Oh yeh him tampering with the bird thing and no one doing anything was crazy. Especially his second brother or whatever that saw the hooded figure tamper with the bird formation and said nothing except warning the ML to leave after he survived. Like you not gonna mention you saw a suspicious looking hooded guy tamper with the bird formation? ok. Thats true about the alliance, didn't think of the possibility it cause be a set up by big brother at changxi palace true. I'm not sure about his goal either, he said he wants demon chaos in chang'an so he can lead his men there, but why? I'm sure we'll find out but not sure right now if he's meant to be a side villain or part of the larger villain group. Obsessed dude is crazy stalker, the scene with him watching them kiss will be so weird to watch, I truly hope FL draws a proper line with him from here on out. No like best friend nonsense. I;m pretty sure from the trailer also we saw that sword relic he gave back, back in ML's hands so we know sooner or later he gets it back. Also I rechecked the relationship chart and the antagonist from wanted detective has a link with the old cat master that died in the fire 18 years ago. So that makes me think even more he will be the body for the resurrected black smoke. But still have to wait and see, I hope he doesn't make a minor role that wastes his potential.

Yeh, I'll let you know about the relationship angst, I agree will make people angry, especially after finally seeing a wedding and supposed happiness. Especially, if noble idiocy is involved, that will be annoying because lets be real ML is supposed to be strong, so is FL, they re meant to be some of the strongest going around (strongest taoist, strongest demon). So neither would need the others protection you would think. Likewise, you would tink WZS would know FL better to release, if he destroyed the city and everyone she loved, what makes him think FL would just accept it and go to him. Definitely, just obsession not love.

Definietly agree, I think you will like ep 23, although can be a bit confusing regarding the big villain had to re watch to understand fully what was happening. I feel like ep 23 should have been done earlier, set up all this a bit earlier, but at least we know it's beginning to be set up. In terms of the relic, yeh his master gave it to him but his big brother was like its part of the sect, if you leave you have it give it back etc, and ML too trusting and returned it (it was that talisman ML was always wearing that saved him form the rock monster and also turns into a sword). I'm guessing we will get a plot like ML is in trouble, it returns to him cause evil big brother isn't 'worthy' to use it and doesn't follow his command or something like that. I agree with the wedding stuff. Thats why I liked LOTFG changing from the novel and explosion her identity before marriage or engagement. Wish they did it hear as well, seems like the order isn't right but oh well, probably just want to up the angst which is a bit annoying. I think ep 24/25 happiness, then a bit of happiness in 26 then form then on seems like suspicious begins in bad half of 26 on wards. Will be interesting to see how Changxi palace and emon market reach an alliance so quick in the next few eps. And I do hope we get a bit more explanation on the big villain the three eyed giant/black smoke, like his background and what happened 18 years ago to make into black smoke now. I'm thinking since WZS said he would get him a body, maybe thats when we will see the antagonist from wanted detective.

Not sure if its their wedding night, don't think it is, just a random night, I mentioned to you before how he tells ML saying how do you knew she doesn't leave at night to meet me when you're sleeping, its the same night, FL sneaks out, ML waits up for her, she returns, they kiss, while WZS is peak. Major stalking behavior for sure. Not you mention it, I forgot the guy from wanted detective was in this, so true haven't seen him yet. When I'm not subscribed, I watch on kisskh, and normally they have the express episode up just sometimes a couple hours slower. Idk if you bootleg somewhere else though how it will work. As for the misunderstanding , seemingly the major divorce talks happens after the demon market and changxi sect alliance already happens and ML seems to accept FL fully, so I'm guessing has to be noble idiocy on FL's part, as she's insisting for the divorce. However, there will likely be misunderstandings when they find out their true identities before the alliance, so it's a double dose of angst and misunderstanding it seems. I talked more about the main plot like we discussed in my other reply to you so I'll leave that out here, but yeh we need direction for sure.

In ep 23 we had a lot of reveals and decent progress. WZS gave back the rat dude his powers essentially, so now I guess the rat dude will work for him. The big brother didn't cause the fire, still unsure what his goal is, but he's an evil cultivator that was the one that gave PJY his powers, his goal was to have MZY killed or leave chang an and never return. However in ep 22 MZY goes through the punishment and leaves his sect (he is also returns a relic of the sect his master gave him, I guess a symbol of who's the strongest, he returns it straight to his evil big brother, seems to be a powerful unique weapon of the sect). Not sure what big brothers goal is but for now he doesn't seem to be working with WZS, he mentions he wanted demon chaos in Chang an so he could lead his men there (big brother I'm talking about), but idk what his end goal is. WZS spies on this conversation and then kills PJY, so maybe he will ally with big brother. As for the fire we see WZS is responsible, he was the 'slave'/ally of the big villain, the three eyed giant we saw in flashbacks, which is the demon infant and also the black smoke that is constantly around WZS. His goal 18 years was to destroy Chang an, so he could rebuild it with mortals and demons living together with him in charge. WZS was his old helper, now he says he will help him in this goal again and destroy chang an, as long as he gets FL, all he cares about is getting FL, his words were everyone else around her is expendable she's all that matters. So in essence, we have big brother, wanting an excuse to seemingly invade chang'an with his men worried ML will get in his way. Then WZS, rat elder and the big villain (the three eyed giant/black smoke), looking to destroy chang'an so they can rebuilt it in their image and control, and of course WZS wants FL all to himself. Not bad progress but personally still confused about big brothers end goal and who exactly is the demon infant/black smoke and how will he be resurrected, as WZS mentions he promised to get back his spirit/powers and get him a body. We got some answers but still a lot of uncertainty, especially with the pit stuff. A lot to fit in still, feels like ep 23 should have happened earlier.

Same, one of my favorites, I hope the drama they're making in the same universe, kind of like a sequel is just as good.

The duel fighting scene, even though they weren't technically together, gave me journey to love vibes and I'm here for it. Really nicely done having them side by side, gave the feeling they were fighting together.

Besides ep 24 and 25 I already told you about.
26, Shuang Jing saw FL's helper lady catch a cat and disappear into Ruyi pavilion (like how demon disappear into thin air when they want to travel fast), thus ML begins suspecting ruyi pavilion in regards to the demon market. Then we see a steamy kiss between ML and FL, after she mentions she just returned form ruyi pavilion at night, probably making him suspicious of her as well, while WZS is watching the kiss.
ep 27: WZS seemingly threatening FL not sure what he says with no subs but something like discusses what happened 18 years ago and tells her she is a demon and on should be on the demons side not humans something along those lines. Then she visits ML at work and ML seems to realize something and he tells FL to stop coming towards him. Seems like something in the headquarters he works at may have something to do with demons or something, he looks down at this pattern on the ground in the middle of his work place, then at her and seems to realize something.

I think not really hanging out with other men, its described better in the novel, that she enjoys brothel and such because she's actually a big fan of music and dance, so she goes for the music and dance not the men, but not explained well in the show. Also ep 23 was quite good, progressed the plot a lot, not sure if you have seen it. We were right about big brother, he was evil that was exposed in ep 23. Rat elder came back due to WZS helping him. WZS goes full evil, he kills PJY the cousin and we find out more about what happened 18 years ago and the true goal of WZS and the big villain. We get introduced to the big villain as well but briefly. Made a lot of progress ep 23 like we wanted, still a bit confused about some things but it's a start.

Same but nah WZS wanted to get rid of him for what he did to FL and because he desires her as well, plus PJY insults him a bit 😂
