautious about having a relationship with a person 10 years younger than me simply for the fact that we are in completely different places. This is a major reason I don’t think Akira is being prude or playing hard to get. His concerns are reasonable and something any reasonable person would consider.
Despite Shin being mature, he is still a teenager. Developmentally he is in a different place and that doesn’t change regardless of culture.
Kim’s rebelling against his Big Daddy Gangster Husband. I’m kinda enjoying Kamol whipped over Kim… it’s…
I don’t understand why they constantly portray love interests as infants after they’ve been penetrated. It’s like it’s impossible to be penetrated and have common sense at the same time.
Everything you can think of in order to drag it and not show any kind of physical intimacy.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For this comment. It is so frustrating when people think the laws of their country should and do apply to every other region of the world. And it mostly comes from people in America. They are constantly commenting about the topics of age in BL just because of some misconception that 18 is age of consent. I appreciate you pushing back, and being more open minded. I remember when there was an uproar about the age gap between Thai actors Earth and Santa when there was a rumor they were dating. Thailand has different consent rules than Korea, China, America etc. you don’t have to like it, but respect their freedom to create and follow their own laws.
The reason why their relationship hasn’t progressed is because Akira. There are no consent issues or doubt of feelings, but fear and insecurity is ruling Akira. Their age means nothing, but gives Akira an excuse to stay in his shell.
Kim: Can I go to the partyKamol - No its too dangerous Kim going anyway and getting attacked - 😲 😲 😲…
Kim’s rebelling against his Big Daddy Gangster Husband. I’m kinda enjoying Kamol whipped over Kim… it’s a nice change the more reserved one is being chased.
It started as a UWMA fanfic, a bad one, and then it went in a direction that had nothing to do with the brain.…
I had NO idea this was a DeanPharm fanfic….. mind is blowin up right now. They should never been allowed to produce this under that claim because this is not it. My favorite character is Namning. Although Inhate when they portray women this way, she brought a level of excitement that was missing in the chemistry between actors and plot development. Because she consumed so much of their relationship, Lukchup and Ram had nothing to talk about. It was either about food or Namning…..
About that kiss…..why did Sky need to open his shirt to do it? Such an odd gesture during an equally odd kiss…. Although, Paitong needed a boyfriend to occupy his time…His meddling was starting to irk me.
It’s very minimal. I would say no more than 30 minutes of the entire 10 episodes.
Mouse The Guardian The Lost Tomb (multiples equals) Military Prosecutor Doberman Warrior Baek Dong Soo Two Weeks The Untamed Duoluo Continent Word of Honor Guardians of the Ancient Oath Blood History 3: Trapped Take of the Nine Tailed Hotel Del Luna The Scholar Who Walks the Night Bring it on Ghost The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim Strong Woman Do Bong Soon The Ghost Detective
If you have seen ALL these, I’m afraid I’m tapped out of action lol

I’m not sure how popular these are, but I liked them. These are ones where the action is fight scenes.

Gonna rant about episode 6 ( currently 20 mins in to it) so SPOILER ALERTFirst the kid is selfish. WHY will you…
While I completely understand why you’re so upset with how this was handled, I think it is necessary to remind you that He is a CHILD. Yes children need to take ownership when they make mistakes and he should be punished for cheating. But his father has been treating him as inferior to his younger brother for years, and he just wants love and acceptance. Again, he is a child. You don’t go tell your child to go die regardless of how angry you are. He is the adult and if he can’t empathize with his own son and prioritize family over career, than that’s an entirely different issue. It’s so easy to cast judgement on others. It’s much harder to try to understand why they make decisions and be more aware of how your actions and words impact others.
There are many at fault for happened, but adults need to do better by children. And there are plenty of parents who tell their kids to cheat and feel nothing about it. Look at the 21 kids who are in court. In addition the child may be sensitive, but he is still under a great deal of pressure. If you are not part of an influential family, you may never know the amount of pressure placed on these children. They are viewed as failures when they don’t live up to those expectations. These are different obstacles that regular people don’t face. Most kids want to make their parents proud and it is devastating when they feel there is nothing they can do to win.
You make an excellent point. I think both men and women should be called out for it equally. Criticizing a show because it doesn’t have BL is beyond ridiculous and I am happy someone called the out.
I’ve been watching BL for many years and I started because A. I was sick of the lack of representation in mainstream tv. B. Gays never get a happy ending and they always die. C. They are used as comic relief because the gay man is over exaggerated. I am always cautious that I don’t commit those same faux pas because I teach high schoolers who are gay and transgender. I always worry about offending because I’m not familiar with a concept.
Finally, something happened!!! I knew my intuition wouldn’t desert me this week….Now I see why they rated this one 25+ and want it on OnlyFans…. Praew’s side boob is outstanding.
Jokes aside: Praew has the best acting in this series. Her personality leaves something to be desired, but she fills the role well. I am intrigued to see how her story will continue to progress.
I’m just a passer-by who found this entire exchange hilarious. Highlight of my night. This comment in particular caught my attention. I was with a group of friends and porn came up (casually of course). The guys talked about how they enjoy watching lesbian the most, which was no surprise to us. However, a woman confided that she enjoys gay porn and the amount of outrage and accusations of sexualizing gay men blew my mind. How is there a double standard even when watching porn, when the purpose is to derive sexual pleasure? Aren’t the men also sexualizing gay women? Or am I misunderstanding the meaning of sexualizing and fetishizing? Any thoughts you have are welcome.
