Momo definitely fishy, especially MYZ. I think MYZ definitely has done a lot of shady things in the past, regarding his mentor Jiang Yu Wen and FL's friend. Also I think maybe we have two different groups, like you said. The killings of the executives were clean and neat, only killed them. But the bomb was messy, killing a bunch of innocents. Maybe MYZ killed the executives as they wanted to expose his crimes or maybe a problem with their recent medicine they're developing and they wanted to wait while he wants to rush things. But someone else is after MYZ for things he did in the past. But all just guesses, need more info, looking forward to it.

100%, I enjoy how so far many suspects but not sure yet, it's a good sign, keeps it interesting. Plus Maggie is sus and we need to get properly introduced to Jiang Yu Wen, the mentor. And previews show FL investigating her friend's death or disappearance, somehow also related to Momo tech. Honestly, I'm starting to think squid could be more than one person. I think MYZ wronged a lot of people previously, now maybe two or three people coming together to hurt him. But we'll see, a lot of clues but nothing concrete like you said, need more episodes and info.

My thoughts so far.. I think MYZ definitely a criminal but not squid. In the first loop he died in the explosion, and at that time we didn't know it was a loop day yet. I think FL sus, but seems like she genuinely wants to save her mother and previews show her investigating a past death, so again don't think she's squid, but possibly, won't rule her out. MYZ's wife sus, planning with playboy to oust her husband. Also worth noting we see a scene of her scrolling the news, the type of thing squid would do to plan things, see current events. And spying on her husband. Also Maggie sus, really enjoyed her performance, played her character really well, very mysterious, looking forward to seeing her again in loop 4. The way she said "I'll remember you'", sounds like the type of ting a time loop perceiver would say. Also an investment banker would be a really ideal job for a time loop person. Also haven't even seen Jiang Yu Wen yet, think he will have a big role to play, alive or dead. Also think maybe we're looking for two different groups, the bomb for the first loop seemed so out of character compared to the other killings. Anyway, really liked ep 6 and 7, the sign of a good mystery as well, having many suspects but not sure who yet. Things really started heating up in ep 6 and 7 with Maggie and the introduction of Jiang Yu wen.

Would be funny if the bad guy squid, was just a talking, evil actual squid, what a twist 😂. But seriously, my thoughts so far on who is sus down below with spoilers, side note, almost everyone is. Thats a sign of a good mystery, having many suspects, but not sure who is the actual villain yet, very exciting.

100% might just be reading too much into it, but the way she worded it after ML saved her, saying I'll remember you, like in the next loop she'll remember him. Plus what better job for someone that experiences time loops than an investment banker. Might just be readings too much into it though but she's sus.

I believe this case will be the only case of the series. However, we see it goes deeper and involves people's death and disappearances from years ago, so there more mystery then just the 2 executives death and the death threats against MYZ. But, technically, I believe this is the only case, there's no completely new case if that makes sense.

I believe this case is the only case of the show, ep 6 and 7 continue on it. However it goes deeper than just the tech company. Seems it connects to events from years ago about the deaths and disappearances of other characters yet to be introduced/shown. So I believe there won't be any other completely new cases technically, they're all connected to Momo tech, but goes deeper and further than just the death of the 2 executives and threats again MYZ.

For your first point, it was Ding Qi who said this to the professor. So his dream is just deja vu of Ding Qi saying this to him in the previous loop I believe. I think so at least, maybe you're right someone else also said it but I can't remember if they did.

I agree with Han Yu Fei, he seems like the playboy, ever since his father's death he's still been drinking around, going to clubs etc, having the image he doesn't care. But we see, he really does. Also him working with MY's wife to get him replaced. Feels like he was using her fear of her husband dying to get him replaced, when his real goal wasn't to protect MY but something else.

Might just be an editing error or something, whatever it is, it's meant to show November 27th not December.

I think maybe the translation was wrong for you or you misread, after the executive dies it goes to November 27 (the next day), not December 27. We're talking about the very start of ep 2 right? When the executive dies on the 26th, then it goes forward to the next day, November 27th where ML and his boss are watching the footage on the phone.

I wonder if we'll get express for this on Sunday like iqiyi sometimes does, releasing express just before the singe episode days. I'm really looking forward to who squid is and how the ending is going to play out.

I know some people saying BJT's character was too hero like in ep 1, and I get that. Recent police cdramas have been a lot more 'grounded' for sure I totally get that take. But the action in ep 1 personally reminds me of old school Chinese police movies, like with Jackie Chan in police story, where they use to show the Chinese police as almost like super heroes being able to fight like 20 v 1. I do agree I hope they don't go too over the top, but ep1's action was the right amount for me, really reminded of Jackie Chan in old school Chinese police movies or even rush hour.

The director mentioned in an interview that they used 'Hong Kong' style action for this drama, which was often similarly used by Jackie Chan and other old school Chinese action movies. So I think thats where BJT's almost over the top fighting sequences as a cop comes from and why some people may not be used to it. Hong Kong style action was used a lot back in movies from 70's, 80's and 90's but is not seen as much in modern day cdramas.

Yes there is, definitely romantic vibes with FL, but it's not romantic focused.
