The last episode was a letdown. What's the point of setting up important dramatic points in a plot if you're just…
I am so happy you brought up Taesung to the rescue while Haebom is speaking to the mom. I am happy I am not the only one who felt disappointed that Taesung showed up. In episode 2, Haebom was the closest to standing up to his bully, because the bully ruined Taesung’s book. I was incredibly proud of Haebom because, unfortunately, Haebom is too shy and non-confrontational to do anything. He was willing to put up with the bullying until graduation for the sake of “peace”.

Haebom actually took the initiative to stand up to Mom, and it did feel like Taesung ruined the moment. Haebom was handling Mom perfectly fine. I understand Taesung’s reasons for stepping in and reinforcing their love for one another, but if Haebom did choose to end the relationship, it would have been his choice. This was a huge coming of age moment for Haebom, and this scene would have given Taesung answers about the strength of Haebom’s love. Taesung removed Haebom’s choices by withholding the information of mom finding out.

I did like that Haebom was the one who bought the couple rings. I felt he had real character development in this series.

I didn’t read the Manhwa. I’m not going to add in anything I haven’t witnessed in the series.

Title Love Stage!!
Has the screenwriter even glanced at the original story? Ep 9 was excruciating, especially Bank's manager - that…
I do agree that the whole penultimate episode drama is over done and just a headache to sort out. Many shows do a terrible job of resolving that one last conflict before the happy ending. Not to mention most of the episode consists of flashbacks, so it feels like a waste…

Despite the cliches I enjoyed this version more than the Japanese film. I always manage to find all Japanese shows that are over the top past the point of funny. It just feels goofy and not in an enjoyable laugh out loud way. I felt the same about Ossan’s Love. My favorite troupe happens to be enemies to lovers, so this version hit all the right spots for me. The cake scene was a bit too much, but overall the show was mellow in goofiness. I didn’t realize this was supposed to be a comedy, and I don’t know if I could have watched this otherwise…. Maybe that’s a bad thing.

Hahahahahaha that is hilarious. I thought I missed something. Thanks for clarifying!

I think so too. I don't think it's fair to judge when a person is ready. Anda may be taking it seriously and wants…
100% embarrassed! Despite his embarrassment, he still came to Ryo’s aid against Tee.

I love your comment because it isn’t fair to judge. Not all kissing leads to sex, and I’m getting slightly annoyed with BL scenes that assume just because there is kissing, sex naturally follows. This show makes me warm and fuzzy with the little things.

Isn't asking Ryo to stop right in the middle of things the definition of the innocent virgin stereotype?
You make a fair point. Anda even covers his chest when Jet and Thee intrude, which can definitely be interpreted as woman. I can justify this response with privacy during an intimate moment.

I should clarify that I am mostly looking at Anda’s responses to Ryo in which Anda doesn’t shy away from Ryo after being intimate.

This happened in Tonhon and Chonlatee where Chon acted like a “shy virgin” after him and Ton slept together, and was completely unnecessary. Anda and Ryo never have that strange moment after intimacy. Anda screams shy or innocent teen more than woman.

Now I beg to question what would have happened had Jet and Thee not interrupted.

I am dying at your comment right now. I think I can clear up your confusion lol
1. Aim was just being a good cousin/ex. She didn’t mean to condone drugging her cousin. She just couldn’t say anything because she knew how much Bomb wanted Jin. If she were to stop it then Bomb would be mad and wouldn’t want to talk to her forever. She also didn’t want Jin to stay celibate for too long because it will mess with his image.
2. Bomb does so much for Jin. Jin is like his Chia Pet. When he showers him with affection, Jin’s love is going to grow. Jin shouldn’t be sharing that love with anyone else. And Jin loves Bomb so much. Bomb should be honored to drive him around, feed him, and sleep next to him. Different people show love differently. And the only reason Jin shows that love in the AM and PM is so that Bomb has positive energy to sleep and get through his day. Jin drinks a lot because he wants to enjoy that college life. It’s not real college unless you can say you were drunk for more than 50 of your time there. There is one thing that Jin does so well: he makes crutches sexy. Don’t you agree?
3. I never had to ask questions because the writers and directors did too good a job filling in the missing details. Even Kaem. He loves beyond gender, which is why he was in love with everyone he encountered. Especially Ball. Ball is just too young and immature to realize Keam’s feelings. I like to think everything works out in the end. His girlfriend is just a place holder for when his true love (Ball) realizes they are fated.

I think you were just having a hard time understanding the writers and directors so you had many questions. Glad I was able to fill them in for you. This was indeed the best show of 2021. You just have to watch it right.

This drama started out with a very good potential that I started to have high expectations for it but it ended…
The one thing that kept me coming back to this show was Jin and Bomb’s honesty about their relationship. I felt like I knew where each of them stood: Bomb is head over heels and Jin is still figuring it out.

