Honestly, there's something about the overhead shot of the boat scene ending ep 17. So nice. The darker tones of the water, boat, pier and buildings, along with the two lying on the boat and the fireflies or whatever they are glowing, looks so nice. The overhead shot was just so well done, something just so satisfying about it.

100% agree, unfortunately the toxic guy from before blocked me when he was called out by a bunch of people for being hypocritical and being rude. Some people like the attention. Hope your message gets across. Different opinions are fine and good but attacking others for them is not.

Hahaha I definitely know what you mean, I was really surprised and happy he took it like a grown up and understood why she kept it a secret and they are able to have a proper discussion then move on together. Hope the drama stays the same and there's no unnecessary angst.

No problem, I'm same I like romance and ngl wished there was more because the chemistry was great, but their tension and the overall plot kept me engaged that I didn't mind, just like Kunning palace.

Before he finds out, they already confess they like each other, and ML gets emperor to give an imperial decree for their marriage. He gets suspicious as he is investigating the relationship between her bother and her ex fiancee (Xu Zhiheng, he's not in the drama). He finds out He Ru Fei as general used to be a woman and finds out that He Ru Fei had a sister. He tests her by attacking her and seeing her sword fighting. After that, she tells him the whole truth. He asked her if she was lying about her feeling for him also, she says no they are genuine, and he apologizes for not figuring it out and missing her. Essentially, if you're worried about any misunderstandings or break ups, does not happen. He just feels sorry for not realizing the truth earlier, and they continue their relationship with no secrets.

I really, really like the double, but it's not for everyone, just depends what you like. Its not romance heavy, they only get together officially quite late, but their chemistry is amazing, they have tension throughout the whole thing and the plot is really really good. Also it's not action heavy, but more about scheming and planning and outsmarting opponents. Personally, I think its similar to story of kunning palace, but its less dark and the ML is a green flag, rather then the toxic ML in kunning palace (though I love SOKP). Both similar story wise, not a lot of action in either, romance starts late, but in both chemistry and tension is amazing and they are more about planning and plotting if thats makes sense.

Hasn't happened in the drama yet but in the novel at chapter 215 I believe. In the drama I'm guessing somewhere between ep 21-25.

Again, I didn't say to leave I said to drop the drama if it's so bad and you don't like it. Does that not make sense? To drop a drama if you don't like it? Also I am not telling anyone to do anything, it's my opinion and suggestion. And no if you write 1000 nonsense positive words it will not be productive, just like if you write 1000 nonsense negatives words it will not be productive. Nonsense is nonsense, no matter positive or negative. And again, I said negative words are fine, so I don't see where you thought only fairy dust is fine. Maybe read it properly.

Again, I don't think you read what I said properly, where did I say once. I clearly it's for the people that 'continually complain' and only have negatives things to say, key word being 'continually.' In other words frequently. And also it's my opinion, just like you can say and do whatever you want, I can also write what I want. And it's my opinion that it's not productive for people to continually complain, but keep watching the drama they complain about. If it's so bad that all someone can do is continually complain, just drop it. But thats only my opinion.

Ikr, I swear a lot of the scenes people mention when they complain about how she acts, are in the novel as well, or extremely similar.
