Didn't know this, very unfortunate to hear. She's talented and I really like her as an actress, wish she got more main roles, but she's still young and hopefully gets more opportunities going forward.
I was wondering the same, I am a fan of hers but haven't seen her as main in a while. Apparently she said in an interview, she was main lead in low budget dramas, she wanted to be in bigger budget dramas, but her agency is quite small and she doesn't have much backing or support so was unable to secure main lead roles in bigger budget dramas. She chose to accept second lead roles in bigger dramas to hopefully get recognition. Her agency is a subsidiary company of a larger agency, so not a lot of backing and support for her. So she made the choice herself to accept second lead roles in larger dramas rather than main lead in smaller budget dramas, to get recognition. I also think she might have been type cast due to her earlier roles, so now she's stepping out and accepting second lead roles to get recognition and hopefully land larger main lead roles in the future,
I know Zhao Lusi is the star of the show, and rightly so, glad she's back and the show is so successful. But also I'm a huge fan of Wan Peng, happy she's in this and hope she gets more attention from the success of this show as well.
For everyone wondering about the air schedule, I believe the reason we haven't got one yet is because they keep changing the time the episodes release: Day 1: 10 am china time Day 2: 12pm China time Day 3: Apparently, changing to 6pm china time. The director mentioned it in a Weibo conversation.

He's dubbed, the ML is from Hong Kong and speaks cantonese and apparently has a heavy cantonese accident, so he's pretty much dubbed in all his dramas I think.

Yeh I saw a spoiler on this, apparently FL did it on purpose, as a way to show her mother in law, that she's not close to her parents. So she can agin sympathy. Thats a theory I saw. Really shows how calculating she is.

No problem, same here I wanted to read but since the drama was out couldn't be bothered but then I found out it's so short so why not.
And yeh I think so, I think she's at least suspicious or will be very soon. I mean just the age difference alone for him to be his younger brother is weird. I feel like for someone as meticulous as her, so probably has looked into ML and his families background. So I think like you said she probably doesn't believe it fully, probably suspicious.
