Very satisfying ending no worries, just a cliff hanger as it seems the main villain might have escaped or be plotting an escape from prison, so possible second season. But ML catches the bad guys, everyone lives, case solved and ML and FL have a big kiss in the end, so satisfying ending.

I hope so as well, hope it's one sided, I read that as well, I believe thats what happens in the novel but I think they've made changes so we'll wait and see.

From the previews she does seem to be in the drama, theres a preview of her approaching ML, grabbing his hand, and talking bad about FL. As for if she's his ex or she just likes ML, not sure.

I agree, the heat is very good for any show on day 1, let alone an airdrop show with like no promo. People are posting and reposting photos very quick which is nice. Definitely show support for her.

Any benefit they have will have already been paid to them when she signed the contract for this, not now. Her agency would have gotten a percentage of her fees for acting, they already got their money. They wanted to stop this drama from airing as it shows people are still very much willing to watch her dramas and she is still very successful. Plus it also keeps her situation fresh in peoples minds, while the agency wants to sweep away what's happening quietly. Also will allow production companies and stuff to see viewers will still watch her dramas, so they are more likely to approach her for future roles (without her agency involvement). Unless ofocurse ZLS has a more back ended deal for this drama, but I doubt it. Feel like as she is already established she gets paid more upfront rather than a back end deal.

Yeh, both have a lot of secrets, so I think more they married each other for status and cause the look good together and match, but eventually they divorce and only then I think is when they really fall for each other proper.

Idk about her, but as for him, seeing some spoilers from the novel and stuff, seems like he married her because she's 'right' for his status and they're socially compatible, and he believes he can control her, plus novel wise I think he gets swayed by his ex or something after they get married. But once they divorce he finally realizes he loves her, so I think right now he doesn't love her, just sees her as more of an ideal wife given her looks and job etc.

Chinese dramas normally announce the premiere date a few days before, not sure why, so really not worth searching October cdramas as honestly they just announce the premiere a few days before, normally even less than a week before the show starts. Best place is Weibo if you have it in your country or X, and follow the official accounts and/or melon accounts that give updates.

Obviously a lot of things impact heat index, but time is important for iqiyi and Youku as well. You want it in the evening, when most people are home from work/school, so they can watch. Also that's why heat index keeps going up for a few hours after the episode airs, as more people get home and watch. Important to know, heat index never stops while the drama airs, it keeps going up and down 24 hours, never stops till the drama finishes. But normally peaks a couple hours after the episode airs in the evening/night. But a lot of things affect heat index so time is just one important thing.
