"... it feels more like a k-drama than a bl" What's the difference? Nudity? BLs are more a sensibility than a…
This entire conversation made me smile! I’m a high school ELA teacher, and it is difficult for students to see the value in becoming better writers. Incredibly happy to see others who have a passion for the arts!
It's a different setting (an office drama) but gives the same cute butterflies: Old Fashion Cupcake, from Japan
Try “All the Liquors,” “Triage,” “You Make Me Dance,” “Kissable Lips,” “Lovely Writer,” and “Happy Ending Romance.” I’m sure there are more, it these came to mind.
The motives themselves aren’t nefarious, but they still have a motive to approach.
I don’t get the ending cycle. Was the young boy in the past is the present? So how come there was another 10…
You definitely make some fair points! I love this because I’m more of a glass is half full, and we can interpret this in a few ways. I like tear jerkers like this because of the realism. I’m just glad they didn’t give us a lame excuse for the feelings of the characters. If you haven’t seen “Our Dating Sim” yet, please drop everything and watch it!

Everyone complains that this is a sad ending, but I disagree. I find the ending to be encouraging and realistic.
Everyone has those moments they regret. If given the option, they would go back and make different choices with the hope the outcome will change. BUT there are no such options in life. For me, this ending reinforces the age old words to live by that are often taught to children and adults alike: make better choices. Better choices prevent regret later on, and Kang Ji Hoon made the best choice. Imagine if KJH is responsible for the death of a 10yo child? I would imagine his emotional turmoil would be more significant. At least Shin Jae Woo can take some comfort in knowing a rational adult made a choice to risk his (KJH) life for a child. And even if Shin Jae Woo has to relive this moment, as cruel and traumatic as it is, it forces him to come to terms with the events and move forward. He has carried the burden for 15 years, and finally, he can live in peace.

It’s like every 15 years, Shin Jae Woo turns 25 and goes back in time to try to save Kang Ji Hoon from saving SJW as a 10yo boy. That same boy goes through the trauma and guilt of being responsible for a death, so he struggles to move on with his life. Once he goes back in time at 25, he is able to cope with his emotional turmoil and finally move forward.
It is very realistic that many of the couples are gay. Have you never observed the gay scheme in your city? Gay couples hang out just like hetero couples hang out together. If you ever make your way to a gay club or bar, it’s pretty cool to see so many gay couples in one space. Or it could be the gay scene in my city is extra.
Hey, can anyone explain me what's with the ep4's preview of ep5....like in the preview of ep 5 in ep 4 there was…
Where are you watching? I didn’t see the punch in my episode 4 preview of episode 5. I think I remember that scene from the trailers though….. maybe that will happen in some of the later episodes because they didn’t put much focus on the race in this episode.
So Mai was forced to resign, and he still hasn’t made an appearance?? So maybe episode 10 he’ll show his face.
All the drama with Uea is almost comical. I don’t understand why the writer chose to add all of these incomplete layers to his character. The edited flashbacks of men forcing themselves on him just makes Uea appear pathetic. Just stick to one asshole in his life and move on.
DAMN!!! This comment section blew up….. Okay I was just here a week ago and there was so much excitement for this series. I had to scroll to learn why everyone turned hater. This has elements of “Bungee Jumping of Their Own” and “Love of Spring” all over again. This is a sad day for gay Koreans.
Is no one going to comment on the fact that we got not one, but two kisses that made them boys work?? From two actors new to BL… my jaw dropped, and my T had to sop up the drool. Damn I want that chemistry!
So the secondary couple happened this ep. You might have missed it because it was subtle.
I must have been asleep because I completely missed where things took off. I looked up and Pao and Khana were kissing something fierce, then had to go back and rewatch to find out the details.
I’m digging PaoKhana significantly more than DayItt.
Everyone here comments making me angry lmao a kiss scene wasn't really needed in this series. If you badly want…
A kiss is pretty standard for a romance and how many people show affection and express their love. The teasing of kissing, but not delivering is one of the most frustrating bait tactics.
You are correct that not all romances need kissing, but unless children are involved, the majority of romances have kissing. Even if it’s one at the very end or a lip touch.
Do you high five your partner before you leave for work? Or before bed? Or was a replacement for any physical contact? There are 1000s of hetero shows that depict the same romances and don’t shy away from kissing, but it’s always gay shows that make it appear that a lack of physical and sexual expression is the norm.
If the leads are from the same band they are already very close to each other so sharing a kiss won't be a big…
I have always found it strange when actors accept these types of roles and refuse to kiss. If they are children, I understand 100%. My only understandable reason for adults is if the creators wrote it where there is no kiss. BUT there really should be. There is no reason why we cannot have a good story with a good kiss, so I am with you on the kiss.
I can’t stand when they are constantly teasing kisses, but then it gets interrupted 1000 times. That bothers me more than non-kissing.
