They both are great actors! I support their work anytime they have projects because I genuinely like them. Kim Kangmin was definitely in character during the kiss, it’s just the kiss itself looked awkward. Son Woohyun sucked on Kangmin’s closed mouth. Kangmin moved his head, but his lips (arguably the most important part of the kiss) were stiff. On camera it looked odd. In comparison to Semantic Error or Cherry Blossoms After Winter, both couples had more natural looking kisses. They opened their mouths and used their lips during the kiss.

I really hope it turns out this way. I suspect Jiwoo isn’t going to give in so easily.

I really wished the ex was a man. I understand the concept of love knows no gender, but this is just villainizing women. Everyone always has this perception that the woman is conniving and devious and the writers prove it true. As I’m writing this, I can’t think of a single BL where the female ex comes back and doesn’t cause problems. I’m sure there is one.

Agreed! And I love love Jiwoo as the cold-hearted love interest. He pulls it off well and it makes it that more satisfying when he smiles. Since Jiwoo initiated the kiss, It was even more impressive.

Even all the reasons he lists for leaving are fine with me. I’m sure they are going to make Jiwoo self-sacrificial. He had not choice because he was thinking about Seojoon’s career and didn’t want Seojoon to suffer. But I a bit happy like he gives real reasons for leaving. He focused on the fact they aren’t really compatible, and all the thinks he dislikes about Seojoon. This is more realistic and doesn’t feel trope-y. It’s okay to want to break up because of incompatibility. There doesn’t need to be anything more than that.

It may be just me, but the kiss in the first season seemed more authentic. This kiss looked one-sided: Seojoon doing all the lip work and Jiwoo trying to keep up. It reminded me of the kiss from Light On Me. Shinwoo did all the lip work and Taekyung just took it. Despite the stiff lips, it’s nice to see the actors becoming more comfortable kissing the same sex. Fighting!

It was counting down for episode 5 even at 3am (my timezone ) and 3 or 4 hadn’t been released on Viki or Gaga. what timezone does the counter use when it starts it’s countdown?

I’m glad I’m not the only one. This entire first episode felt odd. Nine walked in and Daonuea had that shocked look, it gave me a bit of hope. The ex wanting reconciliation and the blurred lines. The rebounding… I was waiting for something to happen, and it didn’t…. But they did set it up to be a disaster waiting to happen. I was hoping to take a break from KP, but this isn’t much better. I’ll give it a chance though.

Gosh! My Gear, Your Gown. Ugh that entire show was confused about what it wanted to happen.

It burns me when one adult tries to tell another adult “I’m breaking up with because I know what’s best for you.” I’m waiting for a drama where one party tells the other “I’m breaking up with you because I hate that you pop my pimples.”

I loved Be Loved in House. Except the 3rd straight couple. And the ex that comes back in the end. And the ridiculous house rules. And the oddly long stares. And the weird Wayne cameo. And you get the idea.

Oh you know me so well! I’m strangely easy to please, and I really tried hard to like this. But I don’t think I’ll make it through to the end. Maybe I’m asking for too much. There are so many shows that repeat plots and use the same old tropes. But why is this one so bad?The one thing that brought me joy was Aaron and Hank’s cameo.

Definitely didn’t take it as a personal attack. My entire post is a joke. I wish I had as much faith as you that they will resolve things differently. Every couple has a major disaster in the penultimate episode.
