Same, some people might no be interested, but I'm constantly keeping track of the charts for this show 😂

Nah surely not, would be crazy, people would go mad 😂

Yeh 100%, I'm looking forward to it, I agree, he's definitely a grey character, looking forward to seeing what mad him like that.

It won't, like her sister's fine and everything, and we see from BTS she and Yu Yi Ming become the second couple, so it won't follow the novel ending. So much other stuff is different as well.

Yeh I agree, they've done a really good job of letting us understand her motives and backstory. Hope they do the same with ML. They've given us hints with Fang Lie's sister and his son, so I hope we find out more and it's well crafted like you said.

I feel like we shouldn't judge him too early. Don't get me wrong, what he did is despicable and he needs redemption. But we've seen the show from the FL's POV. We sympathize with her and support her regardless of her lies because we know what she went through, her painful past and her motives are pure.

But for ML its all a mystery. I think he has a tragic backstory, specifically whenever Fang lie mentions her sisters drowning he gets angry, which is rare for him. So I feel like we need his backstory to understand him. Like imagine we knew nothing about FL, all we knew is she was a liar and manipulator, no idea about her past and her reasons, we would dislike her as well. It's her backstory and her POV that allows us to sympathize and support her.

Not trying to defend him, his actions are wrong regardless, but I hope the writers do a good job of explaining his motives and past, like they did with FL.

Yeh Wang Xing Yue as the 2ml, Bai lu FL, in Story of Kunning palace, very good cdrama, and they are ML and FL in an upcoming cdrama unveil jade wind that looks good but probably release next year.

For people interested:
Heat index currently is 30,401, highest heat index of any tencent show in 2025.
Also in the top 10 highest heat index for Tencent EVER.
When Yunhe results come out, definitely will have crossed 60 million views, I'm thinking could be getting around mid 60's maybe even close 70's.
Tbh I'm struggling to predict viewership based on heat as heat index rarely gets this high 😂
Incredible.
Also fun fact, with love like galaxy s2, ZLS has two shows in the all time top 10 Tencent heat index.

For me theres no real official place, I watch them on x posted by different accounts, just search love's ambition in x and you will see a bunch. Some are posted by official accounts but most just posted by people that closely follow the drama and Chinese social media.

Weirdly, same as me haha, I watched forever and ever first and normally don't like tragic endings, but I couldn't help myself from watching. Definitely worth it, Zhou Sheng Cheng was unforgettable I agree. It's funny the 2ml played by Wang Xing Yue was also Bai Lu's 2ml in story of kunning palace and now he's her ML in the upcoming unveil jade wind. I saw people joking after missing out on her twice, he finally gets his happy ending with her 😂

Yeh exactly what I was thinking, and same here, looking forward to more fun moments of her enjoying life stress free

Oh haha ok I see my bad, yeh I feel like they need the divorce, necessary for both of them, and then we can enjoy seeing ML chase her back 😂

It's because in ep 15 preview, she consults a bunch of divorce lawyers. And in ep 16 we see she is now working as a newbie streamer, so seems like she lost her job and is starting over. So we can assume they divorced somewhere in between, as he would never let her be a streamer selling products.

I saw someone on x say this the makjang of the year and its from china and I agree. It's just so addictive. I hope they stick the landing and the second half holds up.

Saw a lot of bts of ML and FL together we haven't seen yet, after their reconciliation. Saw them both dressed up in pink cowboy barbie costumes, and another where they were dressed all black, gothic style, can't wait for that

It happens by ep 16, in the preview they aren't together anymore

Same! So excited

No problem, the little emoji's on the air calendar also give little hints for what happens in the episode if you didn't know.

Don't think so? Why? When in doubt the air schedule is in the discussions section, looking at that is best, as its the official airing schedule. The MDL countdown can be super wrong and buggy a lot of the time.

The parents are so aggravating, especially in ep 11, their complete lack of accountability and acknowledgement of the treatment they put FL through is insane. They blame her for who she is now, while not taking accountability for being the reason she needed to resort to such lengths for love.

Hahaha who needs sleep 😂
