Ugh I agree. It reminds me of Why RU? They used sex to fill the lack of plot progression. I would prefer less sex to more Syn and Nuea. They are given the table scraps of scenes when they need the most development.

The debate about SA is such a gray area. If the writers want viewers to have that debate regarding that KinnPorsche moment, there will be something that comes up once Porsche realizes what happened. Can it be argued that Kinn SA Porsche the first time they kissed? Just because someone is under the influence doesn’t mean it eliminates their ability to consent. The writers made a distinction between Porsche’s reaction to Vegas and reaction to Kinn as a way for viewers to see the difference given the context of the show. Shouldn’t Porsche be the decider of whether Kinn’s actions be categorized as SA?

Can I just say that from the original teaser, before the new production company, I loved the scene when they were fighting. Those are the best moments for that type of rough sex scene. That fight scene was pure foreplay. Porsche’s playfulness did seem out of place here, and I get he was drugged, but damn. Kinn’s seriousness kept the entire scene in check. I love this Porsche, but I did love the more serious Porsche from the teaser.

If Vegas kidnaps Pete and there is play involved, I’m here for it. I love how out there Vegas is. and I keep thinking Vegas kidnapped Porsche as retaliation for getting hit with a tray at dinner.

It made my heart sad to see Haebom getting bullied, and no one stepped in for him. Haebom was hit several times and everyone just watched. The minute Taesung throws a punch at said bully, everyone wants to jump in at protect Taesung.

It depends on which scene you’re referencing. Clearly Porsche isn’t consenting with Vegas because Vegas ends up with a bloody mouth.

On the other hand, it is completely consensual with Kinn. Porsche, regardless of sobriety, is aware he is with Kinn. Porsche even recalled the first kiss they shared (while also drunk), and is pushing Kinn’s buttons. Porsche even offers Kinn the opportunity to push the same button. In this particular scene, I don’t question the consent.

In most cases, I do think people care about consent, however, anytime drugs and alcohol are involved, consent can be a gray area. Except in cases of just blatant rape, many people will make it clear they are not interested: pushing hands away or just saying I’m not in the mood if they are sober or borderline intoxicated. If substance use has taken you to a place where you don’t know the person you’re with, there is consent issues. I am definitely not trying to trivialize people’s experience with sexual assault. Those are just my thoughts to your question.

OMG yes!!! The actors did too good of a job portraying their relationship. After watching their relationship unfold, I fell in love with Tarn. I love that Tarn never fully got over Nut, and was incredibly understanding of Nuts situation. I am looking forward to this series ending because my heart can’t take the suspense. Tofu is such a good person and I hope he will have a happy ending.

Yes!!!! Remember when Tofu told Nut that he was the teddy bear? After Nut exploded and punched Tofu, we haven’t heard anything more. But Nut doesn’t believe Tofu and Tofu has given up discussing it. Regardless of the ending, the writers must give us quality even if it’s not the ending we hope for.
