I gotta say, the ending really needed more ML and FL sweetness, living together peacefully after the final battle. Imagine a scene of ML and FL finding out she's pregnant, celebrating with empress, emperor and consort Mei, that would have been so funny and cute. Love the post credit scene, needed more of that in my opinion. Just needed more of ML and FL living their daily lives together after the final battle.

Also screw WZS, I know they were friends since young, maybe shed a tear or two if you have to, but full on crying like that after his death, after his speech about wanting to kill everyone in chang an, doesn't deserve it.

I would so be up for a season 2 where ML and FL are married and keeping peace in the demon market and chang an together as a proper married couple, with different cases and investigations, all while raising their kid. I know it won't happen but I would so be up for that.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I read the novel a while ago, but they don't marry in the novel right? So the preview for ep 28 is new to the drama. Really excited, looking forward to it and how everything plays out one he remembers his true identity.

In the novel he does not die, eventually he lets FL go and she runs away with ML. CP stays as emperor, but not sure what will happen in the drama.

Yeh 100% I just wonder how it will end, like I know how it ends in the novel but they've changed a bit so will ML become emperor and FL empress with him, with CP as emperor of his country, can FL even became empress since she's from another country, or if they both run away together, what happens to ML's country. I have no idea but looking forward to seeing what happens.

Yeh I think that's what will happen, I agree. Then we see in the air calender back in ep 29-30, 31-32 is prison and 33-34 is the hair pin and lips like you said. So I think really won't last long, hopefully. I would like to see them work together, him as prince with both memories and FL.

If you like the second couple, ep 30 and 31 you will enjoy, its when they body swap with each other, funny and cute moments between them, also the moment she realizes she's in love with him. I'm sure there's more of them in the last few episodes from 35-38 I've heard apparently they get a lot of screen time, but they have not released with subs yet (besides the kind person that subbed them themselves and posted in comments below).

100%, besides the couple episodes of amnesia sweetness, they get married in ep 24 or 25, can't remember exact, then essentially break up in 29. So disappointed, can I ask, when she gets her memory back does she still insist on leaving ML? Do you know?

No way, thats so unfortunate to being the final scene before the drama ends, even with a small pregnancy scene in credits, I was hoping for way more sweetness at the end, with no worries and just them being together happily finally.

But is that the actual final scene like Krish said? Or is it more of a compilation/edit of the end of ep 38, cause you would hope there's more to the end than him waking up in a coma then a time skip, with a few seconds of them actual together to end

Is this actually the final scene? Like no explanation about him waking up and barely any pregnancy, that really the end? Surely not. I won't judge to early till I watch, but they gotta give us an explanation of him waking up and hopefully more pregnant scenes. I'll wait till I watch, don't want to jump the gun, but I was really looking forward to more of their married, sweetness, with no worries and just happy together.

100%, heavy drama but was really worth it, 12 great episodes.

Hahah I get you, if you liked ep 1 you'll like it, they put a lot into the first couple eps, and TL is very, very heavy, happy ending though but heavy in between.
