Found out the evil master that helped Pei Ji Ya is the head disciple/sect master of changxi palace. PJY is killed by WZS and WZS goes full evil.

I feel like ep 23 made a lot of progress and really kick started the second half of the show. We got a reveal of one of the villains true identity, we got a death, and we got a character really and truly beginning to turn evil. We also got glimpses into the past, return of another villain and the beginnings of the big bad and their true goal. Feels like the storm is brewing and feels like ep 23 kick started the second act of the show.

Just watched ep 23, well didn't take long for all the speculation about changxi palace and someone evil there to prove true. The head disciple really was evil, gotta say I know my jaw lines, recognized it from day 1 😂

I think from Changxi, his jaw that we saw reminds me of the big brother/head and the sleeve he shows is the same/very similar to the Changxi outfit, just my guess though

It's because the CVB measurement above is not measuring just pure viewership only, it's a mix of metrics that produces a final score, this includes popularity scores on top of viewership (its not the usual CVB measure you might be used to). Where as, yunhe and kuyun are mainly focused on pure viewership numbers, datawin is different from yunhe and kuyun as that it also includes popularity scores and different metric on top of pure viewership. Thats why they're different, just measuring different things. As moonlit reunion is not on a cctv channel or Chinese tv, this CVB measure above is different to the usual CVB measure you might be used to. This CVB measurement mentioned above brings in a lot of different factors for example from august 4th-10th arsenal military academy was ranked 8th on the same list. No hate btw, not saying this metric is bad.

Yeh ikr such a delusional thing to ask, what I like is in the clip after he tells ML that, ML waits for her at night after she snuck out, and all he tells her is next time you go out at night make sure your hairs dry (I guess her hair was wet for whatever reason), so understanding, thats why any misundeataindgs coming after will annoy me. I'll definitely let you know what happens after I watch 29-31, whenever all the relationships drama happens. I'm same, I dislike noble idiocy, 9 times out of 10 it's for the dumbest reason just to create some angst. Hopefully, it's quick and we move on to the fights and stuff we have seen in the trailer like you said, still a lot to go. On the bright side, if we guess the divorce clip and all that is at ep 31 latest, then since in the clip he mentions they have cleared up the misunderstanding of the fire 18 years ago and Changxi palace is in an alliance with the demon market, at least that means we're making progress.

In the novel there is no divorce or misunderstandings at all, misunderstandings and relationship angst were added into the drama, they aren't in the novel, the drama is very different in this aspect, so we'll have to wait and see what happens in the drama. They do fight side by side in the novel.

In the comments, a clip was just posted where FL asks for a divorce and ML said the misunderstanding has already been solved, there's an alliance between demon market and Changxi, why can't we go back, and she insists on leaving him. Like why, if there an alliance, the misunderstandings resolved, why leave. Thats why I feel, FL is being blackmailed or some noble idiocy to protect ML from WZS but I'll wait and see before I judge too early. I definitely think now WZS is crazier after the clips I saw, there was another where he said to ML 'how do you know FL doesn't sneak out at night to meet me when your asleep', and the he spies on ML and FL kissing (ML does it on purpose cause he knows he's watching). Anyway crazy behavior for sure.

Yeh exactly, I hope not, I hope it's an episode before. I think we need an episode to wrap up how the demon world and human world live together in harmony after, what happens to the side couples etc. So hoping it happens before. Plus we need big brother defeated, rat elder defeated (assuming WZS is the big bad), or possibly even there is another bigger villain above WZS that is maybe what they're summoning from that pit in the trailer or in that prison that is supposedly empty. Plus, we'll likely see Changxi palace (besides evil big brother) working together with ML and FL and some demons to fight, so much to fit in and set up. All on top of the inevitable reveal of each others identities and the truth about 18 years ago, a lot to do.
