Hahahahahahahahaha preach! I don’t even mind the cheating storyline. I love it especially when there is a “valid” reason to cheat. But these assholes cheat for no good reason. I don’t think I want any of them to have a happy ending unless they redeem themselves fast.

Can you tell me the purpose of the hot tub scene? Nine has a man and a woman, so why is he paying for ass?? I was so confused.

Or it could be because Net and James are a BL couple in “Bed Friend” and “Middleman Love.” I notice when actors who have done BL roles are cast together in a het series, it is assumed it contains a BL element. And when it doesn’t, netizens accuse it of being queer baiting. Or they could be a side couple as Ginkgo pointed out. I’m going for the 1st reason though.

There is something so endearing about Park and Lee’s relationship. Once we learn that Lee feels jealous toward Park because of their past, the sincere love they share toward each other becomes more apparent. Gosh I can’t even imagine the level of internal turmoil they experienced. Park knew the entire time and he could have given up photography, but he handled it with maturity. 7 years is a long time to be with someone and they are written with such realism.

I’m looking forward to seeing where Tim and Mai’s relationship is going to go. I appreciate that Tim doesn’t intentionally take advantage of Mai’s crush, but It is strange Tim is so dependent. I am looking forward to Tim suffering as Mai starts becoming more independent, and I hope the writers don’t make a mess of them.

Adding my two cents. I often see in dramas that only the immediate supervisor typically knows when an officer is undercover to prevent leakage. Also, I think it is the reason why they killed Song Joon Soo and brought him back as Yoon Dong Hoon. To avoid other officers thinking too much of it. Also the detective looking for Ji Woo’s father were from Violent Crimes and not Narcotic. This is me trying to explain away the inconsistency.

Also Ji Woo was a child. Moo Jin and Dong Hoon were friends for at least 10 years. So it makes perfect sense Ji Woo would not know her dad was a cop. He has been undercover since she was a child.

And I thought the highlight was Ice checking Praew for her atrocious behavior. She gives neurotic a new name. I get where she is coming from because her boyfriend is cheating, but damn. Why they always have to paint female characters this way. I wish she would just bust the windows out his car, dig a key into the side his pretty ride, or something vindictive. Her being a desperate psycho is just too much. Ice is the only likable character and he’s been there for 10 minutes.

I guess it depends on your definition of intimate. They don’t have sex, but there is a brief discussion about it.

It’s like these writers forget it is 2022 and there has been a major shift in gender roles in our society. Not just American society, but many other cultures too. And we are talking about gay romance, so the idea of a female character who is not condemned for chasing a man is not far fetched.

Of course not. Those posts are clearly sarcastic. It is ridiculous they make Cherry out to be a villain, but Kamol is a man in love. Is Kamol not doing the exact same thing Cherry is doing? Kamol is harassing Kim after being told to go away and Kim has expressed he isn’t interested. Kamol has shown up to this man’s job and house and is threatening him with bodyguards. But Kamol is relentless and is forcing Kim to give in. Cherry is harassing Kamol after Kamol has clearly told her he isn’t interested, but because Cherry is a woman she deserves more hate?

Sure Kamol is deciding what he wants, but he is also deciding what others want too. Kamol is forcing his obsession on Kim and Cherry is forcing hers on Kamol. At least when Kim was rejected by Day, he respected Day’s decision and didn’t harass him.

And Kamol has the right to decide who is and isn’t good enough for Kim too! Kamol can follow Kim to his home and work place because Kamol knows Kim wants his body. Even though Kim denies it and tells Kamol directly it was a one night stand and nothing more, Kamol is doing whatever it takes to show Kim they are fated!!!! When you are the mafia, you can have what you want.

Kamol is Cherry’s man! How dare Kim come in and snatch Kamol away from her? It doesn’t matter that Kamol doesn’t know he’s taken as long as Cherry knows. She is so devoted to Kamol and makes every attempt to prove she deserves to be by his side. And Kamol is leading her on by playing hard to get. He doesn’t respond to her calls, but what he really means is he wants her to call him more and show up to his house unannounced. And he brings in some 25 year old kid who knows nothing about the business. Kim needs to learn his place in the BL hierarchy. Today you’re a bottom, villainous woman outranks you.

I am dying right now!!!! And I cannot disagree with the majority of your points. There is only one thing I have beef with: how the hell did Checkout get a higher rating than Unforgotten Night???? Lol I would give Check out a lower rating because of the expectations they set with episode 0. I don’t mind a storyline that includes cheating as long as it makes sense in the plot.

Or maybe I’m just so bored this summer almost everything pleases me.

Link please! I don’t see any reviews for this show yet. One issue I do have with it is that they aren’t really following through with the conflicts. I want more drama!!
