OMG, I'm dead. My Jet and Charn!!! I've been so into them since the beginning and they didn't disappoint. I was so wrong about Charn, BTW, I thought he was going to reject Jet because he doesn't believe in past lives, but he actually iniciated it, OMG. I was a little surprised it escalated that quickly between them, but it's been buidling up since the beginning, so maybe I shouldn't be.
There was a song during while Jet and Charn were dancing, which I'm pretty sure it's sung by Tle. Release it asap, plz.
To be fair, the main couple made a lot of progress, too. I don't think Master is going to stay strong for much longer.
I'm really invested in Charn and Jet (ok, the fact that they are played by Tle and FirstOne helps) and after this episode, I'm worried that Charn will reject Jet because he will think that his attraction to him is a side effect from their previous lives and he made it clear that this doesn't matter to him, considering what he told Khem. :( I'd really hate to see sweet, genuine Jet hurt.
The episode was as great as the previous ones for me. It was clear from the beginning that the romance between the mains won't happen quickly. I dislike them putting a girl between them, but I'm pretty sure that Peem has never felt anything for her and this SL won't last long.
It ended exactly like it should have after everything that's happened, the only logical ending. Shuhe got his revenge. I loved the story very much, it kept me on my toes the entire time.
From the currently airing Japanese BL series, I liked this one best. It was a slow-burn, but there was an explanation for it, both Natsuo and Hiro were not typical characters, especially Natsuo, and the unhinged and passionate ending felt to me like a reward both of them and we as an audience deserved after seeing all they went through.
I just have to say one single thing - Shen Wenlang is embarrassingly stupid. Like not just dumb, but dense and oblivious too. He might be the only character I know of who is going to be dumped by the one he likes before he even realises he likes him.
since you're reading the novel, could you please tell me what the basic synopsis of this drama is going to be??…
Warning: read further only if you want spoilers from the book: . . . . .
It's hard to summarize the novel because the reasons why Fan Xiao tries to make You Shulang's life as horrible as possible at the beginning are not really understandable. Fan Xiao meets You Shulang during a car accident (not a serious one), which is caused by You Shulang. He is angered, without showing it, that You Shulang delayed him (with 40 minuted or something) and later, after meeting him again by accident, he decides that You Shulang is too perfect, too nice, too much of a good person. For some reason this bothers him so much that he starts doing everything to make his life harder, but in the background, while pretending to be You Shulang's friend in front of him and manipulating him and everyone in his life behind his back. You Shulang has a steady boyfriend and one of Fan Xiao's aims is to break them up. Fan Xiao is from a rich family and has grown up in Thailand, You Shulang is a poor adopted child.
Later, Fan Xiao falls for You Shulang, in an obssessive, possessive, clingy, destructive way, and it gets even worse. He's totally fixated on keeping You Shulang close to him, no matter what, even if it means destroying his life, isolating him from others, etc. It takes a long while until he's revealed.
The thing that makes it all interesting is that You Shulang is a strong and resilient person and it takes a lot to make a victim out of him.
I know it's wrong, but I like watching Hua Yong's real psycho lunatic (as his lover very rightfully called him) unleashed self way more on screen than when he pretends to be all meek and sweet. Him playing with the apple in that black outfit was the highlight in this episode for me.
Of course, he's a horrible and manipulative human being. During the day, he spends his time playing with his lover's life, company and worse, health, and in the evenings he goes back to cook him soup and comforts him. This is seriously messed up.
And OMG, it was so funny that he even didn't buy the groceries himself. :D At least he's cooking by himself.
I've been reading the novel (with automatic translation, which is not perfect, but readable) and seriously, Fan Xiao is the most toxic and manipulative ML I've ever seen. Worse than Ming, Sorn, Jaemin, Type or any Mame ML, Gu Hai, the Only Friends guys, etc. I don't know how they will deal with that and make it work, because it's almost unbearable to read. The other ML is a very strong person, which helps, but it's a very heavy read nonetheless.
I rewatched the episode and have to say that I'm really impressed, they obviously invested a lot of money and effort to do something unique and different. Very nice-looking and capable cast, the setting is something we don't see every day and the SL with the ghosts and the curse is engaging and makes you want to see more. Well, Jet's hair colour changes seemingly in every second scene, but he has to be my favourite character so far, I just love him, so it doesn't bother me.
This can be huge if the quality stays the same. Can't wait to see more!
Chan and Jet are a second couple? or is Chan interested in Khem?i loved the first ep, i like when bl and horror…
I really, really hope that Chan and Jet will be a couple, but I haven't seen any confirmation about it, except that Tle and FirstOne are a fixed couple in Domundi. Does that count? No idea.
Someone on Reddit commented that iQIYI is trying very hard to sabotage this series and I'm starting to agree. This is the second week in row that the English subs are missing.
They should've given JimmySea a series with them being the bickering couple a lot earlier because I swear, no one does it like them. Of course, a well-written script also helps.
This is officially my favourite series of theirs, there's not a single second wasted.

I also hope to see the Ramphueng story soon.

Love the story and the mystery and the ghosts, love how petty Khem was to Peem in this episode, and adore Jet. <3
Personally I hope they'll tone the toxicity down a little.