Keam was hella confusing and it was never resolved. We had no idea wtf was going on in his head. He has a girlfriend, but every time he sees Ball he is a puddle of attraction and love at first sight??? Then there were times I thought he loved both Jin and Bomb. Is he supposed to be questioning his feelings?

And the plan nonsense. Why is it acceptable for people to meddle in other people’s love life??? They suck as friends. Giving Bomb drugs so he would be in the mood. Aim pretending to like Jin (because it seemed like this was also part of their plan). Purposely making Bomb jealous during the play. Was Bomb so helpless that he couldn’t chase after Jin himself??

And yes I agree with the gang of friends…. This is what I hated about TharnType initially. You had the scenes in the dorm, then the classroom, then the soccer field, and repeat. All the friend gatherings and practicing were so unnecessary. This could have been a 20 min episode series with all the band practice, soccer games, and eating.

I thought there would be more couples, but wishful thinking.
Thank you for letting me vent with you!!!

Title Love Stage!! Spoiler
I had to do a double take when I discovered this series. I recognized Ryo from another show and I couldn’t place it. When I realized he was Lhong from TharnType and Song from Nitiman, I was in denial for weeks. He has grown so much as an actor, and matured I love him even more. I can’t believe he is the same person. I love where they are going with this story and like it more than the Japanese adaptation. I thought I would hate Anda’s character, but I love his shyness and innocence. I’m happy they don’t make him into a “woman” when he has to deal with issues.

My favorite scene is when he and Ryo are almost past the point of no return, and Anda stops it because he isn’t ready. He doesn’t turn prude or innocent virgin stereotype. And Ryo, although surprised, respects him and stops. I wish they made more romantic scenes like that one because it felt so authentic.

Honestly, watching public opinion change concerning this show has been so interesting to watch. I remember when…
Maybe it’s been too long since I’ve watched 1000 stars. I thought Phupha didn’t care for Torfun romantically, and he made that clear after she confessed to him. I understood he loved her as a sister, so he would have a connection, albeit minor, to Tian. But the feelings Phupha has are 100 percent Tian and has nothing to do with Torfun. Unless I’m misunderstanding the beginning of your comment.

Good move. I watched all of it but wish I had dropped it early. I almost did after episodes but it got interesting…
Your comment has me dying!!! I loved when she was the teenage boy (when mom thinks lead is gay) and the little boy (got the role in the movie). Those characters were the highlight of this show.

Is the male lead here pansexual?? The original movie the female.lead was pansexual because she didn't really care…
Neither lead is pansexual. He understands she will present as different genders, ages, ethnicities etc. but he loves her regardless.

Title Enchanté
For real. There's a saying: "Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good." This is a cute series and pitched…
I adore you!!! The writers did too good a job setting up Theo and Akk’s love story that the entire Enchante plot was pointless. Once we learn it was only meant for Saifah to be Enchante and the extra 3 were unexpected, it made more sense. And was kinda sweet. I’m terrified of the next 2 episodes because of unnecessary conflict. We shall see.

I agree completely with you about Bad Buddy. I really tried to love it, but barely made it past episode 8. What made me really disappointed was the fact they”stayed together” but still kept it a secret. I’m not part of the community, but can empathize with why it’s difficult to be out to the public. But damn. This is a show and they made it really easy to be open and honest with both friends and families.

Ahhhhhhh was my response!!!! And not in a great shocked way. So much conflict for Theo to know the entire time. They did a good a job setting up Theo and Akk for me to really care about Enchente’s identity. Because they are friends I find it really sweet. Especially since he didn’t expect for 3 other guys to come forward.

I’m terrified of the last two episodes. I hope it wraps up as nice fan service and no more drama.

Hahahahaha I agree with your point about Bad Buddy. My favorite storyline is enemies to lovers and I didn’t love Bad Buddy. It was just ok.

My issue with Enchante is the guys pretending to be Enchante just to use Theo.

Otherwise, the love story is sweet.

Thank you for saving me the headache of having to read through the comments! I found your comment so endearing. Folks are so hot or cold, but I’m on the position of neutral. I recognize the issues, and whether I like them or not, I understand things will be as they are. Thank you for not hating on her as a human!

Title Doctor John Spoiler
The nurse hates Dr. Cha because he gave the patient dying of cancer a mercy killing. The patient was responsible…
Yes you are so right! It was the prosecutor’s son.

I do agree with what you said about the nurse. I feel she has every right to be angry, but because her anger was dragged on for so long, and the lengths she went through to ruin Dr. John, she became less empathetic. I do love that Korea shows us the side of their culture where people feel so powerless, they have to take matters into their own hands. I didn’t like the nurses methods, but I respect her motive. What did you think of the show overall?
