I really don’t understand all the negative comments about episode 10. This was by far the best episode of the entire series!!! I was impressed by the acting of both men of the main couple. They displayed so much emotion that I was brought to tears. And the writing of this series. I’ve never seen such an original script and plot. Why isn’t this writer on more series??? Mandarin is not a language I’m familiar with, but I understood everything in this entire episode no subtitles needed. You know you’re an amazing writer when non-speakers feel fluent. It’s such a shame my electricity will be off from exactly 12-1pm these next two Fridays because I was really looking forward to seeing what the writer has in store for the finale. Ah well.

And what’s worse, didn’t Ji Woo leave him on his birthday in season 1??? Or someone’s birthday. I don’t know what it is about Seo Joon’s birthday, but I wish him happier birthdays in the future.

Gosh I really want to slap everyone (except Porchay). Why does Porsche keep accepting drinks?? He hasn’t learned his lesson from the alcohol induced encounters with this family…. Although I’m happy to see sober Porsche is into Kinn, these last two episodes have been so……exasperating. I get it…. The two leads are hot AF, and their chemistry is off the charts. But DAMN can we get back to why we’re here??? the actual plot.

I assume they are referencing the novel because they have only had 1 interaction. Vegas caught Pete spying. It is so frustrating when users post assuming everyone has read the novel. We should not have to read the novel to understand context of a show. If the show is well written and acted, we get everything we need from the show.

I also want to point out that Type has not only grabbed Tharn by the collar, but he has physically hit him. So Type could have totally prevented the BJ if he wanted to. Is it so wrong to say that Type wanted Tharn to do it? That this was a moment for Type to find out why he found himself becoming more and more attracted to Tharn?
Not all consent has to be:
“Can I give you a BJ?”
“Why yes you can.”
There are times where it fits the story to ask for permission, and other times where it’s better to ask for forgiveness.

I’m probably going to hell for saying this, but why did they make Tommy look like he just came back from doing drugs in the ally behind the shop? After Tommy left, I half expected Tommy to be a ghost that came to help Bada get over his last relationship, and find a new passion in life. And when he came back with that fur coat I almost lost it. He did not look like he finally achieved his dream of producing a successful song (that gets radio time). The theory of the show is refreshing, but the execution not so much. Ah well Something is better than nothing.

Thanks for clarifying. I can understand why people scream toxic, but I have to disagree. I suppose I should consult the experts because I get the toxicity wrong every time. I need to brush up on the definition of toxic since it seems to be thrown around like confetti. Or I could be just an undercover psychopath that relates too well with these toxic characters.

Yes! That’s why I don’t consider Type toxic. I just find his situation ironic. It’s complete BS that his emotional damage is considered toxic especially given his past.

I’m actually glad this series is by MAME….. at least there is a high probability the show won’t be cancelled.

Side note: Cutie Pie completely turned me off of hot men geared up riding Ducatis…… but I’ll probably be back mouth open with a little bit of drool sliding down my chin.

You write facts my friend. For me the major toxic point in TharnType is Type being homophobic, and staying homophobic while dating a man. But I label that as irony over toxic any day. I’m stuck on how Color Rush is toxic…..

I don’t think it’s wrong to say Jiwoo switched his affections from Yuna to Roa. You are right. He did chase after her throughout the entire show, and he started liking Roa after spending more time with him. People seem to have a problem with this premise and I’m not sure why? Or maybe I get it and just disagree.

For me it was when Roa checked on Jiwoo after Jiwoo was threatened. It was quite sincere that Roa sat outside Jiwoo’s door and waited until Jiwoo was ready to accept Roa’s concern. It’s pretty much confirmed in episode 5 when they are in bed together.

I finally had a chance to watch episodes 1-5 in a single sitting and I believe it is clear the two males are catching feelings. Yes, Jiwoo starts off liking Yuna, however, I’m not sure I see the problem with that. This story is presented as a coming of age for Jiwoo and he learns he doesn’t have to just like girls nor does he have to like girls at all.

Yes it was short to develop all the plot lines, but I think I understood the main point. Totally agree with your point there. And recent Thai shows that drag on too long with unnecessary filler (sex) which distracts from the actual love story. I do wish this one was the 8 episode standard for Korea, but well done nonetheless.

I’m pretty sure I can only tolerate Gameplay alongside Jeff. After watching Jeff and Barcode….. I’m so happy they recast Porchay.

If there is one thing I hate more than the heteronormative coupling in a BL series, it is a character who can’t take no for an answer. I love that her behavior is considered cute, while Yuna is terrified and fears for her safety.

Ordinarily, I don’t mind the ML liking a girl first. They were friends before Roa came along. BUT 6 episodes is not enough time to really develop this love story. Korea has been coming out with solid content, so maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

BadPennyGirl please help me!!! Remind me of a series that contains a public proposal, confession, and/or kiss that wasn't cliché, cringe, and/or unnecessary. When I think of public, I mean surrounded by other people to witness the moment. Not when the people just happen to be in a public space.

I love that BL series makes being gay normal, and that everyone is gay. It is why I fell in love with BL series in the beginning.
