You should! Those emoji's on the air calendar give hints/are related to what happens in the episode, its fun to try and figure out what they mean, like love hearts or kisses will often mean progress in the romance or steamy kisses, or sometimes they use an emoji that shows marriage giving a hint that there will be a marriage or something similar in that episode, stuff like that. For example in trailers we've seen FL in prison being tortured by ML, from the air calendar we see a prison emoji for episodes 31 and 32, so maybe that is the scene where she will be imprisoned by ML, stuff like that, it's fun to try guess what happens.

Yeh I feel like once marriage happens, misunderstandings should be behind them, like LOTFG fund out about her identity and all that before, and only had an ep of brooding. Hope its the same here, if it happens in 31 with the heartbreak picture, its really can't last too long you would hope, otherwise it's getting too close to the end. But in the trailer there's still a couple big looking arguments between them that haven't happened so idk. Like you said, may hurt the ratings or viewership , especially when you have a whole wedding, a cute confession and steamy kisses, no one wants a break up all of a sudden. And I agree with the rat, it was called a death match for a reason you know, he'll definitely be back.

No problem, and yeh another argument, idk what about but she refers to him and Shu elder or Shu da ren in Mandarin so she's talking to him in an official not close type of way, and she said something along the lines of its my decision, if theres a mistake I'll take responsibility, shouldn't you worry about yourself. Seems like WZS just throwing another tantrum tbh like you said.

There better not be a divorce, most I can take is maybe an episode, maximum two of cold shoulders and crying and drinking, I really hope not though. And like you said, ep 31 is way to late for that, if its going to happen please let it happen sooner and then a make up. I agree on the villain front, I'm seriously hoping they kill some people. We let the rat elder live, let the cousin live, like we gotta kill some villains not just let them live to come back. The big brother and WZS better die, we even saw in the latest episode we crated a mini fire that ML put out, moments before FL woke up after he kidnapped her. In terms of him getting kicked out, big brother may know FL is a demon, but I think he's getting kicked out for getting married, as Shuang Jing mention people of Changxi palace can't get married or can't love someone else, so I think for the most part its just because he wishes to get married. But yeh we need the main plot to come together, hopefully happens soon.

Previews for ep 22, 23, 24 and 25. Previews have no subs so just rough understanding.
The preview for ep 22: Him telling his big brother he wants to leave and get married, big brother saying if he really wants to leave he needs to go through something (I'm guessing the punishment or whatever) and they will have no connection anymore, something like that, so he officially leaves this episode. Also we see a disagreement between FL and WZS.
Ep 23:ML talks to his master (some middle aged guy we haven't seen), his master seems understanding telling him he knew he would always leave and to find his purpose away from changxi palace or something along those lines, then we see him reunite with FL saying he really wants to marry her.
ep 24: Marriage scene the whole preview.
ep 25: Hot bathtub kiss and then it seems ML has found out about how there's a "second Chang'an" is how he put it, a demon chang'an. So seems he's very close to fully uncovering the demon night market.
Again no subs so it's my rough understanding of what's happening along the same lines.

Yeh for sure, marry in ep 24, in ep 22/23, he goes and get kicked out from the sect after punishment. Also like you said from trailers we know there's arguing/fighting scenes between ML and FL that haven't happened so likely will happen after she's married. Tbh one changed I liked about LOTFG novel, they changed it so the reveal of her identity was before any marriage or engagement. Wish they did it here also, but I guess to create angst we'll see. Who knows, maybe the trailers are faking us out and they follow the novel and there's no misunderstanding at all. But yeh got a lot to fit so would be nice to start getting some proper answers about the main plot and like what is the actual goal of WZS or whoever the villain is like big brother, what are they actually trying to do beside just obsessing over FL. Like are they trying to create another fire like 18 years ago, or they trying to ruin the world and kill all humans. Like what's their actual plan.

I heard it's meant to be a comedy but no idea for sure, thats the first time I saw the trailer haha. I'm not sure how I feel about it but just have to wait and see.

Yeh same, personally, I didn't mind the novel ending it's not bad, but I think it could be better for sure. Hopefully they improved it a bit.

Yeh sometimes it is hard to disassociate when they play back to back so quickly. but atleast before Mo li they’ll be a long break. But he’s got another republic era show supposedly airing very soon and a historical drama with wang Churan just waiting to pass review and get its distribution license. So he’s got at least 2 other dramas before mo li. A lot of Cheng lei to come still but Mo li is the big one.

I can't wait for that, read the novel also, I really hope it's good! Glad he's getting bigger and bigger roles.

If you haven't seen it one of his earlier break out roles was Familiar stranger. It's a mini/short drama, I'm normally not a fan of those, prefer just longer/normal sized dramas, but it's really good, a super quick watch and he's great in it. Was his first real breakout role.

Yeh pretty much, she fakes her death, he goes to avenger her then realizes she's alive. She takes him away. Because of that he gets his prince status stripped, FL is technically dead (emperor lets her go in the end), so they just go away together. Happy ending.

I really do hope it breaks 10k but gonna be tough I won't lie, got tough competition with the other two main airing shows and thriving land still getting a lot of views. But honestly just under 8k after three days of airing, not bad, it's very possible, especially with fans of Cheng Lei carrying over from LOTFG. This show also, just my opinion. but more fast paced and attention grabbing, likely to get viewers sucked in quicker.

No problem with that everyone has their own opinions, some like feud more, some will like this more, no problems either way. I do hope this drama gets more promotion, iqiyi has been spoiled this year with dark horses though, like thriving land and coroners diary were so unexpected. So they seem to have ignored this drama a bit, more focused on journey to legend then this which sucks. Hopefully if the numbers pick up they will increase promotion, still very early.
