I agree, shows fl's kind nature, unless you have really wrong her she is fine with forgiving and moving on

Hahaha 100 percent she has her eyes on the prize

Honestly love the convo between step mother and fl start of ep 16. Breath of fresh air. In the grand scheme of things step mother may have been annoying here and there and taking her dowry and all that was obviously bad, but she never did anything that crossed the line with fl in comparison to others, and like fl said in the end her father would have married someone else anyway. Love how fl is very clear who is at fault in the end. Also enjoy how they didn't make stop mother evil till the end, appreciate her change in character. Really nice convo.

Why would guilt or remorse be portrayed, her acting and you saying she showed no guilt or remorse shows she acted well, because thats exactly what they wanted viewers to see. Her only goal was to heal his legs, she achieved that so she doesn't feel remorse or guilt

She's mentally unhealthy and emotionally quite blank a lot because of her mental health and her past trauma which we will surely see, she showed no emotion because it didn't matter to her, she achieved her goal by treating his legs, thats all. So you feeling that way actually prove she acted well.

Besides that just because you say something is not hate, doesn't mean it isn't hate. This is clearly hate so please criticism is fine but don't fill the comments with hate. Calling this mediocre crap is clear hate.

If you don't understand complex characters thats ok, comments can help you understand. As you are a Chen feiyu stan, such hate will only hurt yourself and your fav actor.

Yeh I agree, don't worry not an ex and fl makes it clear to him she told ml she would have never married 2ml even if the decree never had her marry ml, we get a better insight into 2ml in ep 12 also that helps I think, but overall yeh he's not an ex thank god

No she didn't don't worry you'll find out soon what happened, he left Lishan academy when they were both very young kids so there was no time for any romantic feelings

God damn, I didn't even clock that, thats so ye li

Hahaha ikr credit where credits due, they committed to that act

I agree, haven't seen battle of changsha, but I see a lot of comments saying this is similar so far to story of minglan, I definitely agree with that, hopefully it can keep it up.

Yeh I agree, theres something about him as well

100 percent, they did such a great job on the ost

In my opinion, and this is no shade, but it's genuinely one of the best historical cdramas in a long time, feels very unique, the pacing, storytelling, cinematography, music and acting all top notch. And the fl character is very unique. Hopefully it can keep it up

One character that I feel is a little overlooked by people right now is the consort dowager, like I honestly can't get a good read on her. She acts all loyal and stuff to the empress dowager but there just no way she actually is. Looking forward to seeing how she develops.

Damn I totally forgot about her, to be fair though in the novel she doesn't cause any misunderstandings I don't think as ml and fl both see right through her, I really hope it's the same here. I can totally see ml and fl both playing with her and messing with her like pretend fighting mean while she thinks she's the smart one.

Oh yeh when the leaves were all blowing and ml was getting ready to raid the place, so good. All the composers for the music overall have done an unreal job in this drama

Honestly when used well I really like when a character looks straight into the camera, and in ep 15, with bai Lu's acting as well, when ye li stared straight into the camera I felt that in my soul like damn

Yeh the male lead keeps changing but seems like the fl is always bai lu but yeh nothing confirmed yet so we'll see

Really nice way of putting it, I agree wish we saw more of him but too much and it could be old, either way I agree definitely like a cool breeze.

Theres a rumor that it's a tencent modern romance, a pretty spicy story from the rumors I saw but nothing confirmed yet. But from what I've heard she has confirmed it will definitely be a modern romance drama.

28k heat congratsssss

I feel like word of mouth for this drama is really good, seems like natural growth through word of mouth due to the overall high quality of the drama all around .
