Yep one for sure with Fang lie liking ML, possibly two (I reckon Yu Yi Ming will be part of one but thats just my guess), and before any arguments start, for me a love triangle doesn't mean someone likes two people. For me it's a third party that likes someone who is in a relationship and tries to get in between. Just my take, I know some might disagree and thats ok, no problems, but that's how I define a love triangle.

They've changed a lot, I think maybe a lot to do with censorship and stuff like that, maybe better to think of it as a whole new show, like FL's sister didn't commit suicide and stuff like that. And yeh I believe his 'younger brother' the kid Haochun is his son. I read someone say that the ML is a widower, so I think maybe he had a love child when young, mother passed away, so ML took care of his son, but to save his reputation and status and all that, he pretended it was his younger brother. Just my guess right now. Going to be crazy when FL finds out, I can't wait.
Also worth nothing, the novel is only 6 chapters/like 6 pages, so super super short, so they had to change a lot to make it longer. If you wanted probs could read it yourself in like 15 minutes, I might do that 😂 I didn't realize it was so short

Apparently, the director said the broadcast time is changing from 12pm to 6pm china time, starting tomorrow, as 6pm is better for popularity and viewership. Good sign if true! Shows that the drama is outperforming expectation so they're moving it to a more prime time slot. Take it with a grain of salt though but looks like thats what the director said in reply to someone on Weibo or something.
Just some info in case starting tomorrow episodes aren't released on wetv at the same time they have these first two days, likely because of this reason no need to panic.

I'm hoping the same and I feel like we will. Or possibly we'll get an episode where we see a bunch of flashbacks through the ML's POV that show us his thinking, you know the type of scene many cdramas have when we see the POV of the villain or ML planning something in flahsbacks.

Welcome to cdramas, for cdramas the three main streaming subscription sites are iqiyi, Youku and tencent (known as wetv internationally). Also viki has a lot of cdramas but viki license not make and are often behind schedule. The first three are the three big streaming platforms/producers in china, pretty much most of the big cdramas are made or co made by them and streamed first on those three platforms. Some minor other ones like mangotv, but those are the three big ones. This particular one is on wetv.

Idk what you have seen but some examples off the top of my head:

Flower of evil kdrama, bit different, not chaebol related by ML has secret identity, FL is his wife. Scheming both ways, it's a crime, mystery, romance drama. Actually quite romantic for a crime and mystery drama also.
Are you the one cdrama: ML and FL are enemies, FL looses memory, ML pretends to be her husband, FL gets memory back. Scheming but also very romantic. ML has high status like a prince or something, can't remember exactly, which he hides from FL while pretending to beher husband.
Blossoms in adversity: ML is the nephew of emperor and in charge of the capitals police force, hides behind a mask. In front of FL pretends to be a jobless soldier. Scheming but never against her, romantic.
Just some example off the top of my head, maybe you have seen them.
For people interested, as per yunhe, the show got around 25.5 million views on its premiere day, averaging roughly 6.3 million views per episode (for the first 4 episodes). This is the highest premiere day views for a cdrama in 2025. For those that don't know Yunhe is the industry standard and go to source in the c-ent industry in China for measuring a shows viewership numbers and success. Very impressive first day, especially for an air drop, hope it keeps it up. I know some people don't care about stuff like this but I always find it interesting.
